Kudos to the Manager and also to the other wonderful staff including but not limited to Wati & Raj among others. I highly recommend the Hotel and the Majestic Hotel experience!
Cons: Truly no issues at all, no negatives in any way!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Historical Town People in Melaka are very pleasant Local food around the Hotel is excellent
Cons: Blood stains and Urine stains on the Mattress Protector (Photos Available) Clearly a great disappointment Only 2 capsules for the coffee machine ... they used to put 4 (for 2 people) Why so stingy ? Bed is getting "really tired" General standard of the Hotel is going down .. Not worth the money ... Very Sad Food at the Hotel was AWFUL ! Salted fish not de-salted could not eat it (We asked the Chef and the Head waiter to try, they could not eat it either. They kindly offered to change for another fish (Very kind of them) When the other fish arrived it had been cooked but the inside of the fish had not been cleaned ! We both felt like vomiting and we left the dinning room ...What a disappointment The management did not charge the dinner (thankfully) but the staff clearly have no idea what to do when the boss is not around
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff at breakfast buffet was 5 star service and the frontline.......the birthday decoration was 5 star.....the cake was good. Hot Chinese tea (welcome drink ) and evening desert was good make evey penny worth the money...
Cons: No pool kids...and the housekeeping don't have the 5 star service..as they are foreigners....have them been trained...they are not working at 3 star hotel...my room 1001..the aircond was not cold at all..we have to use the fan...

6.0 Good
Pros: The common area on the roof is a good place to hang out. Location is close to the famous attractions.
Cons: We booked 2 queen sized bed via booking.com however when we arrived the owner told us we had only got one bed - it took ages to convince the guy that we had paid for separate beds even after repeatedly showing my booking confirmation. He eventually gave us another bed but a single instead of a double and the next day tried to charge us for it, even tho we originally had paid for 2 doubles! Also very hard mattresses and poor bathroom facilities.

Pros: The ambience is amazing, and if the facilities properly worked, I would have rated it way higher. Cause it is a really nice place, the bedcabins are great, good lounge areas and the breakfast is amazing! But toilets and showers not working for multiple evenings is a problem (the owner did what he could with buckets of water).
Cons: Facilities not working properly for multiple nights.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I would highly recommend to stay at ringo's - especially for solo traveler! It's easy to make contacts and new friends in the common area. The owner is an amazing guy and so helpful. Many volunteers work at the hostel which creates a great atmosphere. I would always come back!

Pros: I like the cleanliness of the room and how they will provide you the best service a hotel could provide out there in Melaka.
Cons: Maybe the parking,it’s quite hard to get a parking when you stay there during weekends or on long holidays. Pros: I like the property in the image rather than in real. Not really up to expectation.
Cons: Breakfast so little & not tasty. Very close walls whereby you can hear others talking and walking around. Close to mainroad so we can hear d vehicle sounds till late night and started early morning again. Overall its not worth the amount we paid.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Did not get the breakfast at the hotel as we ate out. But I do believe they provide a buffet breakfast for guests.

The hotel is clean, the deco is beautiful, yummy breakfast, and again, superb treatment from the staff. My room while a tad small was amazing! Love the bath tub! I’m more than happy to recommend this place to anyone. Get the bigger room. You won’t regret it.
Cons: If you want to be connected all the time during your stay/vacation at the hotel, the WiFi is not high speed. You’d be better off vacationing at your office. What I didn’t personally like about the property? My holiday isn’t long enough. I will be coming back TSH! Love ya!!

Pros: Size of room. Cleanliness of the room Spacious toilet / shower area.
Cons: No room service. Unable to have a la carte lunch
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was nice and spacious. It had a cold minibar. The bedsheets were clean.
Cons: Arrived at the hotel for checking in then suddenly my daughter decided to throw up on me. I quickly asked for a plastic bag from the reception counter but they're too slow to understand the situation so I ended up having my daughter's vomit on half of my clothing as well as on my shoe and some landed on the floor. After receiving the access card to the room, I went up to check on the room and the toilet. There was a bunch of hair with dust on the shower floor so I had to rinse it off. The toilet roll was soaked but dried so I kinda find it disgusting to use. After a while, the water spray decided to leak and half of the toilet floor was wet. Mattress and pillow was too soft that it was sunken as soon as I lie on it. So I ended up putting the bolster on the pillow for better neck support.

