9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all excellent and as attentive, cheerful and helpful as any I have met. We were very well looked after. The staff really think about their guests and their requirements. They meet the extremely high standards of excellence they set themselves. The site is well designed and attractive. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The cleaning is excellent. The food is good. We had healthy and delicious meals (apart from an enormous ice cream once). We were stressed on arrival. A week later, we felt pampered, relaxed and sorry to go. We can find any faults.
Cons: We have no complaints. We are very satisfied customers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent especially Miriam and Antonio
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the essence of perfection from the first moment to the last. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and their professional approach and pride in the high standards they hold themselves to is a pure joy. Every aspect of the hotel is pristine and the quiet calm and privacy makes this a bona fide oasis.
Cons: having to come home!
9.5 Excellent

Pros: Views, peaceful, staff - absolute paradise
Cons: Leaving to go home
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lanis most definitely has the WOW factor. The staff are a credit not only to Lanis but to themselves, they sure do know how to treat customers in a special way, and not forgetting the chefs, the people we don't see, their cooking skills are second to none, the food they provide is delicious. Would have absolutely no hesitation returning to this gem of a hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at Lani’s is pretty near perfect. Concierge, restaurant, pool staff, simply everyone wants to offer the best customer service possible. I think that Lani’s could offer seminars to companies to help them understand what true customer service is. Yup, its that good. Our room was very nice, and always kept in perfect order by the quietly efficient housekeeping staff. We typically only eat breakfast and an occasional meal at a hotel- we want to experience the local scene, but the restaurant is so well run, so accommodating and lovely that we ate most meals at the hotel- poolside, or they brought food to our deck, or at the restaurant itself.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were exceptional, views fantastic, they served cava for breakfast choice of rose or white, plus at lunchtime and late afternoon they came around the pool area and to your patio if you were on the first floor with drinks and canapes.Breakfast service was excellent and you also had a choice of ordering room service at no extra charge from the ipad that was give to you when you arrive.Champagne and chocolates on arrival, plus it was my partners 50th birthday and they went all out to make this very special for him
Cons: There was nothing to improve on at this hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The architecture, the decor, the view, the location, the staff, the food, the cocktails, the TV, the hot tub, the cleaner, I could go on.
Cons: If anyone has something to complain about, I’d doubt it was true.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing - having to leave!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great Hotel, fantastic helpful and attentive staff, and a great location.
Cons: We had a leak in our bathroom, through the ceiling, and we had to let the staff know on 3 occasions, over 3 days, we were told it was fixed-however it wasn't! They did offer us a new room, however as we were at the end of our stay the hassle of repacking and then unpacking seemed pointless.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From start to finish the holiday was truly memorable. From the welcome drinks on arrival, to the the attentive staff throughout the stay, we felt like royalty. We stayed Star Prestige in 3208 and had a wonderful view of the pool and the coast just behind. The area was exclusive, and the onsite bar was a real treat. The rooms were well kept, and serviced twice a day. We went all inclusive, and benefited from the buffet food (as much as we could eat) and the prestige a la carte restaurant. The endless supply of drinks was brilliant. The theatre cooking was brilliant, and we were always well looked after. We participated in some of the onsite activities as well which were good fun. Recommend the archery and water sports. Katie, the Prestige Assistant was such a friendly person, who was on hand always to have a chat and offer advice regarding the goings on at the resort. We hired a car at the airport to explore the island as well, and we weren't too far away from most of the tourist bits on the island. There is an onsite car park which was great, as the road parking can be a bit tight. It was a shame to leave, and we were extremely envious of all the new arrivals turning up for their holiday! Would visit again for sure!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything else . The staff were superfriendly and the hotel was very clean.
Cons: The barmaid
6.3 Good
Pros: The property is architecturally beautiful. The staff are friendly.
Cons: I booked half board. I have NEVER been asked to pay for water or soft drinks at dinner - honestly shocking. Only 1 bottle of water per room per night - ridiculous. Unfortunately I had to call to ask for water nearly every day. I chose this hotel for 2 reasons - the spa and beach. The lack of spa availability is not good - on June 28th I was told the next available appointment was July 8th. The beach is not anywhere near the property despite the website giving the impression that the hotel is on the beach. Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel - the beauty did not makeup for the deceptive advertising, lack of spa availability and no beverages included in the dinner plan. Truly unfortunate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Gym was very basic
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The property was amazing everything was perfect especially the view. The breakfast was up to an excellent standard with a great variety of food. The pool area was extremely beautiful with amazing views if you wanted to sunbath on the balcony and the two pools are perfect for cooling down with a drink from the pool bar.
Cons: Would of been amazing if there was some night entertainment on are stay there but I don’t think there was on are particular dates. Another thing which wasn’t a big problem but would of been better if it was a double bed instead of two singles being pushed together.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second time returning to this hotel. We were treated like royalty as always. If you want an extremely classy 5* hotel, mixed with the liveliness of the town, this is your place every time. Incredible!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything
Cons: Pillows could be better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and Pool Bar Service
Cons: It was unfortunate & unlucky but I broke a tooth from crystal of salt during dinner in hotel restaurant on 1st evening. Hotel recommened I a clinic in Costa Tequise on Sat morning & I ended up having my tooth extracted. Bad start to my holiday but it was just my bad luck.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The food at the hotel was delicious. The staff were so friendly and polite, especially Daniela and David at the pool bar. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was really spacious and had everything that we needed.
Cons: The only issue that we had was we found the bed in the room a little bit too hard.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are very nice and comfortable. It's a relatively smaller hotel, compared to some others which is very nice because it was never too crowded. Also the staff is very helpful and friendly, they will go the extra mile to give you the best experience. Our flight was only in the evening and we were offered a late check-out for free as our room was not booked for that day. They also have a towel policy at the pool, removing them from unused chairs after 30 mins. So we always found a spot, never had to rush. We would definitely recommend staying here!
Cons: If we would need to remark something, it would be that the WIFI did not work very well at the pool
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Standard accomodation, pools were nice and apartments were quite spacious as was the bathrooms. View of the sea was lovely. Was 5 mins in a taxi to the main strip of puerto del carmen.
Cons: The cleaniness of the apartments were quite poor and no air con was available, very hot at night. Steep hills up to the apartment and so people with poor mobility have to get taxis. Pool bar was quite bad and staff were quite rude.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Pool bar was great as was the pool itself. The location was perfect as it's only 10 mins walk to the local shops/bars/restaurants. You will need to get a taxi to the new town but this is only approx 4Euros and is only 5 mins away by car.
Cons: N/A

