8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room Near the train station
Cons: There's no staff, so it reminded me the Shining Hotel, it was a little creepy
7.9 Good
Pros: Location to everything in small city. Older style hotel but warm clean and friendly
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfy room. Friendly staff. Good location.
Cons: No complaints
4.0 Okay
Pros: The location.
Cons: No services. The room was awful.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Chose an ensuite room. Both room and ensuite were generous sizes....bigger than expected having read reviews. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again...the only downside would be if we had a lot of luggage in winter (snow etc) because it is a bit of a walk from the station...but well worth the walk.
Cons: Cannot think of anything! We were lucky that when we arrived there was a lovely man at the desk and we were immediately let in as we began the self check in, so we were able to do that in the warmth. But answering a couple of questions which I assume were part of the automated check in, everything was easy.

Cons: We only had one night stay in Brig.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is fabulous. Staff very professional. Food and restaurant fantastic
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very kind woman at reception
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Small but quality hotel. Warmed and personalized welcome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was really nice, big and totally refurbished (we were 4 and had the suit on the 5th floor). A door/slidable wall between the bedroom and the leaving room would be a plus. Good restaurant. Location very easy to find. 5min from the city center and train station but quite.
Cons: The breakfast was good but ... could be improved with more home made/local products : I would have appreciated home made jam or fresh orange juice for example. Bread was really good.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: You could tell that the hotel was proud of its service to customers. We really felt special
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great size room, comfortable beds and friendly service
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room and bed. Very clean as well.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The dinner was incredible and unexpectedly so… I’ve stayed in a few rather decent hotels during this trip; but dinner here topped the rest, by a mile. Seeing how this hotel was in the middle of nowhere, I wasn’t expecting it. Delicious grilled fish; beautifully presented and served!

6.3 Good
Pros: Staff was very friendly and provide information we needed, and agreed to change the room type which was not matching our booking at the begging. The SPA area is excellent for relax and open early in the morning.
Cons: The room type was not matching from what we booked. we booked 2 rooms--one 2 room apartment was fine. Another family room for my friend's family. It was mentioned duplex room with one double bed and 2 single bed in our booking ( 40 sq meters), but was given much smaller double room ( which the price is much lower from web-site). As my friend has 2 children ( 3 years old), we insist to change the room, and hotel changed for us at the end, but still smaller than they expected and without kitchenette which not easy for heating up kids food at night.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast in the hotel. Superb "wellness" facilities!!
Cons: No dislikes really.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Room size was big
Cons: Very expensive
7.9 Good
Pros: The spa pool was the star of this visit - loved it! Breakfast excellent and the lifts from and to the station were great.
Cons: The receptionist was not helpful in directing me to my room which turned out to not be in the main hotel building. After a long travelling I was lugging my cases up a hill with no idea where to go.
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel features really good mineral baths, definitely worth it. The staff is kind and attentive. Location is nice and quiet.
Cons: The hotel charges guests for the car parking CHF 7.50 per night, which is quite inconvenient and a bit disappointing. Given the hotel prices and the size of the public car parking nearby, I would suggest the hotel rent 5-6 car spots from the municipality and offer the car parking for free, subject to prior reservation by the guests. This would improve the overall good service. The room was functional, although not modern. The hotel itself needs slight refreshing repairs in my opinion. It does not have a restaurant in the premises, therefore a shuttle service takes the guests down to the village for lunch / dinner or you have to use your car.
6.7 Good
Pros: Slightly odd hotel with very dates fixtures and fittings. However I had a quiet spacious room with balcony and the bed was comfortable. But bathroom was not as outdated as other cheaper hotels in Switzerland. The main reason I stopped here for a night was to use a swimming pool. The swimming pool was 33 degrees, nice and large and with various jets and bubbles - it was better than I was expecting.
Cons: Dated rooms and furnishings. Breakfast was quite simple, just ok. No restaurant in hotel, had to drive down hill to their ‘parter’ hotel which had a restaurant. I had to pay for overnight parking across the road on a scrubby car park and wasn’t told in advance I had to pay. In most country locations rather than town centres, you would expect free parking.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We were there for an event in the area and simply needed a place to sleep. The room and the swimming pool area exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was good, too.
Cons: Nothing to report. Note that if you don’t have a car, there’s a steep walk to the station (although they will pick you up and drop you off when you leave). You will struggle if you don’t speak French or German (or Italian). There’s limited English (not an issue for us).

