7.9 Good
Pros: Beautiful pool and grounds. The horse back riding was wonderful. Loved the breakfast and dining rooms.
Cons: The rooms were carpeted, which is weird for such a humid area. Our room smelled bad, but we couldn’t figure out what it was exactly. It was quite expensive so the rooms staleness was unfortunate.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful soroundings
Cons: Lack of choice at dinner
7.1 Good
Pros: Facilities anf staff were fantastic and very helpful
Cons: The place is nearby a swamp. it was plenty of mosquitoes/insects that have left by arms with at least 10-15 bites, even though not hurting. However my wife woke up in the morning with arms and legs full of injuries, she could not stop scratching, and even now after about 10 days and use of ointments, have still crusts on the body. A real pity, because the place and the staff were lovable, friendly and very helpful.

Pros: perfect
Cons: Non
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I just love everything about this magical place.
Cons: I can’t think of a single thing!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the room was great and the grounds were very nice. When dining was available the food was excellent.
Cons: The timing of our visit apparently put us in the low season, though this was not reflected in the rates, though it meant that dinner was not available every evening, and no lunches were served. Additionally, though we were charged full price for breakfast, on the days there was no evening meal the breakfast was limited. Because of the isolated location, I would have preferred more meal choices. The bicycles, which were fun, but definitely need a major upgrade. Not all were in working order.

Pros: Staying at Mas St. Florent has been more than a wonderful experience - it has been a privilege. Gilbert, Oliver et la famille are simply wonderful, considerate and thoroughly dedicated hosts. The Mas St Florent is very lovingly and tastefully furnished. Spacious beautiful rooms. Excellent home made food and a breakfast that leaves nothing more to wish for.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The proprietor was warm and welcoming and helpful in every particular. The property is furnished beautifully but comfortably, with a collection built over a lifetime. Breakfast was truly incredible and served in a lovely garden. The property exceeded our expectations by far and was a respite from a week onLondon and Paris.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our week in a beautiful country home, large sumptuous rooms, comfortable beds, quality bed linen. Huge delicious breakfast. Gilbert Oliver and all the team made us feel like family arriving home. A wonderful experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house was a beautiful French country mansion with its own charm. Antiques, Provence decoration, breakfast in the lovely garden, two big dogs, the small pool at the backyard... all were just wonderful for our family of four with 2 kids. Above all, Gillert made the stay so special with recommendations on local attractions and such hospitality. He is simply the best host I have ever met! It was a pity that I could stay there only for 2 nights. Would come back.
Cons: Nothing.

Hôtel de l'Amphithéâtre - Arles - Bedroom
3
9.1 Excellent (1,086 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hôtel de l'Amphithéâtre in Arles (Arles City Centre), you'll be steps from Camargue Regional Nature Park and 4 minutes by foot from Arles Amphitheatre. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent and within walking distance of all the major Arles sites and the market as well. The staff was helpful and check in and check out were easy.
Cons: Parking is at the main city parking garage. There is then a 10-15 minute walk to the hotel (much of it uphill). The hotel will give you a discounted parking pass to leave the garage the next day (and you can stay in the garage after you check out for the day if you're doing more sightseeing).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ambulance and warm hospitality! Very beautifully received!
Cons: Nothing!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff at checkin and checkout was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, calm and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The property is beautiful. The location is perfect to explore Arles by foot. The amphitheater and the arena are just minutes away. Cafés, restaurants, bars, bakeries, pharmacies, super markets are all reachable within five minutes. Parking was easy to find on the Boulevard just across the theater. Price for value was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, right in the old town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was truly lovely and breakfast (with an additional charge) was very good.
Cons: It would have been helpful to know that full breakfast (with cheese and egg I believe) must be ordered in advance.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Super location, once you've found it in first place. Offered a choice of rooms! Pleasantly decorated in room and throughout.
Cons: Not only couldn't connect to hotel wifi, had trouble with phone connection too. Quite a few things in vicinity closed in February.

