Great location for what we needed
Staff were rude
Rooms secure staff friendly. Beds clean and comfterable
Problem with toilets blocked
Everytime i had to tell them to clean my room. I was in a single room which has to be cleaned everyday but they did not. Very very very very very bad wifi. No wifi in their rooms. You have to go downstairs or upstairs to the lounge before you use the wifi. No drinking in the room. Even if u buy your beer outside. You have to drink it outside before you enter the hostel. You cant buy beer outside and drink it in their lounge. Check out before 10 lol. Gilberto the staff is very good.
The location is convenient.
I was recently in the hostel from the 20th to the 23rd of February and on the night of the 20th we had some trouble which still has not been addressed let alone resolved. We left the hostel at around 9pm and returned at around 2am to find 3 men sleeping in our private room. We went down to the reception and they told us we were given the wrong room and someone had packed up and moved all our things. We are very disappointed at the way this was handled, the woman (Xenia) at the reception who checked us in did not even take responsibility for her mistake and made it seem as if it was our problem and nothing could be done. Some items from our luggage were missing (2 android chargers, 2 new razors, a brand new face wash and some soaps/shampoo) and hardly any effort was made to recover them. There was a time between checkout where someone could have gone inside the room to search for the items before checking in the next guest but it doesn't seem like it was a big enough problem to Xenia. Additionally, she kept forgetting who we were, even though we had spoken to her multiple times and each time have to remind her of the mistake she made which she never took responsibility for. The service was terrible from her throughout our time at the hostel. Furthermore, she stated that we couldn't hear from her boss since it was the weekend, but this incident occurred already on a Thursday so does the boss/manager not work on a weekday? At the end of our stay we were then told that the office would contact us since we expected some kind of compensation for the missing items as a result of poor system management, creating a HUGE and STRESSFUL inconvenience for us as it is. It has been over a week and we still have NOT heard a word from the office or management.
