Pros: Breakfast was great. We also received discounts for some of the sites we visited by showing them a wrist band the hotel gave us.
Cons: I had paid for un upgrade before arriving in order to get two (2) Queen or two Full size beds. We were given a room with one full size bed and one twin bed. Secondly, We were informed that the air conditioning was "finished". I don't know if that meant that all air conditioners were broken or shut off for the season as it did apply to all the rooms. Consequently the room was stuffy. There are no screens on the windows so we didn't want to leave the window open at night and risk bug bites. It was October and cool but the Relative Humidity was in the high nineties (95+%).

Pros: The location was great, it was close to everything. The staff were very helpful and we were able to print our train tickets in the lobby. The room was large and the beds comfortable. I really liked the bathroom, very clean and the shower was big for France.
Cons: There were only stairs up to our room, I'm glad we did not have heavy suitcases.

Pros: Nicely placed in the center of town. Loved the room and the historic feel of the place.
Cons: Toilet space was cramped. A bit difficult to get to (GPS / Google Maps may take you on impassible roads) and no real parking on the premises - long walk to public parking.

Location is excellent, accessible from the station and in the heart of the old town. There was a problem with the main light in our room which was fixed quickly and courteously.
Cons: Our room (4) was right on the street and each morning at about 5.30 the bin lorry zoomed past my right ear. It also didn’t feel very private so we generally kept the window shut. The hotel didn’t provide any gluten free bread but eventually produced some crackers which were tasteless and unappetising. A long way short of other hotels which we have stayed in.

Cons:
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was great. Free parking was a five minute walk away.
Cons: The room was not much bigger than the bed. My wife and I had to maneuver around each other just to get to the bath. Everything was the least that could be done, no hot water for coffee or tea, not even a second card key. The walls are so thin that we sometimes thought someone was entering our room when they were actually in the next room.

Pros: Nice rooms with balcony and view over pool area. Area and car park are fenced off.
Cons: After booking the room in October (non-refundable) a message states that the pool is closed after Oct 1. This appeared not to be the case but pool closed (is covered) on cold or windy days. There is a fridge in the room (empty) but it turns off when you leave the room (connected to card socket switch). Stupid. There is nothing to do or buy in the (slightly run down) vicinity and you need to walk to the city centre (1.5 km) for everything unless you like Arab style shops.

Pros: Great location, secure private parking, spotless and lots of space in the hotel and room. Kind and helpful staff
Cons: The hot water took a full 2 minutes to reach the taps in my room (210), which wasted water.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a good place to stay when visiting Arles. The location is close to main attractions, and it is easily accessible with car. The room was quite comfortable. There are many places to eat something or to make basic shopping.
Cons: Nothing specific.
7.5 Good
Pros:
Cons: The bathroom was little, but the room was ok!
7.0 Good
Pros: Close to old centre of Arles and good restraunts. Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Room was on the small side for 2 people but manageable given the location to Arles Breakfast was basic but good for price.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Located close to centre, silent, in-house garage, very comfortable king size bed, clean. Good cost-performance ratio. If we‘re next time here again, we‘ll choose it again!
Cons:
7.0 Good
Pros: Location, breakfast, staff
Cons: I found a dirty sock at the side of my bed. The bath was difficult to get in and out - the layout of the bath room was poor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful central location, very helpful, pleasant staff, excellent breakfast and the underground car park with electric charging points was an extra bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our all too brief stay but have resolved to return for longer. Thank you.
Cons: Having to leave so soon!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A great location in Arles with parking under the hotel you can reserve in advance. A fairly modern hotel with good-sized rooms that serves an excellent breakfast.
Cons: The hotel is set up for family or business stays with a very minimal bar for guests. Not the worst thing as there are plenty of cafes and bars nearby.

Pros: The Jules Cesar is located close to the Alycamps Roman Cemetery and within easy walking distance of Old Arles, with its cafes and restaurants. The building itself is a former convent, so is attractive with a lovely cloister and central herb garden. There's a pleasant garden area at the rear of the property, where the small pool is located.

Pros: Everything!
Cons: The hotel is designed to blend in with the old surrounding buildings. This is so successful that I drove past twice without seeing it. A sign would help!
5.4 Okay
Pros: The Jules Cesar is located close to the Alycamps Roman Cemetery and within easy walking distance of Old Arles, with its cafes and restaurants. The building itself is a former convent, so is attractive with a lovely cloister and central herb garden. There's a pleasant garden area at the rear of the property, where the small pool is located.
Cons: Sadly, the hotel seems to be trading off past glories. Whilst the staff are very pleasant, the hotel itself feels nothing like a Five Star establishment. Our first room was poky and dark with a tiny window - and for reasons I will never understand, we had been placed in what was clearly a room that was adapted for wheelchair use (neither of us are wheelchair users), with a rail around the toilet and a shaving mirror at hip height. Further disappointments ensued when the hot water stopped working on the morning of Day 2, and my husband trod on a nail that was sticking upright from the bathroom threshold strip. We reported both problems straight away, but nothing had been resolved when we returned in the evening, nor - despite a second request - when we went out to dinner and came back at 20.30. The upshot was that we had to re-pack our bags and move to another room at 21.00 - not exactly a restful experience, and one which was dealt with very casually by the front desk. This second room was larger and better lit, but was painted entirely crimson, so it was like sleeping inside a pancreas (the Christian Lacroix décor is really quite tacky)...there was a small chair with a ripped cover in one corner, but nowhere for two adults to sit and read apart from on the bed or windowsill. The bathroom was fairly grim, with a wobbly, square black toilet seat that kept threatening to detach itself, and a black basin and bath which showed up every trace of soap or toothpaste, so looked horrible unless the cleaner had just been in. We didn't bother with breakfast as there are so many places nearby, nor with dinner as the dining room looked fairly devoid of atmosphere when we looked in. The bar was almost never staffed, so we didn't even have a drink there. When we looked at the bill, we could do nothing but give a hollow laugh. It was a ludicrous amount of money to have spent on a very lacklustre experience. We'll never go back.