6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great. We also received discounts for some of the sites we visited by showing them a wrist band the hotel gave us.
Cons: I had paid for un upgrade before arriving in order to get two (2) Queen or two Full size beds. We were given a room with one full size bed and one twin bed. Secondly, We were informed that the air conditioning was "finished". I don't know if that meant that all air conditioners were broken or shut off for the season as it did apply to all the rooms. Consequently the room was stuffy. There are no screens on the windows so we didn't want to leave the window open at night and risk bug bites. It was October and cool but the Relative Humidity was in the high nineties (95+%).
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, it was close to everything. The staff were very helpful and we were able to print our train tickets in the lobby. The room was large and the beds comfortable. I really liked the bathroom, very clean and the shower was big for France.
Cons: There were only stairs up to our room, I'm glad we did not have heavy suitcases.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent, humorous and kind staff.Breakfast is delicious.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nicely placed in the center of town. Loved the room and the historic feel of the place.
Cons: Toilet space was cramped. A bit difficult to get to (GPS / Google Maps may take you on impassible roads) and no real parking on the premises - long walk to public parking.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Close to train station and city center.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Fantastic location
Cons: Noisy from room above and smell of humidity.
6.0 Good
Pros: Lovely room and great bathroom; plenty of sockets, very good Wi-fi. Breakfast was great unless you are coeliac (see below). Whole building has a lovely old fashioned atmosphere. Location is excellent, accessible from the station and in the heart of the old town. There was a problem with the main light in our room which was fixed quickly and courteously.
Cons: Our room (4) was right on the street and each morning at about 5.30 the bin lorry zoomed past my right ear. It also didn’t feel very private so we generally kept the window shut. The hotel didn’t provide any gluten free bread but eventually produced some crackers which were tasteless and unappetising. A long way short of other hotels which we have stayed in.
Hôtel du Cloître - Arles - Bedroom
5
9.1 Excellent (542 reviews)
Overview Reviews
On the square, a hundred-year-old Paulownia. This tall, single tree insulates Le Cloître and casts its kind shade over groups of friends gathered at tables underneath. Inside, the air is soft, cool, calm. We are struck by its geometry. We slide down its corridors as if on skates. We can hear the local school in the distance. Everywhere the city is bustling, but then the uproar fades when it reaches the stones. The design and colors breathe new life into this space. Should we have a reading break or a coffee break, or should we have a drink on the rooftop instead? At Le Cloître, unwinding is organized. Comfort is designed to inspire. The library is made for escape. The fluidity of service is conceived for well-being. This time of calm ends in moments of sharing, in revelations. It soon becomes a necessity to stay at this hotel without stars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful design throughout, very comfy beds, good room size, excellent breakfast, helpful staff!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Le Cloître is in a fabulous location, right in the historic centre of Arles. The city's historic sites are a short walk away as are local artisan shops, restaurants and bakeries. The hotel decoration is fun with a fresh, modern interior that mixes with its heritage features and offers a unique place to stay. The room size and bathroom are also great, which makes your stay very comfortable. The hotel also offers private and very secure parking close by which is so useful. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer and spent more time there.
Cons: It would have been useful if the hotel and staff offered some more information about local spots to visit (e.g. dinner options, places to get lunch or a snack) on check-in. There are a few maps and flyers available in the lobby space but sharing local knowledge is so useful and appreciated when you visit a new place as it supplements your own research about the city.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hôtel Du Cloître is located in central Arles and everything is a quick walk so you won't need your car again until you leave unless you make a day trip out of town.
Cons: There is no air conditioning but fans are provided so in very hot weather you may not be comfortable. Parking is provided A few blocks away but is located in a very secure garage.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The food was exceptional. Wish we had had more time to explore the town
Cons: Parking issues Parking was difficult as this hotel is in an area of old town without cars for the most part. We certainly could have used better instructions on where to park and how to access the hotel before arriving.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Evening noise on the street.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, good location inside the walls. Parking nearby.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Everything was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, helpful staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. And we love the spa!
Cons: We'd have liked a tea tray in the room...but we could order it via room service from the bar any time, so not a disaster.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location. Shady garden.
Cons: Not that I didn’t like the room, but there was nothing special about the room or hotel. I was expecting a more conventional hotel, but it is a very busy place with a small reception desk and busy food counter a couple of steps away. Popular with the public who sit outside at tables, so there is endless movement and bustle. The self service breakfast is good, but dislike having to squeeze orange juice...messy. Staff on whole very good and helpful.Interesting spa.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location Space Staff Food
7.1 Good
Pros: Amazing location
Cons: The rooms were very cold, the central heating wasn’t working. We ask for an electric heater , but we didn’t get it. To bad cause it is really a nice hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and location
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Located between Roman Arena and Roman Theater. How could you do better than that? Staff was helpful. Front desk checked on possibilities for transportation due to wildcat railroad workers strike and made reservations ahead of our arrival at a superb restaurant less than a block away. Restaurant was fully booked when we arrived, so reservations were needed.
Cons: We did not get as much time touring as we wanted, but that was due to the railroad strike, not anything the hotel did.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Wonderful staff & very helpful .. charming & cool ! Would definitely come back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful and friendly. Delicious breakfast. Wonderful spa overlooking Roman amphitheater.

