Location was great. View from restaurant was lovely.
Customer service was lacking. From the check-in at front desk to the host at paid for breakfast and waiter for dinner at Peacock restaurants, all personnel were arrogant and surly. Not at all helpful. Not at all friendly. Sitting at lobby bar was told not to trust recommendations of reception for nearby massage. The room was cramped, no view...smelled of air freshener and yet opening windows onto interior "courtyard" with unappealing view and noisy air conditioning was not a possibility. Would not recommend...so many other lovely places in Athens.
Fabulous location. Booked the junior suite with Acropolis view. Much more exciting than smaller rooms but if staying for more than a day or two it’s worth the price for the extra space. Most staff were terrific, one was not but can’t remember his name.
Rooms were clean but everything was boring beige. As mentioned one staff member was in helpful but most were great.
Mediocre hotel in a good location, certainly not 4 stars.
Mediocre hotel in a good location, certainly not 4 stars. I promised a room with a view and I booked breakfast. When I got there, the view was the building next door. They wanted to charge me extra for breakfast even though I had booked it for that rate. When I complained I was treated VERY VERY rudely by the hotel manager who I could only speak to by phone. He told me if I continued to complain he would call the police! Really!
Old fashioned decor and style. Poor breakfast quality.
Great location for exploring Athens by foot. Lots of restaurants close by.
Pillows very uncomfortable
