Noisy hotel, rooms dirty, bed never done but the breakfast was good and the staff a bit kind
We loved the palazzo greco. It is a fantastic new hotel. Stylish and total clean rooms, an amazing designer bathroom!!! The breakfast fast not that big but ok. (Bread, jam, honey, cereals, cheese, ham, tomatoes, eggs, cake, melon, fresh juice, milk and coffee) The room had a new small kitchen with dishes and refrigerator. The pool was nice, too. The best hotel in agia galini The air conditioning was not working really good. It was slow and not very cold.
Probably the nicest hotel in Agia Galini. Very nice room with an astonishing view. Very nice breakfast. Very friendly and helpful owners No cooking equipment provided in the apartment
Good standard of fittings in the room, including good shower which we have found to be rare in Crete. Good location with great view and close to restaurant area of Agia Galini. Relatively small room with little sound insulation.
The location & view from the pool is excellent & the staff were very friendly Bed was quite hard but the staff provided additional softer mattresses. The lighting in the bathroom was a bit harsh & uncomplimentary!
it's a normal hotel with a beautiful view Not so good price/quality ratio.
Stunning views. The rooms are simple but well decorated. The place where it is located is really nice. I booked for 3 night through booking.com but couldn't make the three days together so had to do 2 different reservations with two different rooms and differents prices. The most expensive room was not available so we were given a room for the 3 nights, which was great so that we didn't have to move. I didn't like that we were charged two prices: 95€ and 75€ for the same room. Very unfair!!
The Palazzo Grecco was a beautiful hotel. It was a pleasure to stay there. The room was delightful with matching furniture and the standard of cleanliness excellent. The view from our room was spectacular. There was nothing about the Hotel we did not like during our stay, the only improvements we would suggest if that it would have nice to have some more comfortable chairs to enjoy the view from our terrace, and it would have been nice to have been able to buy drinks and snacks.
lovely rooms, good power shower, really nice place
The rooms were brightly decorated, the staff were extremely friendly and the location was perfect. Just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The kitchenette could have been stocked slightly better. There was not enough cutlery for two people to eat. Nor were there utensils for the fryingpan. A toaster would have been nice.
Excellent price / quality: cosy hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast buffet.
10 points for 3 persons in a 60-euro room, 20 euros per person. Simple, but everything is there, the beach 3 minute-walk away. I would also like to mention that the ceilings in the rooms were high, I like that. We got the sea, the sun and a different breakfast every day for that price!
The friendliness, warm welcome, locality, extreme helpfulness from owners, hospitality, surroundings - superb place to stay. The fact that it was family run made all the difference as it was more personal. Perhaps if we need to give negative, although the shower was adequate it was very small.
Nice pool area Located a short walk from beach and town
Nice atmosphere, sweet owners, beautiful garden, breakfast is served in a beautiful veranda in the garden, very nice traditional-style decoration. It is a perfect place if you are looking for a simple, sweet, small, family owned place for relaxing holidays. Only very basic hotel facilities are available but everything you find there, is well-cared.
Sunningdale Hotel is a quiet place close to the beach, within walking distance (15 min) of the center of Agia Galini. The surroundings were a bit smelly, especially in the morning on the terrace while we were having breakfast. The room with "sea view" is not worth the extra money!
quiet, friendly athmosphere
Nice sized rooms, good location and services.
The owner Vasili was so welcoming and kind. This was our first night in Crete and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was a perfect host and looked after us very well and told us a lot about the area and surroundings.
The hotel itself is fairly basic by U.S. standards -- but the owner's hospitality (and wonderful breakfast) made the stay. The hotel is in a quiet area just a few minutes walk from the beach and a 10 minute walk to town where there are great places to eat and shop. We were there too early in the season (early April) for the pool to be open and the free internet was down the day we were there.
A small, clean, quiet family-run hotel in Agia Galini, a short scenic walk from the beach and little fishing port below. Close to path leading to walks over headlands. Cleaned daily. No pool or restaurant, but we didn't want one. A rather steep walk for the really unfit, but we didn't mind.
The owner is very friendly. The rooms were clean and had specific look. For example in our kitchen on the wall there were beautiful, colorful and fresh flowers, like in teh spring. Everything was superb
Quiet hotel in the village with nice rooms and nice staff
Excellent service! None!
Nice clean basic room. Linen changed every 3 days, very polite & friendly owners. Breakfast, although adequate, became a bit boring after several days, but for the price paid, one could not expect too much.
Clean and proper hotel with adequate correspondence between value and price. Would not stay for many nights unless I have a car as it is quite distant from the beach. Read the instructions on how to find it carefully. The sign is very small.
the views from the hotel room onto the se and the mountains as well and of course for this money you will never find anything better
Good value basic small hotel. Clean room and fairly good continental breakfast. Ideal location for the restaurants and shops of this small charming town. Friendly German manager. Was able to park free right outside hotel. Glad we stayed port side of town rather than beach side as far more restaurants and shops near the port. Not very good views as bigger buildings accross the road block out most of the sea view. Steep paths and steps down to to centre of village/town. Would probably select a hotel with a better view if visit village again.
Room well furnished with characteristic elements. Beautiful little terrace. Direction very kind and helpful. Good breakfast.
The seaview was great, the staff very friendly, we enjoyed the private terrace and the peaceful atmosphere. Good value for money ! The breakfast was poor and the hotel is high up the hill (if you are sportive or if you have a car : no problem). For elder people or small children it could be too heavy.
The family who run the hotel are very friendly, welcoming people. The breakfasts were basic but enough.Rooms cleaned daily and great views from the balcony.Nothing fancy, good value for money. The shared balcony can be a nuisance if you have noisy neighbours.
Hotel Akteon is only 2-3 min from the beach. Magnificent sea view to the Libean sea!!! Very friendly owners! Very clean rooms with air-condition,wi-fi, refrigerator.Continental breakfast on the veranda under the wines, among beautiful flowers. Hotel Akteon is highly recommended.
Is the perfect choice for a cheap vacation: clean rooms, wonderful sea view, kind staff, simple and abundant breakfast. Furthermore every room has air conditioning and free wi-fi Internet access. I hope to come back again to Hotel Akteon.
Everything was perfect in Hotel Akteon. The owners were very friendly. The room very clean. Excellent sea view. Very nice breakfast on the terrace, with sea view. I was only 2 minutes away from the beach. Really perfect choise. I will go again in Hotel Akteon.
We liked the atmosphere alot. Lovely people and very relaxed place.
