location of hotel.
We arrive at the hotel after paying for a twin room to only be told there was no rooms available as it was fully booked and two 21year old males had to share a double bed. The room was unclean with a broken shower head. Hotel staff were unorganised; I put a deposit down on a plug converter which I was then told there’s nothing to show I’ve left a deposit. The manager doesn’t work weekends and nothing can be resolved without a manger which isn’t good for a weekend party. Yet to hear back from the email I sent.
The position close to the central station The coffee machine and coffee at disposal
The lights a bit poor to me but fair enough The cold water in the shower
The location is the only thing desirable about this hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful when sorting out our problem.
We had several issues with our rooms, there were building works taking place while we stayed and the room felt half renovated. Our room stank of damp and luckily the night staff changed our room, but the room had no windows and lead to an unlocked door into the main boiler room of the building - completely unsafe and unsuitable. We were only refunded for one room for one night, but I can't help but feel completely dissatisfied with my stay. If we spent longer than two nights there, I would have seriously considered changing hotel.
There was building works happening the reception and stairways had a real bad odour and the lift did not work. Arrived one day late due to issues with flights and Coronavirus and the hotel was not accommodating
