location was awesome
the hotel was old and a bit tired. Neither the pub or cafe was open so there was no way to go for an after ski drink.

Maybe it’s okay if you’re skiing, but not in the off season. Definitely the least clean hotel I’ve seen in all of Japan. The room looked like an old crime seen. The buffet was sub par and most of the food was cold at dinner. There was no deodorizer spray in the room. Didn’t think that was possible in Japan.

Public bath was great after a day of boarding. Hotel is right bedside one of the lifts. Rental gear is fairly priced. A staff member named Torutokutake went out of his way to help us and he made our experience here unforgettable. Can’t thank him enough. You’re the best Torutokutake!!! Quick Tip: Grab beers and sake from the convenience store at the bottom on the hill to save some money. Everything is a bit more expensive up at the hotel. Lots of affordable lunch spots on the hill and around the resort. Arigatou gozaimasu Torutokutake!!!

It had everything you could want. The vending machines offer best value beer. The shop sells cheap noodle dishes and a room to heat and eat. Great for young people on a budget. The room was warm. The experience was very Japanese and great for families. The staff have almost no English but went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. That was the best part of our stay. The food was unlimited and very tasty.
Nothing really. It's big and a bit dated and daunting for an Australian tourist at first glance, but feels welcoming like you are at home pretty quickly when you chill out.