Pros: The hotel was amazing and in a great location. Plenty of choice at meal times. staff were friendly too
Cons: only the weather!
7.5 Good
Pros: The food is great, various (new) dishes are served each day. All quite tasty. The pool is also very nice and very spacious. Give the spa a try as well, we really enjoyed it!
Cons: For the most part everything was great however the cleanliness of our room's bathroom was disappointing. Black fungus spots around the bathtub tiles and on the ceiling... it's surprising for such a well rated resort. Additionally the wifi in our room didn't work most of the time. We weren't well informed about events and facilities as well, so we actually learned about some nice things on our last day... it'd be nicer if the staff found a way to improve this.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent dining. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great and friendly one of the best hotels I have stayed
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was excellent even though only went for bed and breakfast option the lunch and evening meals also looked amazing. Room was spacious and cleaned when requested. Plenty of space and sunbeds round the pool. Excellent swimming pool.
Cons: No room service provided or food offer, so as arrived late food was not available unless you went to the beachside restaurants. Not enough bar staff early evening from 6pm. Lack of food options at lunchtime and evening for babies. Was not told about evening entertainment and things going on had to go to reception for a leaflet. Requested room with a view and didn't have one apart from palm trees. Seats on the terrace could have been upgraded and more comfortable as simply basic plastic chairs and no sun loungers.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything from staff to food to location.
Cons: No complaints
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was delicious, bed really comfy, mattresses for sunbeds were fab
Cons: A longer holiday

There is a car rental in the hotel which makes it easier to rent a car and no credit card is required (debit card is fine) The buffet menu for breakfast and dinner was always slightly different with lots of choices, like some days pancakes for breakfast! Another plus was that water was available for free at the pools.

Pros: Absolutely beautiful property in a lovely rural village. Lots of walks and interesting things around.

Pros: Everything. The staff were so friendly and accomadating. Food in the restaurant amazing. Facilites first class. The location was spectacular with views of the volcanos and surrounding nature.
Cons: The place was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Where do we start! It was perfect with a heated pool, new IT, good furniture and brilliant kitchen. As for the double shower, fantastic! There were two distinct outdoor areas that had a mixture of shade and sun, air conditioning, heating and appliances were either SMEG, Bosch or Philips. Yaiza is well located for the South of the island. The hosts were amongst the best we have ever stayed with.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is excellent. the location is ideal if you want to visit different parts of the island since the village is located in the centre of the island. Pros: The property is beautiful and the suite we had was fantastic with beautiful pieces of artwork that you’d expect to see in a 17th Century palace or Church but very fitting with the rest of the Deco. The bathroom was huge with large walk in shower and a stand-alone cast iron bath
Cons: The only downside was there was no fridge or tea and coffee facility in the rooms. We always take our own just in case but this is a standard provision provided in most B&Bs and hotels.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Having stayed in Hotel Fariones for over twenty years I found it difficult to get a similar hotel, I stayed here three years ago & it was ok, however this time it was superior, I had a lovely newly decorated room , I was a solo traveler, & felt everything just suited me perfectly. Loved the breakfast each morning , Staff were very friendly and appeared to genuinely be delighted to have me as a guest !!! I never felt alone. Swam in the sea every day it was so easy to access from the pool area. All in all I had a brilliant holiday & look forward to returning.
Cons: I am really only looking for something here but maybe a more lively night entertainment feature. What was available didn't entice me to stay the nights I was there, about two or three.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location , food
Cons: We told reception that a glass had fallen off a table and broke into tiny pieces .... floor needed to be cleaned properly but we still continued to find glass in floor throughout the rest of our stay !
8.8 Excellent

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Liked our suite very much. Loved the pool area, quality of the loungers, umbrellas & the hygiene standards of the general area. Loved the brightness of the interior of the hotel.
Cons: I would have preferred more fresh fruit options at breakfast, rather than tinned pears, pineapple & peaches. Otherwise breakfast was very good.
