A friendly and efficient staff and a rather clean room were the only good things about this hotel.It ended up being quite a disappointment,bad value for money in a neighbourhood far away from the center of ba (almost an hour ride on the metro)If you're looking for value for $ and contemporary design,go to Dazzler Flats Quartier Basavilbaso where we stayed before:the apartments are twice bigger,better designed with a kitchen,fridge,big flat screen TV,gym,pool,sauna and a central location! Too bad they were booked out when we wanted,that is why we ended up here at Sarum H. The term ''design hotel'' is totally misleading,since the recent facelift is limited to the lobby,restaurant and logo on the complimentary shampoo bottles. The rest,including the outdated furnishing in the very small rooms,is more reminiscent of a typical 80's motel,complete with broken air-con unit and paper-thin walls: a crying baby next door or clapping doors in the hallway kept us jumpy. The internet connection was extremely temperamental and the buffet breakfast very basic.Don't trust those pretty pictures,this is not a boutique hotel!
