Pros (+) 24 hour shuttle from IAD, a clean room, and responsive and friendly staff. Some hotels do not have a 24 hour shuttle. Aloft's shuttle driver was friendly, competent, and professional even at 2 AM. Thank you!
Pros (+) Thank goodness everyone was friendly or we would have left immediately.
Cons (-) When we arrived, the hotel had NO WATER. The water came on several hours later but we were told the hot water would "take a while to warm up." The water was still cold the next morning. There was no indication on the kayak website that there was any problem at the hotel when we booked online.

Pros (+) The staff was really informative & friendly. The bar/ lounge area is in the lobby. Friendly bartender ( only open until 11pm on the weeknight we were there) FREE Airport shuttle but not clear that you have to call the hotel to pick you up. Plenty of breakfast options to chose from, including egg sandwiches. Very convenient to grab and go on the way to the airport.
Cons (-) Bathroom doors are sliding and there is a gap so not a ton of bathroom privacy if that is a concern
