10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff. Location couldn’t be better. The gym the coffee bar, cookies.
Cons: Ac a little loud
9.2 Excellent
Pros: On top of the great location, the hotel provided day passes to Hunting Island State Park along with beach chairs, towels and even gave us bags of ice for the cooler. They offered use of bicycles to ride around town. All of this adds to the value.
Cons: Wish there was a microwave in the room and a safe for valuables, as most hotels have. While it was nice to have a soaking tub, it was difficult for my wife, who is 5'1", to get in and out of. She has a bruise on her thigh where she slipped getting out one night. Not a big deal for her, but shows what could happen for someone less mobile.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location great. Exterior door needed some WD 40 on hinges. Enjoyed cookies at bedtime.
Cons: Room was not clean after first night. No clean towels for 2nd day. No excuse for the price of room!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, smelled fresh and welcoming. The bathroom was beautiful as was the decor of the room. A working fridge, and a nice touch when a knock on the door was heard for cookies. Easy to find a restaurant and the coffee shop next door has a number of wonderful items for drinking and eating. All the staff we had contact with, were extremely helpful. Thanks to all
Cons: I wish the 2 step platform to get to the rooms was not there or had yellow markings at the edge. The steps seem to vary in width. Although well lit easy to trip. One thing would have been helpful in the room is a USB port.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
Cons: No pool.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My favorite hotel, the beds are so comfortable and you can’t beat the location right off Bay Street! The staff is always cheerful and accommodating they make you feel right at home. Plus the built in coffee shop is great too.
Cons: Sometimes I wish they had a pool, but you give that up for the great location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bathroom was amazing and the bed was very comfortable!
Cons: I only wish it had two beds.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bathroom, and location, but everything was great.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, close to everything . Great breakfast across the street. Loved java for a quick coffee and small breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent. Staff was very accommodating and gracious. Great place to take a dog!
Cons: Need more towel racks in the bathroom. But this is a common problem in all hotels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: REALLY nice rooms, excellent staff. Nicer than most upper level chains (Marriott, Hilton). Great location near excellent restaurants in downtown Beaufort. Great work out facility and City Java on the property has an amazingly good menu for great breakfast items. The bathrooms are beautiful and well designed, the beds and pillows absolutely comfortable . Just a really awesome place. I will stay here every time I return to Beaufort.
Cons: Nothing! Nothing at all.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very central- we could walk wherever we needed to go. Close to the bay and river. Comfortable. They gave us champagne for our anniversary which was a lovely touch.
Cons: The people in the room above us were making loud stomping noises past midnight and it kept us up. We could hear everything through the ceiling. Also the woman at the front desk could have been friendlier.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful service, excellent room!
Cons: The mattress is a little soft and the bed could use a bed skirt. The bathroom needs some counters. The mini fridge is not very elegant looking sitting on the floor. These are just little picky things, because everything was wonderful!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Free bikes, free chocolate/coffee station, free pass to Hunting Island State Park. Breakfast included via three local restaurants within one block of the inn.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, and the inn was true to its name. The staff on the whole was courteous, helpful, and desired to make the total visit a memorable one. The manager was extremely attentive to my needs and feedback. I will definitely return for another stay!
Cons: I experienced an unfortunate situation where the room servicing staff did an average job in maintaining the room. I must add, however, that when I contacted the Inn's manager, he welcomed my feedback, stated disappointment in his staff's servicing of my room, and readily addressed my concerns. Kudos to the manager!
5.4 Okay
Pros: Bed was comfortable and breakfast was excellent.
Cons: Unable to sit on soda to watch television, there was no cushion at all. A bug was dead in the bathroom when we arrived, we stayed for two days and it was there when we left and the tub was dirty when we got there we had to clean it before showering.