Hôtel du Musée - Arles - Building
7
9.0 Excellent (588 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Du Musée in Arles (Arles City Centre), you'll be steps from Camargue Regional Nature Park and 5 minutes by foot from Arles Amphitheatre. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and a library.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, great hosts and easy walk to wonderful restaurants. Fabulous breakfast too!
Cons: Great location but a bit of a challenge driving to it and parking.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect for exploring the old city of Arles. You can walk to most of the attractions in the old medieval city. Hotel is in a very cool Old building with many patios and courtyards. We were there in Nov so not many tourists. Super fun and low key and no crowds. Staff very nice and speak English. Loved how many French also use the hotel.
Cons: My husband would have liked a bathtub (I know that isn’t common in Europe) and some more protein options for breakfast (he doesn’t do eggs or yogurt).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location, the helpfulness of the staff and the two level courtyard at the hotel where tables were provided to enjoy our own bottle of wine, cheese and whatever else we choose for lunch.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We really liked the location. It was a short walk from the train station and in the old part of Arles, close to everything. The hotel is very pretty and well maintained.
Cons: We were just sorry that the weather was not good during our stay so we were not able to have breakfast on the lovely outdoor patio.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was very charming and clean. The common areas are open, airy and very pleasant. We loved all the plants. Breakfasts were also good, it's a superior continental with meat, cheese and hard or soft boiled eggs available as well as excellent bread and pastry choices, juices and as many coffees as you want. Location was great.
Cons: There are a lot of stairs and while this did not bother us it might be difficult for some and you need to be able to carry your luggage up the steps.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in a quiet part of town, close to the river. It was very easy to get to the attractions and train station. There were many restaurants to choose from for meals. The hotel is in a lovely old building. Breakfast was varied and delicious.
Cons: There was a beautiful garden courtyard we longed to have breakfast in, but the weather wasn’t conducive. Certainly not the hotel’s fault....just was disappointing.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and authentic building
Cons: Nothing really
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little hotel walking distance to train station and many visitor attractions
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern room. Loved frig and safe in room. Nice bathroom. We were able to find the hotel on foot easily from bus station because of the great signs posted around town directing us to hotel.
Cons: Wish it had elevator. Steps are tough.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love this hotel.. old style and perfect position
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our rooms were a good size with comfortable beds and a large hot shower. Our room had a view onto the pool, which was small but great for a dip on a hot day. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good.
Cons: Actually getting to the hotel is difficult as you need to be buzzed through a bollard in the street a distance from the hotel. The hotel had asked us to phone them but we didn’t have good mobile reception. When you get to the hotel they park your car in the garage which takes 5 cars
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice old French hotel. Everything was charming about this small hotel.
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Lovely pool area to have breakfast
Cons: Very old bathroom and not good shower over bath quite dangerous. Very old. Beautiful old ceramic handbasin but taps did not protrude enough so when turned on water went everywhere.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and room, friendly staff, nice pool.
Cons: The shower was pretty weak and would go cold randomly.

Pros: We loved our gorgeous deluxe room, the refreshing pool and the beautiful grounds . It is rare to find a hotel in France with air conditioning. I was happy with the staff and they were friendly and helpful. The shower was delightful and superior toiletries. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and everything was clean. The hotel was in walking distance to everything we wanted to do in Arles. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
Cons: My complaint was I was overpriced for a plate of fruit (I only liked one of the fruits offered). I wish there was room service offered late in the evening.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The pool, considering the stay was during an unprecedented heat wave. The breakfast, beautiful. The staff, lovely. Historic mansion, but very stylishly renovated. And the garden! And the scent of rose blossom!
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff were helpful and Proffessional .
Cons: Tired decor. Think it’s had it’s day.

