Pros: Staff went out of their ways to support myself and my family whilst on our break ....which turned out to be a little bit chaotic and stressful. Turning up to " check-in", it was discovered that id booked the wrong date and me plus 2 tired and quite irritable children were 1 week early for our stay - not intentional of course. My heart sank - we were tired, had traveled from Norfolk and were gasping for a cuppa! The reception staff were very accomodating and managed to change the booking and we ended up saving a few pennies too which was a bonus! A short wait in the reception area and we were in! Peace and time to relax at last.....or maybe not! Later in the evening, I realised I had misplaced my mobile phone! How annoying! My daughters' health was also deteriorating ( she has chronic asthma ) and was struggling to support herself so it was crucial that I made contact with my Partner and other children who were in Stevenage but couldnt!! My phone MUST be in my car (with my daughters' spare inhalers) BUT.....my car keys were with my partner! - I couldn't contact him or drive to him! I was stuck in a town I had never been to before and had no idea how to track my partner down! The reception staff helped me search online for local telephone numbers where my Partner could have been - i had a rough idea of street address and after some time I managed to make contact with him and he arrived to rescue us! Our hero! My daughter perked up with access to her medication which was in the car and the next morning we all enjoyed a happy breakfast together - Porridge and fruits went down a treat! Thank you! We wont forget the story of our exciting trip to Stevenage - hope to see you again one day! :)

Pros: Cheap. Friendly staff.

Pros: Loved the view from the 4th floor, ease of heating & easy to operate open windows. Comfortable bed, nice clean sheets, just enough towels & pillows. Top hygiene, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Shower a bit more powerful. Nice and spacious and good temperature control but prefer an even harder flow.
5.0 Okay
Cons: The room was cold, the heating to turn on & off wasnt working, (presuming staff only has access to heating) the cleaner walked into the room on us. (Awkward)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: My room was okay, the bed was comfortable and the shower and wc clean and functional. I couldn't get the heating controls to work so I was unable to moderate the temperature which was quite warm but the room was clean, functional and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The receptionist was exceptional - lovely nature, very helpful and knowledgeable and beautiful too!
Cons: Not particularly impressed by Stevenage on a Sunday evening but I can't really blame you for that now can I?

1.0 Poor
Pros: None
Cons: Right from beginning nothing was well coming, staff hospitality was not seen in any of their actions and had to beg for good room as my request while booking the room was superior with extra money but was given standard room with no a/c working. Right in the mid night had to walk up to reception and request for better room and further which I ended up relocating to a different room along with my luggage. This was utter inconvenience having to attend meeting all day long. On any of my request to the reception, I was asked to check with booking.com who are not able to answers my call even after long wait for good 20 minutes or so and finally with a message call gets disconnected. Both Hotel and booking.com failed to facilitate the commitment they promise to their clients, which will certainly loose their regular customer's trust and as a result this is the beginning business failure. I am sure, I will certainly stop all my further travel bookings through booking.com and advise all my clients and vendors regarding this failed business commitment. This will be my last login to booking.com and never again login to your site. Good bye. RAJU RAMAKRISHNA

7.0 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable, and the hotel is right in the town centre.
Cons: No windows.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was perfect for our early shuttle the next morning-- super central and convenient for the airport or train! The lady at the front desk was also wonderful! Very helpful and friendly
Cons: I booked our rooms here because it looked like kind of a funky place, but it was a bit weird for us... The rooms felt plasticky like you were in a trailer or an airplane. Also, the lighting was hard to figure out. The starkness of the rooms makes it a bit echoey too, so it's likely to hear TV's or banging around in other rooms at night. It was a cheap room, so I guess you get what you pay for... Wouldnt want to stay there again too much, but for the convenience!
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I asked the receptionist to give me a room far from the reception and he didn’t. I did not get one wink of sleep as staff and guests were running up and down from night going into the morning shouting and laughing up and down the corridor. The hygiene in the room was disgusting. Hairs on all the bedding, dark handprint stains on the walls and the headboard had not been cleaned in god knows how long. I had only been in the bed for a few minutes before my body started to itch. Absolutely horrible hotel and I only stayed for one night. I can’t imagine if it was a long term stay. Definitely will not be back there again.
5.7 Okay
Cons: Very cheap, felt like a youth hostel.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Room without a window is dark and very good to sleep till 10. Bute Street car park right behind the hotel. Wet room and shower first class, excellent location, very good internet in the room.
Cons: Tv could work next time

Pros: Big room with wide windows and a lot of light, helpful service
Cons: Was slightly disturbing waking up in a cold room, as the central heating is working only when one specifically asks for it and the windows are very old. However, when I asked the reception to open some heating in the morning, they did it and everything was OK, just that asking to put heating every day is not so pleasant. To compensate that, there is a personal heater to warm up the room rapidly, but leaving it open during night is not the safest solution.

Pros: To be honest and in view of the room price I did not expect the hotel to look like this, I was surprised with the level of thje service, the receptionist at the afternoon was very professional and friendly, the reception hall was impressive, the room was clean and well organised
Cons: The access to the car parking is not easy to see I missed few times and had to park in a nearby car parking where i had to pay but on checking in I realised that there is a car park belongs to the hotel so i brought my car from the outside car park after i had already paid for a ticket

1.0 Poor

6.0 Good
Pros: Plesant and relaxing, chilled vibe.
