The staff were great and location, it was clean but needed up dating, which was happening in the new year, breakfast was good
The bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was not on the base properly and the mattress was old we kept rolling to the middle of the bed got no sleep at all, the duvet cover had marks on it which you only saw when you pulled it back.
The shower was cold and just a jet of water as the shower head was faulty.
Staff very friendly.good breakfast.will be stopping again soon when they open up again after refurnish.only 5 min walk to shops
Room to hot
Great location of hotel.great value for money.comfortable rooms
The view The fact there was a bar downstairs Parking- limited Comfy bed
The shower was either cold or hot but never the right temperature, the water pressure wanted to rip your skin off! The radiator was on so high, the room was boiling and couldn’t turn the radiator down ourselves so had to wait till night staff came in at 10pm to turn the heating off. The window wouldn’t stay open and only had a small gap to let air into the already boiling room. The room was very unclean and needed at the very least a Hoover. The lift wasn’t working the lack of communication about the lift and what time breakfast is was none existent. Lack of beer behind the bar. The rooms need updating. You couldn’t use the toilet with the door shut, it’s a good job we aren’t sheepish!!
