Pros (+) Room was basic but all you need, both room and bathroom very clean. Hotel was quiet but probably more a function of the particular guests that night. Breakfast was slightly better than standard continental: hot eggs snd sausage, make your own pancakes, yogurt, oatmeal, etc.
Pros (+) Convenient to 95. Decent value. Seemed like bathroom was recently renovated. Small refrigerator in room
Cons (-) No elevator to second floor. Pool dreary. Toilet was not bolted securely to the bathroom floor.
Pros (+) We were up in York for a wedding and since I (the husband) was in the wedding my wife and I and our young child grabbed an affordable rate with The Best Western. The room was huge and clean and comfortable. The pool was nice, breakfast was okay but better than most complimentary ones. The distance to the shore was short and easy and direct - same for the highway.
Cons (-) The staff cleaning the rooms seemed confused that we had a do not disturb sign on the door. When we're staying somewhere for only a few days we keep it up and just ask for clean towels - he seemed baffled by this but we also don't trash our room - single pile of towels and all trashed gathered up. The indoor pool was a bit murky too - but again - nothing to cry over.
