Good 6.3
Pros: Being able to prepare food Friendly staff at check in and check out
Cons: Uncomfortable couch - it is a sofa bed but uncomfortable to sit on
Good 6.0
Pros: Family comfort
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.3
Pros: Convenient and homey and it met our group's needs.
Good 7.0
Pros: The location is great, near Uluru and Kata Tjuta, our main destinations. Great that we could use the facilities in the whole resort - pools, restaurants etc and charge meals to the room. The ability to cook since this was an apartment rather than a hotel room.
Good 6.7
Pros: The size of the rooms, the location, the
Cons: Check in was a nightmare. It was a bad time with two flights and several buses arriving at once but we had to wait 2hrs for our room to be ready even though we only arrived 15minutes prior to the checkin time. The desk was understaffed for influxes like that, and at a location where the hotel owns the whole town and would definitely be aware of arrivals I did not see that as an acceptable standard.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The Apartment was to the standard expected.

Good 6.8
Pros: Location, rooms were nice and spacious
Cons: Overpriced, highly disorganized restaurant with poor food quality.
Good 6.5
Pros: Rooms were clean and a good size. Housekeeping was tip top.
Cons: The black flys were very annoying and difficult to get away from.
Okay 4.8
Pros: Location Quality of tours
Cons: Room was not properly cleaned, patio was a disgrace - needed power washed, paint, decent furniture
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Lovely spacious room. Great air con in extreme clinate
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.0
Pros: The location to ayres rock
Cons: This is one very expencive chain of hotels all the hotels in ayres rock are owned by one company so thay have got you where thay want you pay or go hungry pay or die if thurst.got yah
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We stayed in a room with a view of Uluru.. It was fantastic.
Cons: Having to wait for our room for checkin.
Good 6.3
Pros: The hotel is well located, and provides a good range of facilities, and overall we enjoyed our brief stay. The accommodation is spread over a fairly wide area, so some walking between restaurant or bar and your room is required. The whole resort is eye-wateringly expensive, but the Desert Gardens seems to offer the best balance between price and quality, and the extra cost of a room with a view of the Rock was well worth it.
Cons: Rather indifferent staff compared to almost every other hotel we have stayed at in Australia.
Okay 5.3
Pros: The hotel gardens were great and appropriate for central Australia. They made the hotel more private.
Okay 5.3
Pros: Lovely pool area, great landscaping with native plants. Comfortable room. Restaurant staff pleasant and efficient. Delicious food - though alcohol very expensive.
Cons: Reception staff quite distant and cool. The air conditioner was odd - came on when you left the room and off when you inserted your key on return making for over-warm nights. Internet only available in the foyer and expensive. Whole resort owned by the one company so no competition and everything very expensive. A room service plate was on the patio outside the room next to us when we arrived - and was still there three days later even though I had reported it to one of the staff.the second day.
Okay 5.3
Pros: Excellent views of Uluru. Good hotel rooms. Facility, compared to rooms, could do with some renovation to bring it into the 21st century.

Okay 5.7
Pros: Location it’s a big bucket list for most that want to see that type of beauty, but a 4-Star stay it is not—I don’t even think I saw more than 10% Aborigines and it’s on there land, I couldn’t understand that.
Cons: Almost everything, the help, the cleanliness, the obvious upselling and un accomodating service a single guy gets—might as well treat me like a pauper—from the dinner placement and glib responses. 10$ for a soda is one thing that smells like an obvious cash grab. If it wasn’t for the view and location—must would say they had enough!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Just loved the Hotel. We felt that we had certainly picked the best from the Resort ones. Each day we went out into the heat it was wonderful to come home to such a lovely welcoming hotel..Breakfast were beautiful, staff so helpful.Couldn't fault it....Because it is expensive in this area it is wise to get a good offer.Resort has a 20 minute shuttle bus to all of the Hotels.....A bbq at the Pioneer Hotel was our favourite with a great singer each night about 8pm.We were upgraded to a Spa room as it was our Ruby Anniversary. So was wonderful to arrive with this and a bottle of Champs on Ice complimentary,,,,,,,,spoilt .Uluru was wonderful, every Australian should go. Can't believe we took so long to get there, great experience
Good 6.0
Cons: $25 per day charge for internet use and could not access from my room.
Good 6.3
Pros: Great location and facilities. Dinner at the restaurant was one of the best we've had this trip.
Cons: No internet in room. Wireless in lounges, but apparently the transmitter for the wireless only reaches the rooms nearest to reception. There were also a lot of bugs inside the hotel, but that appears to be a seasonal matter due to the extra heavy rains this year.
Okay 5.3
Pros: Resort manager addressed our complaints to our satisfaction.
Cons: No plug provided for jacuzzi and staff unable to locate a correctly-sized spare one because housekeeping staff made themselves unavailable 24/7. Housekeeping staff stripped the room before checkout time and took all soaps away before we had our shower. Showers over bathtubs made access awkward. Reception staff did not advise us that disabled parking was available closer to the rooms.
Good 7.0
Pros: Beautiful setting. Good food. helpful staff

Good 6.0
Pros: Staff was good.
Cons: There are only about five hotels in the area, so there is not much competition. So you're going to pay a lot more than you would in other cities.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Very friendly staff and rooms were always clean with a beautiful view of the rock at the lookout!
Good 7.7
Pros: Price & location near uluru. Nothing cheap on site though..but not surprising.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: In one sense, it is very good, that construction and development is prohibited any further in the Uluru area, for conserving sacred Anangu land. On the other hand, it makes for a captive consumer segment, with the Pioneer lodge dormitories the only affordable option under 40 dollars in the Ayer's Rock resort complex. Everything is basic. A/C was definitely appreciated. The December rains caused flooding all over the resort. The staff was always helpful and friendly. Grocery store nearby was very convenient.
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Beds were uncomfortable bunk beds. Shower was filthy with mold on tiles. Toilet stopped up after single use. Young, poorly trained staff. I get that we're a captive audience but 270 AUD a night for a room with bunk beds is just highway robbery, however you look at it.