Pros: Ancient but modernized apartment, very good size bedroom, complete bathroom, a nice well equipped kitchen, and the location was excellent, close to the bridge and at the top of Rue de la Liberte, close to everywhere.
Cons: Parking was a little too far, but it did not matter in the end.

Pros: central
Cons: poor lighting! only 2 cups for tea drinking and espresso coffee cups. no herbs spices or oil from any previous guests so cooking would involve buying a number of basic items. Somewhat cramped with a bed and chairs in the living space. parking is 20 euros per day at a carpark over the river. better to stay a little further out as Arles is a compact place and easy walking

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ecerything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hosts who were extremely friendly, welcoming and very helpful. It was a pleasure to deal with them. Having only taken over the business a few weeks ago, they are already planning for the future. We wish them the very best. The swimming pool was magnificent and the bar, dining room area looks great.
Cons: Air conditioning needs upgrading, but the hosts are only 3 weeks into ownership of the business.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It is an original hotel with nice corridors remembering of a theater or fight theater. Never understood the use of animals for fun but feels interesting getting to your room in a nice chilly AC through those corridors. The place is nicely located at the beginning of the delta and 10 minutes from fantastic Arles. In the evenings you can have a nice wine at the hotel's bar. The hosts are really nice. Everything you need in the room but remember: you're in a delta, a beautiful one so go see the flamingos, horses and enjoy the nature. The pool looked nice but wasn't for us, however it looks great with all the garden and architecture.
Cons: Mosquitos but is delta. I am also quite sensitive. Despite three different sets of chemicals applied still felt I needed to have that in mind and felt spoiled by all the comfort in the middle of this amazing place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An amazing time capsule in the 60's. Really worth staying there. Will come back
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly owner and truly exceptional architecture from the 70s. Very nice that they have kept the rooms in authentic style.
Cons: Slight sewage smell in one of the hallways
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location it is 25 so far from Saint Marie de la Mer, but this hotel is family friendly with pool, friendly staff and the owners are very kind and answered all our questions. This Hotel is shick and look like 60's & 70's and the architecture is very nice... the breakfast is good for the price and also has a nice view from the restaurant in the hotel and pool.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed here before. It is an amazing place and a must for anybody remotely interested in architecture. Built in the 60’s by people with a really sharp eye for fashion. Imagine Space 1999 or any Gerry Anderson production crossed with The Crossroads Motel and you might be in the ball park. We think the building is superb. There is a pool and breakfast is served on site. A young couple have just bought this and could not be doing more to make it a success. We will stay here again. Make a point of doing so yourself. Easy journey by car or motorbike to the seaside or town
Cons: Some of the bedrooms could probably do with an update likewise the bathrooms. (But not at the expense of the lovely building.) It is a bit isolated as there is currently no onsite restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is really cool! Designed by the architect Armand Pellier (sculpteur, designer and architect) in 1965, the hotel was intended to look like a sculpture, fully integrated in its environment: the Camargue. Not just stunning, walking into this hotel immediately sets you back in time with its extremely curated original design. The staff is extremely friendly and super helpful and the hotel is spotless!! Highly recommend!
Hôtel Régence - Arles - Building

8.7 Excellent (416 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hôtel Régence, you'll be centrally located in Arles, steps from Camargue Regional Nature Park and 5 minutes by foot from Arles Amphitheatre. Featured amenities include a computer station, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The position is great, in front of the river. Free parking is 300m away. The room is clean and welcoming, very warm and cozy. The staff is friendly and available. Very good breakfast. I would choose this hotel again.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was great. Free parking was a five minute walk away.
Cons: The room was not much bigger than the bed. My wife and I had to maneuver around each other just to get to the bath. Everything was the least that could be done, no hot water for coffee or tea, not even a second card key. The walls are so thin that we sometimes thought someone was entering our room when they were actually in the next room.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location is great for visiting all the sights in Arles. It is by the Rhone and just few minutes walk to 2 of the Van Gogh paintings sites. Nearby there is a small fresh produce market in the morning.
Cons: No tea / coffee making facilities in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are very friendly and so helpful. The location is great, nice view over the river. Quiet too and close to the station/gare. It must be the cleanest hotel I have stayed in! Breakfast was fresh and very good.
Cons: Couldn’t have been better. Tip: Ask for the Arles historic pass. It gets you in all the historical sites for one price. Buy at the sites.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was wonderful; he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and enjoy our trip. Location; we had a view of the river and it was absolutely fantastic.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast and reasonably priced. Great location within walking distance to the train station and right across from a trail along the Rhone River. Hotel staff were very helpful with providing directions to our next destination.
Cons: Room did not have air conditioner and it was rather warm overnight.

