Pros (+) Very nice view onto the marina, wonderfully quiet, friendly staff, hot cookies at any hour, very nice breakfast, comfortable bed, reasonably clean.

Pros (+) The sheets and pillow cases were clean and freshly laundered. The view of the boat basin was very nice.
Cons (-) The room was in very poor condition. Rm 215 had a cracked bath room sink, 2 of the 3 lights in the bathroom were not working and the counter top was sloppy repaired. The security latch on the entry door was missing. The carpet was dirty and the upholstery chair was ragged and torn. Very poor value for the cost of the room.
Pros (+) That there was availability on a weekend which was clearly busy.
Cons (-) Not a convenient location, for downtown Astoria anyway.

Cons (-) Not great for ambiance or creature comforts but as a fisherman, that isn't what is important. Location was great as I had a 2-minute walk to my charter's slip. Pretty pricey but at the height of the Buoy 10 fishery, it's a matter of supply & demand for a good location.
Pros (+) Comfortable lodging overlooking Marina with great views of bridge and use of bicycles.
Pros (+) The comfort level, room quality, scenery, and service were tops. The facility shows some age but doesn't hurt overall quality. We'lloyd go back.

Cons (-) We stayed here years ago when it was a Red Lion. It used to be really nice, but has not been maintained well at all. The rooms look shabby, The towels and bedding were very cheap. There was a chemical smell in the room that we couldn't get out. The hotel needs extensive renovation.
Pros (+) The view of the room was awesome! The amount of things to do. Goonies! Beaches!
Cons (-) The ac in the room didn't work. And the balcony light was burnt out.