5.4 Okay
Pros: Soft and comfortable beds. The room is spacious, spotless clean.
Cons: The WiFi connections is poor. We have no connection in the room, even down in the restaurant. Lightings in the room could be brighter. They couldn't tell what buses can reach near to the hotel, while I saw bus numbers 511, 621, 631 and 632 are recommended routes from Google map. Breakfast is simple.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Much noise during the breakfast, sheets not clean, jacuzzi didn’t work
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The excellent young receptionist who couldn’t do enough for us,ie, she leant us an electric connector as the Swiss connection is different from France. Also advised where we could buy one. Marvellous co operation in storing our bicycles in the hotel store room. Rooms and linen etc spotless.
Cons: We were aware of traffic noise through out the night, probably to be expected in a town.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very big for a single traveller, with a third bed. Restroom was big and well equipped. I appreciated a lot that the people, at the desk, could communicate in italian.
Cons: Breakfast was quite basic. It could be improved.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and comfortable hotel. Nice decor. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Some guests were a bit noisy when they left at 6am.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has a soul and character. It's in the center of the village, and you can watch people while eating breakfast on the patio. At night, it is very loud on weekends. Earplugs are provided. Comfortable bed with luxury bedding.
Cons: noisy (adjacent to a bar), hot in 30-degree weather (not recommended in the hot weather!)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: BREAKFAST BEST OMLETTE I ever had.
Cons: Room a bit small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location couldn’t be best five minutes to the station. Clean, modern decor, great service and really kind staff.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nicely laid out rooms. Large and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and I really liked having a day bed in our room. Also, we had a great view of the mountains every morning. Breakfast was really tasty. Homemade oatmeal was amazing and the staff did made-to-order omelettes for us. Very chill place. Great location right in the centre of town. Easy 3 min walk from the train station.
Cons: The hotel is unfortunately attached to a nightclub, and we stayed Friday/Sat nights and heard base late into the night. Not the hotel's fault, but definitely annoying when trying to sleep. However I put some earplugs in and it was fine. Slept great actually.

7.0 Good
Pros: Interesting hotel in that it is a hotel combined with a sports/wellness facility. Nice to be able to have one room for the family. Also, we enjoyed the indoor bowling alley.
Cons: Decor is a bit outdated, but room was clean and good value for money.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A very family friendly hotel with great staff. Kids played badminton for free whilst parents had a glass of wine and watched happily! Loved it!
Cons: The rooms and hallways were slightly over heated so needed to turn off the heating and open wide the windows to sleep. Noise from trains passing was endearing but was all night!
6.0 Good
Pros: Shower pressure was good.
Cons: Little further out of town centre than expected. Shower is hot then colder then hot.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The walls were a bit thin and you can hear kids running around and screaming. But it wasn't too bad.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming and helpful host, absolutely charming and friendly. Well done to everyone.
5.8 Okay
Cons: I think that some misinformation from booking.com about the check out time of du pont hotel. The staff kept opening n closing our room door without asking permission from us just to make us not feeling comfort And like telling us that is your time to get out. I was so unhappy with this condition. When i complained about this to the receptionist and show them it was stated by booking.com the check out time is 12 o'clock. The staff only raised the shoulder and pointed their finger to the head(means you have to think about it). What an attitude. Not only that the staff opened our door at 11 o'clock just to show our room to the next guest to make them believe that the room was not ready yet for them to check in. Whattt??? It was just 11 o'clock. I was so humiliated. I hope booking.com will concern about this not to be happened in the future
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff! Very courteous and helpful! Very Good Food - Both breakfast and dinner!
Cons: Nothing!Exce