Best rooms in Arles

Overview Reviews
As early as the Middle Ages L’Arlatan was recognised as being Arles’ most lavish hôtel particulier - a grand townhouse - and now, thanks to the exceptional vision of artist Jorge Pardo, it is making an outstanding début on the modern stage. A gigantic 6000 square metres of mosaic now adorns the hotel with an explosion of colour, light and contemporary design. Each room and each doorway is a unique work of art; the almost two million fragments of mosaic tile used for the renovation were all handmade. The different buildings, whose central part is listed as a Monument Historique, are set around a magnificent courtyard with a majestic staircase and lounges boasting unrivalled charm. L’Arlatan welcomes you and takes you on an exceptional, magical journey through history, culture and the senses. Nestled in the historic centre of Arles, it is just a few minutes from the Place du Forum, the Roman amphitheatre (Les Arènes) and the Church of Saint Trophime.
6.4 Good
Pros: Everything was beautiful and interesting. Location was also good for access to the train.
Cons: The negative was that we could not connect to the internet. No one could help us get connected and my husband was quite frustrated about this. We did not have this problem at any other hotel on our two week trip. I also had some trouble booking on line until your web site showed up. Also, the online reply returned to me from the hotel was in French which delayed the booking process until your site appeared.
6.0 Good
Pros: Convenience to downtown Arles.
Cons: The location if driving is impossible. We literally wasted hours trying to get to their garage. We left early and rebooked a place outside of town as we used our car everyday for day trips.
6.0 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect for accessing all parts of Arles on foot which was good since once you manage to find a car park space in Arles you don't want to loose it! (car parking is a nightmare in Arles....)
Cons: On one day we did not get our room made up and queried this with the Front Desk who apologised profusely (advising the cleaning staff were new) sorted it immediately and offered us free drinks at the bar.
6.0 Good
Pros: The character of the hotel was fabulous and we liked it's central location although we did have difficulty finding it.
Cons: The service at breakfast was very slow and many tables were left uncleared.
6.4 Good
Pros: Good location but a bit difficult to find. Great pool facility for the kids.
Cons: Weak air conditioner.

Cons: nothing!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very central, excellent help from the owners. Super breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Emmanuelle and Georges were the most perfect hosts. They were so helpful in all ways. They actually went beyond what one might expect of proprietors of Bed and Breakfast houses.
Cons: Not Applicable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We definitely recommend this apartment, the owners are very nice and friendly people, they gave us a lot of advices and information. The apartment is situated it perfect location, nice and calm street but in the center of Arles with possibility of parking. Everything was the best, we felt really comfortable!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: One of the best city B&Bs we have ever done. The building is a restored 17th century Provence house in a pedestrian street right in the historic centre of Arles; spacious, comfortable, full of character and within easy walking distance everything you want to visit in the city. The hosts, Emmanuelle and Georges, were great. Very friendly, welcoming and more than willing to help in any way. They are also very knowlegeable about the area and provided us with loads of information on what to see and where to eat. What's more, they are really interesting to talk with on all sorts of subjects; we had several delightful conversations over long, extended breakfasts which all added to our experience of a city and area that we had not previously visited. Breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice of fruit, breads, juices, croissant, cheeses, home-made jams, eggs, etc. More than we could eat. Altogether, a delightful and memorable stay. Thank you Georges and Emmanuelle.

Pros: High quality room with nice couple that makes you feel welcome to Arles. Perfect starting point and ambiance for our cultural weekend.
Cons: No remarks.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Host are wonderful. They are so attentive and full of information. What a great resource in a new city you are visiting.
Cons: I did not like it, but everyone needs to know this is a 17th century home. The owners have updated with all modern conveniences, but this is a guest house not a hotel. We loved it but do know this.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the hosts were all about guest comfort and were as friendly and helpful as they could possibly be! former restaurant owners themselves, they offered a delicious and beautifully presented breakfast and were very helpful in recommending restaurants and/or reservations. they went above and beyond in their duties.
Cons: nothing

Pros: Emmanuelle and Georges warmly welcomed me and I was able to stay relaxed. There were many places to visit in Arles and nearby area. They know everything about Arles and Provence, and shared their experiences and informations with me on where to visit, what to buy, and where to eat. Thanks to them, I really enjoyed my short stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts are truly ambassadors for their city, they have great ideas for what to see not only in Arles but day trips. Arles is a fun and energetic city combining great art with stunning architecture. Our room was generous, very clean, nice bed, quiet and the entire house is decorated with cool art. The breakfasts were delicious and a great way to start the day. Also, very convenient to shops and restaurants. This will always be our first choice in Arles.