Cons: Car park not sheltered, cars parked at disabled parking

Da Som Inn - Malacca - Bedroom
10
8.5 Excellent (224 reviews)
Overview Reviews
We are an art speciality boutique hotel at the centre of UNESCO’s world cultural heritage site. Strategically located at No. 28 Jalan Tukang Emas (Goldsmith Street) aka Harmony Street, Malacca, Malaysia. To truly reflect its harmony status, it is a diversified place of various settlements -Indian settlement (234 years old Sri Poyyatha Vinayagar Moorthi temple (1781), Malay settlement (267 years old Kampung Kling mosque (1748) and Chinese settlement (370 years old Cheng Hoon Teng temple (1645) on the same street within 1 to 2 minutes walking distance. Not to leave out the European settlement nearby (504 Years A Famosa Fortress (1511), Christ Church (1753), Stadthuys (1650). Our hotel is an old but well maintained building within the Dutch Settlement area (trace back to year 1611) with unique 200 feet long, thick wall and underground sewerage pipes. It has witnessed the history of Malacca Empire and the modern world. Although it has been refurbished, renovated and re-renovated, yet and surprisingly, it was a lovely home, a trade centre, a factory before it was turned into a hotel. Built with 3 air well areas, you can enjoy any of the hotel rooms (with windows) which are air conditioned and fan equipped. Comfortable duvet, pillows and bed will embrace you upon your check in. Free wifi is also available. A variety of breakfast will be served on each different day while American breakfast is always available upon request. 24 hours 7 days a week of free flow of coffee, tea, RO water, milk, juice, cereals and biscuits are ready to serve you at anytime even at midnight or in the wee hours. Outside the hotel, you will see a different world of modern marvel with delicious nyonya and local food such as cendol or durian puff at famous Jonker Street aka Chinatown (next to Harmony street) and world of ancient art with museums and art galleries at Heeren Street (next to Jonker street). Let’s also enjoy the thrill of visiting the old A Famosa fortress, Stadthuys, ruins of St Paul’s church (1521), Queen Elizeberth fountain or enjoy and stop by at modern Hard Rock Café or the Geographer Café for a drink. All within 5 minutes walking distance from this strategically located hotel. So....Let’s relax and enjoy, refresh and replenish!

Pros: Comfort bed and nice decoration.
Cons: Car parking is a bit callenging.
7.0 Good
Pros: Excellent location that's very close to all the attractions and good places to eat, without it being too close where it'd be too noisy. The hotel had a good vibe and feel to it. The design gave a sense of calmness. The room was a good size, with fairly a comfortable bed, good lighting, a good number of power points, a TV with a decent number of channels (and good reception). The internet speed was quite good too.
Cons: The room could do with better cleaning. The toilet seat seemed to be cleaned a little bit carelessly, with some dirt that I would rather not inspect too closely. The cups and glasses were also a bit dirty (so we had to wash them ourselves) Our wardrobe had a rather unpleasant smell. Although we got a room with a window, the view was that of a back alleyway filled with garbage.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, spacious
Cons: Only 1 card per room, breakfast choices limited
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was silent. We slept well

Cons: Check in time is 1500h. I booked 15 rooms. I checked in around 1530h. Until then only 12 rooms are available. 3 rooms I have waited with my friends for about 20 minutes. Some rooms towels were not enough. 1 room the shower was not safe to use. From 1 room, the arrow showing the 'Kiblat', Muslims direction of Mecca fell onto my friend. Please rectify or correct them.

Cons: Can be further improved; the water heater is old, have to try it on your own without any directions, there are noises from the neighborhood, especially dogs barking. (If you're easily being disturbed while sleeping)