Cons: None
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, personal touch. Staff truly interested in giving their guests the very best of experiences. You feel like home.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is centrally located, 5 mins from the train station. Room was clean and comfortable and bathroom was clean. Hotel has a restaurant and I had dinner here mostly. Portions are huge and food is ok. Breakfast is served to you and I felt it was limited. Its the same daily and hence gets boring. Maybe they can include eggs for variety.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice lady and nice room. Good view. The lady made us some food, which was nice as everything else in walking distance was closed.
Cons: Far from the city centre when you don’t have a car - a very uphill and long walk from the train station. Their restaurant was closed which was unfortunate.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very Clean and the very much hotel quality standard! Staff were extremely friendly! Despite some nuns not knowing English they were extremely helpful and friendly!
Cons: Could have more of a selection on the breakfast buffet.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very clean, good continental breakfast and views
Cons: A lot of steps + to the car park as well. No TV or tea/coffee in the room. Car or bus required to Brig centre..
6.3 Good
Pros: courtesy of staff
Cons: No air conditioning available in the room No clear signal for car parking (hidden by bushes)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and had a really nice view. Tastefully decorated and very clean. Staff kind and professional.
Cons: While the room itself was warm enough, the floor was cold (in the winter). I wish I had brought along some house shoes as I really had cold feet. As well, the internet connection was not that great. Normally this would not be an issue for many people but I have a sleep disorder which means I am often awake in the middle of the night walking around and bored out of mind. Between the cold feet and poor internet connection (which meant boredom in the middle of the night) it was not my most comfortable stay. But again, this would likely not apply to most people.
Hotel Touring - Naters - Bedroom
15
7.5 Good (456 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Hotel Touring places you in the heart of Naters, a 5-minute drive from Stockalper Palace and 7 minutes from Brigerbad Thermal Pools. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.0 Good
Pros: Reasonable price, comfortable enough, decent facilities, quiet once the bar closes, 7 mins walk from the railway station, restaurant/bar below and nice coffee/bakery a few minutes toward the station. Its not super fancy, a bit 80s perhaps, but a decent price and I had stayed there before. I like the bottle of fizzy water in the room. And, oddly enough, the Star Trek shower mixer/faucet.
Cons: Bathroom roof could have been a little cleaner. Now that's being fussy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is very close to train station. Instead of choosing pricy hotels in Zermatt, choose this one. Real value for money. Zermatt and Intelaken both can be reached with train comfortably.
5.0 Okay
Pros: breakfast was good- room was clean/neat.
Cons: room was over the kitchen- loud noises until ~1am.
1.0 Poor
Cons: I couldnt check in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Wifi connection and friendly helpful staff!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room with large bathroom and balcony. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good location near the station.
7.0 Good
Pros: Convenient for the station, no noise from outside hotel, staff very helpful.
Cons: Quite a lot of noise from room above, late at night.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: It was convenient location wise
Cons: There was nobody at the reception for half an hour and I had to ask twice for someone to come. I a hotel offers late bookings and check-ins there should always be someone friendly to welcome. None of these applied. Very very disappointing and aweful experience. Even 20chf would have been too much for this.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: See above...everything!
Cons: We liked everything and the restaurant was amazing! We didn't expect to find anything like this in Naters. We'll be back:)
Hotel Art Furrer - Riederalp - Building
16
8.2 Excellent (222 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Art Furrer in Riederalp, you'll be next to a golf course, within a 5-minute drive of Aletsch Glacier and Hohfluh Gondola. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
7.5 Good
Pros: The spacious family room, the proximity to the ski slope and the pool for the kids
Cons: Maintenance of the building/rooms (paint peeling off) and the flexibility of the reception staff was limited
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is 100m from the training lift. Extremely convenient for a family with kids taking ski lessons. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The breakfast offers a wide selection. Swimming pool is nice - clean, not over chemical treated, warm and different depths, with a view on the mountains. Kids really enjoyed this perk. Nice, spacious sauna too. Overall, Riederalp is a special village because there are no cars. We really enjoyed walking everywhere on the snow paths.
Cons: It's a pity that you cannot eat dinner in the restaurant unless you reserve half-pension for the entire stay. This was not clear when making the reservation. Having to always go elsewhere to eat dinner is not handy with small children; the hotel should have an on-site restaurant that is available, or offer the option to add half-pension after arriving. While there are kitchens in the rooms, the stove/oven is disconnected. It would be better to either renovate the rooms and take out this unusable appliance, or have it available, especially if there is not the option to eat in the restaurant. While the fact that the hotel has probably never been renovated is accurately reflected in the photos, so I was not surprised, they could still do better with cleaning. When we arrived, there were dirty glasses on the table; our carpet was not vacuumed during the stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This building on the West end of the hotel is a nice option if you want to use the pool, because it's just downstairs and you don't have to go outside to reach it. Compared to the East building, this is in slightly better condition (we stayed there other nights). We had a room on the north west side, and it was still light and had a nice view. Breakfast was good, in a cozy area. In this building (unlike east building) you have a complementary coffee machine. We arrived late and the receptionist on duty kindly walked to meet us at the gondola and help carry luggage to the hotel because no taxis were on duty. Location is very handy, especially for reaching the trainer lift (100m) and the ski rental shop, ski lesson booking and Coop supermarket - all 6 min away walking. NB Google map is inaccurate about the walking distance from the hotel to the gondola, trainer lift and restaurants. The hotel is actually about 5-6 minutes from all of these places, and very handy.
Cons: The only thing we missed in the stay was an option to have dinner at the hotel. Because only people who book half-pension can eat in the restaurant at the hotel, it's not very handy.
6.7 Good
Pros: Reception service was really good (arrival and departure). Breakfast was simple but all what we need before a ski day. only 5 minute walk from the main Gondola.
Cons: Room equipment and decoration was REALLY old. Floor, bathroom, table, shelf, …. were old outdated (1970's) as well as staircases. A good refresh would really be inexpensive and bring an overall excellent image.

The surrounding area offers various hiking trails with panoramic views of the surrounding Föhren Forest. The Schönstatt House Bus Stop is located about 15 meters away from the property. Free parking is available.