Pros: Perfect location although impossible to drive to; ended up parking and walking. Comfortable, large room. Lovely swimming pool. Very helpful staff.
Cons: Some of the facilities were a little tired and needed a refresh but generally everything was very good.

6.7 Good
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Bicycles available.
Cons: A bit pricey considering it’s outskirts location.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Simple & easy
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms with balcony and view over pool area. Area and car park are fenced off.
Cons: After booking the room in October (non-refundable) a message states that the pool is closed after Oct 1. This appeared not to be the case but pool closed (is covered) on cold or windy days. There is a fridge in the room (empty) but it turns off when you leave the room (connected to card socket switch). Stupid. There is nothing to do or buy in the (slightly run down) vicinity and you need to walk to the city centre (1.5 km) for everything unless you like Arab style shops.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was a great value for money. Since it was a winter time so we couldnt enjoy the swimming pool and beautiful garden part at all. Room is well equipped and bathroom was clean. Also I especially took a advantage of using bath-tub to relax after long driving day.
Cons: When we arrived to the door(parking entrance), the door bell didnt work. We had to stay around 10min trying without knowing that the bell was broken. Finally we entered with another guest of the hotel. Then when we were doing check-in, the reception guy just quickly comment that the bell is not working since been a while ; Little note on the door or quick message when booking is confirmed is necessary.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Secure large parking, needed this when in a hire car. Car parked outside front door, pool out back door! Amazing for the money. Short walk to arles centre, fantastic vibe, short drive to camargue national park, (wear mosquito repellent or cover up, mosquitos there are huge and hungry ha), national park amazing, maybe pack binoculars to see the lake. Lidl and MacDonald's and lecerc relatively close. Fridge in room handy too.
Cons: Na

