Passengership Avanti

A unique bed and breakfast located in the city of Amsterdam, Passengership Avanti is exactly what it sounds like – a ship that floats within one of the city’s famed canals. The hotel puts guests within easy reach of most of what they might want to see and do in the city, as well. The National Maritime Museum is within five minutes of the hotel on foot, and guests with children will appreciate the proximity of the NEMO Science Museum. Within easy reach of the hotel are Dam Square, and the Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum, too. The Rembrandt House, Central Station, and other destinations are also close by.

Guests will find a total of just 15 rooms within the Passengership Avanti, and all of them are traditional boat cabins. Most feature a porthole for light and air, as well as a washbasin and a wardrobe for storing clothing. Double rooms feature bunk beds. Note that the bathroom is shared, but some rooms do have private showers available. Toiletries are provided. Note that because the ship is actually anchored at a dock, it does rock with the motion of the waves. Guests prone to motion sickness should be advised.

The Passengership Avanti offers a few basic amenities. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the ship. There is also a bar available where guests can grab a drink and relax. Breakfast is included with each stay and is served daily. The ship also offers a terrace for relaxation. For guests in need, there is parking. There is also a library and a TV area offered.