4.8 Okay
Pros: Bed was Comfortable and everything seemed pretty clean the courtyard is nice and so are stair cases and chandeliers.
Cons: Staff wasn't very Friendly. Room was outdated even for a bed and breakfast the decor was like a old lady's room. TV was very small

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very nice offering conversation and information of local restaurants that really helped us make decisions. The breakfast was presented very nice and was one of the best in quality that I have seen.
Cons: The room smelled musty, which is understandable in the south with the humidity. I would recommend plugins.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a lovely little hotel. The only thing that I would recommend are the ba When traveling alone it would back rooms are facing the very near street, would make me uncomfortable if traveling alone.
Cons: Super great staff and location. Very nice remodeling
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice, clean hotel, delicious complementary breakfast and friendly staff.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location is great.
Cons: The rooms are dark, dated and in urgent need of an upgrade. The overall cleanliness was poor and carpets in the room in fact dirty. The worst thing thing was the fact that we felt cheated by the staff when we had left something in the room when we left
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, the AC was playing up so they dealt with that promptly. Maintenance workers, especially, Tony were so polite and friendly. All the staff including housekeeping were lovely. The pool was great breakfast was delicious location is excellent. I will stay here again and again and again
Cons: Nothing not to like tremendous hotel excellent in every way.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The girl that was working the front desk the night of our stay was extremely professional and very friendly. We came in by boat and it had been raining and we had about 5-6 wet towels from the boat . We were going out for dinner and she offered to dry the towels for us. When we got back she had dried, folded, and left the towels on our bed in our room. It was very nice to have those dry towels the next day on the boat! We come every year for an overnight stay by boat, and sometimes two times a year and we always stay at the Best Western, and we always have a great experience! Thank you!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a very good location if you’re going to the Marine Corps graduation. Very many things are within walking distance from the hotel including local shops, restaurants, and the beautiful bay and marina. It’s located about a 5-10 minutes drive from MCRD Parris Island, and within minutes of other restaurants and shopping centers. After a very long and tiresome trip, upon arrival we were greeted with the biggest smile and pleasant service even though it was past 11pm due to the hard rain; they had also called us once they saw it was getting late to make sure we were okay. Once checked in, they give us a packet with ALL the information you need for the MCRD graduation. When I say “all the information you need”, that’s an understatement! Follow it and their directions, and your graduation experience will be a lot easier and memorable. They even gave us a copy of the local newspaper with a section congratulating all of the graduating recruits and their names printed on it. The room and accommodations were very clean and comfortable, the service ladies were fantastic and friendly, the breakfast service was delicious and varied for every taste, and the attendant, Jackie, was absolutely fenomenal. This property was above and beyond our expectations, and we will come back again!
Cons: A little pricey, but it was worth the price and the few extra bucks!

Pros: Porch with a great view. Soft, chewy CC cookies. “Rainfall” shower. Loved the privacy of the cottage.
Cons: Beds too high.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, and the location on main street of Beaufort is perfect for shopping, restaurants and strolling through the waterfront park. The honor bar was a fun surprise. We arrived late, but we were able to fix a drink and enjoy a night time view of the water from the outdoor deck on the 4th floor. Very nice.
Cons: Our room in the carriage house was very nice, but next time I'd prefer to stay in the main house.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and friendly staff. Rooms are well appointed and the Inn as a whole is simply perfect!
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Value for money
4.2 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was nice and location to town is very good.
Cons: It is way OVERPRICED for the accommodations. I would rate the accommodation 1 star at a 5 star price. If you are traveling with a pet all rooms are on the below ground floor and smell like mold - you can even see brown around the entire room coming through the paint. They try to mask the smell with a air freshener. The outdoor furniture looks nothing like the picture it is all dirty and full of mold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and clean. The front porch and balconies was a nice place to sit and relax. The food was out of this world. The best scallops I have ever eaten. Couldn't ask for a more attentive staff
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful old structure with a great location.
Cons: My room's renovation could have used more attention to detail. Check in was odd and rushed. You have to park on the street so I was shocked when told that I needed to bring my luggage to the back door of the house - THEN they would help me get it up to the room. Expect better service at this price point.

Cons: The staff was horrible! The front desk check/in girls were eye rolling, wouldn't acknowledge us and just talked to themselves. I had to lean over onto the counter and clear my throat before they would even make eye contact. Stay anywhere but here!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: This property is so quiet and peaceful. My husband and enjoyed the soft comfort and relaxing bed.
Cons: We checked out at 11:00 am, so I was a bit hungry. I could tell we missed breakfast and just wanted a piece of fruit. As I entered the dining area, I observed a small fruit platter. I took 1 small apple and the attendant came out and looked at me with the most disgusting look and said in a grudging voice, “Breakfast is over”. She was very rude. She immediately closed off the area as if I was intruding. The desk clerk was nice, he followed me to the room and gave me a bag of goodies. I was on crutches from having surgery 5 days prior. Thank you.
10.0 Excellent

