Location was nice, there were a lot of bars and restaurants just around the block.
They refused to give me the room that I had booked for the first night of my stay. The next morning at 7AM they provided me the key to my room and said they had misread the reservation.
The Location, and the front desk staff do a very good job, especially under the current pandemic situation
Been here 25+ X, Booked "suite 503" on 5flr, was a disappointment, Safety door chain gone, could see screw holes where it had been, balcony door could not lock, back of chair fell off (2 screws holding it, I had to fix window blind chain, too much to list

The room had dirt on the floors and there was a leak in the ceiling and noticed garbage and cigarette butts behind the bed. When I booked the room it said 2 standard beds which turned out to bed two Twin beds. Also an insane amount of weed smoke in hall .
Heating vents did normal poor staffing no amenities such as microwave coffee set up ice trays etc

I love the rooms at Gowanus they are comfortable and feel like a apartment I want to own in the future.
Nice hotel in a great location. Especially liked the storage under the bed. Was a great way to open up the space for nyc cozy hotel rooms. Really enjoyed my stay, and all the staff were great and accommodating. Will certainly be back and recommend.
The staff was friendly and attentive. That was the only thing I liked. The location was good too but there was no parking which was not convenient.
There was no coffee. sheets were not clean, they weren't even changed over the course of my stay. The room and hotel didn't look anything like the photos. I needed a bandaid and the hotel said they do not have any first aid, which I'm sure isn't okay.