Pros: Location is great. Staff is nice. Good quality of Breakfast.
Cons: Courtyard should be used for breakfast or diner... They should think of renovating some rooms.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I liked very little- the bed was relatively comfortable.
Cons: Where do I start-outrageously priced, garishly decorated rooms, smell of stale cigarettes, minuscule bathroom, some off-hand staff, meant to be a 5* establishment, but frankly that is ludicrous.

Pros: Free parking is a highlight - room was very spacious - little extras like a pool table, football table, and swimming pool with jaquizzi
Cons: The location wasn't too bad, although it feels a bit run down from the outside its only a 10 min walk to the beautiful town or Arles. The hotel pictures make this hotel look modern and funky, but in reality its old and tired - the decor of the rooms and bathroom is old, basic and cheap and does not match the images that the hotel are putting up - this is what I call false advertising. The breakfast is expensive and basic. The staff are not helpful or happy - they are miserable and were often playing pool when we needed assistance. The free parking is a good highlight. The pool area in autumn is not the nicest place to be. We were not offered proper service on arrival as the night porter couldn't speak English (not his fault) but no-one spoke to us the following morning.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location and parking facilities
Cons: The waiter by the name of Alexander at breakfast swiped the back of his hand against my girlfriend ‘s buttocks. He was hovering very close to her at the breakfast table when the room was empty as it was almost end of breakfast and apart from our table there were hardly anyone else and he was clearing the room. My girlfriend shouted at him when he touched her buttocks the second time as that eliminated the possibility of any accident in the touching. When I confronted him he started shouting very loudly and denying it in an aggressive and insulting manner. Totally unacceptable behaviour. My girlfriend asked to speak to the manager but only the front desk guy came and another lady waiter. She told him what happened. However the hotel did nothing at all. There was no follow up on her complaint. And the day after, that same waiter Alexander was on duty at breakfast. Luckily my girlfriend overslept and missed breakfast or she would have been extremely upset to see that waiter at breakfast. At no time did we receive any apology for the waiter’s behaviour. This is shocking for a booking.com listed hotel. This happened on 16/9/19 and we have not heard anything from the hotel on the incident. We are home now from our European holidays so a formal email complaint will be made to the hotel and booking.com.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fine and had a full buffet. Parking at the hotel was very easy and the location in the town was not good and a difficult walk into the center of Arles.
Cons: The location of the hotel was away from the center of Arles. It was not comfortable to walk from the hotel into town at night. Since it was difficult to park walking was the only alternative. Although we were told it was a 10 minute walk in the dark down narrow and dark streets with traffic it was not worth the walk. Although the town is worth a visit and has many restaurants it was difficult to get there after dark by walking. Worst part was the hotel does not serve dinner except to groups. We were left without dinner for the 2 nights we stayed there.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The arts in the lobby, the jacuzzi, pool, the room, the space in the hotel amaizing, clean, modern, the colors, they have nice pictures there... inside the room is very clean and they have a good space for car, internet fast.

Pros: Our poolside room was very comfortable. I had (unwittingly) booked a superior room, and for the difference in price between that and the standard room, the extra cost was well worthwhile. The towels were excellent. The staff were very attentive. We were in Arles during the Feria du Riz, when the noise in the centre at night was trying; the Mireille was very quiet and peaceful.