4.6 Okay
Cons: We checked in and went to our room turned the air on and went sightseeing we came back a few hours later and the air conditioning was not working, I went to the front desk and told the front desk clerk and her response was “sorry there is no one here to fix it and I don’t have another room to put you in” so I called the Hampton in Savannah to see about transferring our reservation and she said that was no problem and she didn’t have anything but to hold and she would see what she could do, she came back on the line and said she booked us at the Hilton Garden in Hilton head, she stated all we had to do was go and check in and pay the $80!difference since we had already paid $575... so we pack up and drive an hour to Hilton head and we get there and the front desk clerk says the total will be $655, I explained we already paid $575 and we were told to pay the difference, he said it doesn’t work that way, and that we would have to pay $655 and $575 would be refunded in 5-7 days... So we went back to Beaufort and stayed in a room with no air conditioning for the night and it was fixed the next day, we were given a discount and we decided to check out a day early, so we paid the bill in full and halfway home I check the bank account and we were charged an additional $417, so I called the hotel and they said it was an accident and it would be refunded in 5-7 days... I have always stayed at Hilton hotels and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had... Never ever again

Pros: Location close to Parris Island was the only good thing going for them
Cons: Where do I start.... well, for starters the side entry to the facility didn’t not lock open to who ever around the clock. The rooms were dingy and smelled very musky, we had to go purchase deodorizer and spray the room many times throughout our stay. No wash clothes in the room and when my wife went to get a few from the front desk the lady basically tossed them at her. No apology or regard for customer satisfaction. The worst part of our experience is that we were on the second floor and whoever was above our room was out of control. The loudest walker/ floor stomper ever. On several occasions I thought they were going to come through the ceiling, this went on for most of the night. We tried to call the front desk to see if anything could be done and no one answered, so my wife attempted to sleep with her ear buds in and I turned on the tv and put a pillow over my head to mask some of the noise. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!

Pros: Good bed. Clean room. Decent breakfast.

Pros: The suite was a nice size and the location was perfect for where I had to travel while there.
Cons: The suite that I reserved said it sleeps six. This suite 103 should sleep 4 because the pull out was horrible it was old and very uncomfortable. The made housekeeping service was lacking as well. My family and I left out that morning for an event and it looked like the only thing that were touch was that the beds were made.

Cons: My husband and I were celebrating an anniversary trip and thought a B&B would be a great idea. The hostess of the home was not there, so make sure Diane is going to be home and that she is expecting you. This was our first and last B&B stay. Handy Man was hosting which would have been ok had he done it before. He smelled strong of alcohol. The front and back porches were covered in pollen and if we had wanted to sit and admire the river we couldn't. The bathroom had not been cleaned from the last guest. The handy man told me I could help him with bfast since we were the only ones staying...I don't think that is how a B&B works!!! He also told me that Beaufort is the most boring place to visit and he had lived there for 20yrs. Owner, Diane was traveling and must have not blocked the days of her trip and then after seeing we had booked found a last minute person to cover her. A simple email to me would have allowed me to make other plans. After speaking with Diane on the phone, she only gave me half of my money back and offered me a complimentary one night stay another time...not a chance of me EVER coming back here!! She said "I don't know why you just didn't stay?"
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the location, it was clean and nice quiet area. Diann was very nice and helpful for local food and activities. Would stay again.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: There was a river in back.
Cons: The owner told me she has no staff and tries to take care of the property herself. The furnishings of the home were old and dirty, the house was dark and crowded with things that had been collected; dolls, what nots, and numerous other things. The room I had reserved on booking.com was not the room the owner showed me because she said she had just returned from Hong Kong and had not gotten that room ready. The room I was shown was dark, and the furnishing and linens were old and well used, the bathroom was old and looked dirty. There was a large pieces of exercise equipment setting in the hallway which the owner said she was in the process of moving but hadn't had time to move yet, the exercise equipment could have easily been a hazard to us if we had to get out of the room to the back door in a emergency such as a fire, which was very unsafe. The price of the room was not cheap for that area, and I expected cleanliness and comfort for the price and there was neither. I expressed my concerns about staying there to the owner and she told me it didn't matter if I stayed or not she would get the money. I knew she might get to keep the money but for the above reasons I left the property knowing I might lose the $236.50 that is pending on my credit card. I don't think anyone should ever have to pay when the property is not as described and the conditions of the property are not clean. I hope to save someone from the experience I had there.