The Jules César hotel & Spa in Arles was completely renovated and decorated by Christian Lacroix in 2014.Located in the Arles city center, you will experience true 5-star comfort. Formerly a 17th century Carmelitas convent this hotel offers 52 rooms, including 11 suites, a gourmet restaurant with terrace, outdoor heated pool close to the cloister gardens (open seasonally) and a registered CINQ MONDES spa.Arles is an ideal layover stop with its Roman architecture classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage site
6.3 Good
Pros: We liked the location. It was in the heart of town. The staff was very nice.
Cons: Cab drivers! They don't want to work. The hotel was dated with the most AWFUL decorating we have ever experienced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The design of the hotel is extremely beautiful!
Cons: The breakfast is a little bit poor for 5 stars hotel.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The Jules Cesar is located close to the Alycamps Roman Cemetery and within easy walking distance of Old Arles, with its cafes and restaurants. The building itself is a former convent, so is attractive with a lovely cloister and central herb garden. There's a pleasant garden area at the rear of the property, where the small pool is located.
Cons: Sadly, the hotel seems to be trading off past glories. Whilst the staff are very pleasant, the hotel itself feels nothing like a Five Star establishment. Our first room was poky and dark with a tiny window - and for reasons I will never understand, we had been placed in what was clearly a room that was adapted for wheelchair use (neither of us are wheelchair users), with a rail around the toilet and a shaving mirror at hip height. Further disappointments ensued when the hot water stopped working on the morning of Day 2, and my husband trod on a nail that was sticking upright from the bathroom threshold strip. We reported both problems straight away, but nothing had been resolved when we returned in the evening, nor - despite a second request - when we went out to dinner and came back at 20.30. The upshot was that we had to re-pack our bags and move to another room at 21.00 - not exactly a restful experience, and one which was dealt with very casually by the front desk. This second room was larger and better lit, but was painted entirely crimson, so it was like sleeping inside a pancreas (the Christian Lacroix décor is really quite tacky)...there was a small chair with a ripped cover in one corner, but nowhere for two adults to sit and read apart from on the bed or windowsill. The bathroom was fairly grim, with a wobbly, square black toilet seat that kept threatening to detach itself, and a black basin and bath which showed up every trace of soap or toothpaste, so looked horrible unless the cleaner had just been in. We didn't bother with breakfast as there are so many places nearby, nor with dinner as the dining room looked fairly devoid of atmosphere when we looked in. The bar was almost never staffed, so we didn't even have a drink there. When we looked at the bill, we could do nothing but give a hollow laugh. It was a ludicrous amount of money to have spent on a very lacklustre experience. We'll never go back.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location and facilities. Breakfast was perfekt.
Cons: Our rom was a bit to small and the bathroom was crowded.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel with very original design, everything was perfect
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very charming building inside out, located in the city center.
Cons: View from the bedroom
5.0 Okay
Pros: I liked very little- the bed was relatively comfortable.
Cons: Where do I start-outrageously priced, garishly decorated rooms, smell of stale cigarettes, minuscule bathroom, some off-hand staff, meant to be a 5* establishment, but frankly that is ludicrous.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel. Friendly and competent staff. Parking.
Cons: Nothing to complain about.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Tiny not comfortable rooms Terrible breakfast Not friendly staff Location close to highway Mosquitos in the room
6.3 Good
Pros: Free parking is a highlight - room was very spacious - little extras like a pool table, football table, and swimming pool with jaquizzi
Cons: The location wasn't too bad, although it feels a bit run down from the outside its only a 10 min walk to the beautiful town or Arles. The hotel pictures make this hotel look modern and funky, but in reality its old and tired - the decor of the rooms and bathroom is old, basic and cheap and does not match the images that the hotel are putting up - this is what I call false advertising. The breakfast is expensive and basic. The staff are not helpful or happy - they are miserable and were often playing pool when we needed assistance. The free parking is a good highlight. The pool area in autumn is not the nicest place to be. We were not offered proper service on arrival as the night porter couldn't speak English (not his fault) but no-one spoke to us the following morning.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location and parking facilities
Cons: The waiter by the name of Alexander at breakfast swiped the back of his hand against my girlfriend ‘s buttocks. He was hovering very close to her at the breakfast table when the room was empty as it was almost end of breakfast and apart from our table there were hardly anyone else and he was clearing the room. My girlfriend shouted at him when he touched her buttocks the second time as that eliminated the possibility of any accident in the touching. When I confronted him he started shouting very loudly and denying it in an aggressive and insulting manner. Totally unacceptable behaviour. My girlfriend asked to speak to the manager but only the front desk guy came and another lady waiter. She told him what happened. However the hotel did nothing at all. There was no follow up on her complaint. And the day after, that same waiter Alexander was on duty at breakfast. Luckily my girlfriend overslept and missed breakfast or she would have been extremely upset to see that waiter at breakfast. At no time did we receive any apology for the waiter’s behaviour. This is shocking for a booking.com listed hotel. This happened on 16/9/19 and we have not heard anything from the hotel on the incident. We are home now from our European holidays so a formal email complaint will be made to the hotel and booking.com.

Pros: Pool and haman
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great
Cons: The access road to the hotel off the main and other roads is cumbersome
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I could charge my electric car, which was amazing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. Very adequate facilities and a great breakfast with many choices. The pool and spa were wonderful for relaxing. The site was close enough to walk to town and especially to the market on Saturday.
Cons: The pool was very chlorinated, but other than that it was very good.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fine and had a full buffet. Parking at the hotel was very easy and the location in the town was not good and a difficult walk into the center of Arles.
Cons: The location of the hotel was away from the center of Arles. It was not comfortable to walk from the hotel into town at night. Since it was difficult to park walking was the only alternative. Although we were told it was a 10 minute walk in the dark down narrow and dark streets with traffic it was not worth the walk. Although the town is worth a visit and has many restaurants it was difficult to get there after dark by walking. Worst part was the hotel does not serve dinner except to groups. We were left without dinner for the 2 nights we stayed there.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The arts in the lobby, the jacuzzi, pool, the room, the space in the hotel amaizing, clean, modern, the colors, they have nice pictures there... inside the room is very clean and they have a good space for car, internet fast.
Cons: I don’t like the are near the hotel, to entre there was strange because the hotel outside is not to modern like inside.