Pros: Free parking was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel and there was ample spaces during our stay. The location was good for a 20 minute walk in to Arles though the immediate location of the hotel is sort of in a bit of a trading estate. Really good value for money if you're not after anything special and you're not going to be spending much time in the hotel.
Cons: The room we had was small but fine for the one night we were staying. The furniture was old and dated which compared to the modern updated style of the ground floor reception and bar area was a bit of a contrast. Unfortunately no safe in the room either.
6.7 Good
Pros: Easy to find and quite a reasonable breakfast. There was also a pool
Cons: Minimum knowledge of English and some staff not even that which in 2019 is quite surprising considering the number of foreign travellers. Menu only in French and no leaflets in any language except french. Perhaps they had ran out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice Hotel, 25 minute walk to the city centre, good food at dinner.
Cons: Nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast, comfortable bed
Cons: The AC wasn’t cool enough, the wash basin was plugged. Too far from city center and no taxis. Walking there from the train station for half an hour was a bit of a torture. Good thing I was able to rent a bike after that! At least staff were kind, bed was comfortable and breakfast was decent.
7.5 Good
Pros: People at the reception and serving breakfast were very kind and helpful. Rooms were quiet and equipped with airconditioning. Nice small pool, but often 'private'; not used by many people during my stay.
Cons:
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The town was nice, excelent breakfast
Cons:
The ibis Arles hotel is at the gates to the Camargue, the Alpilles and Baux-de-Provence. 1500m from the Arena and historic center, within easy reach of the A54 / N113. 81 air-conditioned and soundproof rooms. It has a restaurant, 24-hour bar, swimming pool, terrace, free closed parking, 2 meeting rooms for conferences and seminars and Wi-Fi internet access. A tennis court is half a mile from the hotel.
The ibis budget Arles Sud Fourchon (formerly Etap) hotel is located 1969 yds from the amphitheater and center of this town known as "Little Rome". Walk in Van Gogh's footsteps or explore the Camargue park 12.4 miles away and Saintes Maries de la Mer. The Alpilles park is a 15-30 minute drive away. Visit Les Baux de Provence, Fontvieille and St Rémy de Provence. Take a break at a great price in an economy hotel with air-conditioned rooms. Free WIFI and enclosed car park. Numerous stores are nearby.

Pros: Our check in experience was good. The receptionist went out of her way to organise a room immediately as we were a little early. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is a budget hotel, however you know what you get from this chain. It is appreciated that towels and rubbish are dealt with on a daily basis. The location was superb. It is not far to Arles, and there are supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance.

Pros:
Cons: We had an car emergency and called in a repair truck. The truck was turned away by the front desk employee named Audrey. This has caused us a great deal of stress calling the repair truck back. I felt the front desk employee is very irresponsible. Repair truck are come are usually an emergency and the employee are not well trained.

Pros: Very friendly and helpfull stuff.
Cons: The doors of the rooms close very loudly, so you can everybody hear coming and going with a rrums until late into the night. You also hear speaking and tv from other rooms.

Pros: Stayed in the hotel 5-9 September, the hotel is approximately 10 mins walk from Arles centre and it is located next to a shopping centre with a number of fast food outlets. Check in was quick and efficient, staff were friendly. We were allocated room 220, the room and bathroom were spacious enough, desk, double bed, wardrobe, bath, shower and free wifi. The wifi worked well but I did have to keep logging back into it. The room had tea and coffee making facilities. To access rooms on the first and second floor you have to walk up a winding concrete staircase so if you have any mobility issues ask for a room on the ground floor. On the first night we had dinner at the hotel, there is a buffet starter and dessert with a la carte for the main course. Dinner was plentiful and reasonably priced. Breakfast is also a buffet and is charged at 9.90 euros, so good value depending on what you eat! The hotel reception is manned 24hrs a day. Upon checkout which was quick and efficient we were given a bottle of white wine by the Manger (thank you very much) He also provided us with a coffee while we waited for our taxi.

Pros: The manager was very helpful, and even drove us to the station when no taxi showed up!
Cons: The property is very overpriced for what it offers. It is outside of Arles, in an industrial area with poor bus transportation. My room was stuffy and smelling of smoke. Tons of mosquitoes. the room was not particularly clean and the bin in the bathroom was broken and was not replaced. Air drier did not function properly either.

As early as the Middle Ages L’Arlatan was recognised as being Arles’ most lavish hôtel particulier - a grand townhouse - and now, thanks to the exceptional vision of artist Jorge Pardo, it is making an outstanding début on the modern stage. A gigantic 6000 square metres of mosaic now adorns the hotel with an explosion of colour, light and contemporary design.
Each room and each doorway is a unique work of art; the almost two million fragments of mosaic tile used for the renovation were all handmade. The different buildings, whose central part is listed as a Monument Historique, are set around a magnificent courtyard with a majestic staircase and lounges boasting unrivalled charm.
L’Arlatan welcomes you and takes you on an exceptional, magical journey through history, culture and the senses. Nestled in the historic centre of Arles, it is just a few minutes from the Place du Forum, the Roman amphitheatre (Les Arènes) and the Church of Saint Trophime.

Pros: Everything was beautiful and interesting. Location was also good for access to the train.
Cons: The negative was that we could not connect to the internet. No one could help us get connected and my husband was quite frustrated about this. We did not have this problem at any other hotel on our two week trip. I also had some trouble booking on line until your web site showed up. Also, the online reply returned to me from the hotel was in French which delayed the booking process until your site appeared.

Pros: Convenience to downtown Arles.
Cons: The location if driving is impossible. We literally wasted hours trying to get to their garage. We left early and rebooked a place outside of town as we used our car everyday for day trips.

Cons: On one day we did not get our room made up and queried this with the Front Desk who apologised profusely (advising the cleaning staff were new) sorted it immediately and offered us free drinks at the bar.
