Pros: Just stopped over night on our way to Sturgis.
Pros: Super 8 rooms are small, but the place was clean. Had free wifi and free breakfast included waffles, biscuits and gravy along with other regular breakfast fare.
Pros: My only complaint is while I was taking a shower it started making a really loud noise. I was almost done so I just hurried through it. Our room was very clean, comfortable and very affordable. We had a 1 year old with us who doesn't sleep through the night. I let them know and they gave us an end room with a fridge and microwave for her night time bottle. Pros: I stayed in the hotel, so my review is specific to that and not the Motor Inn. From the very start to the very finish this was a wonderful hotel experience. The look of this historic hotel is dated to the era and boasts a grand entrance that is absolutely spectacular. The staff were all very warm and helpful. The beds were comfortable and everything was so clean! I highly recommend booking a room at the Hotel Finlen. I'm very much looking forward to my next visit!
Pros: Beautiful old hotel in a town full of beautiful old buildings. You feel like you're in a different era. Spring for the extra $12 to stay in the hotel as opposed to the adjacent motor inn.

Pros: The facilities are very old and out of date. The shower and sink didn't work very well and it was difficult to regulate temperature. Curtains did not close all the way and we also heard strange sounds during the night inside the room.
Cons: The location was nice, the room was clean, and staff was friendly. It was fine for one night, but probably would not stay again.
Pros: Ice machine, and beverage machines locked up at night, No coffee maker in the room. Had to step over the vacuum cleaner and pillows while carrying my luggage to my room. Location was scary for a single woman traveling alone. Grounds and rooms were clean and staff was friendly.

Pros: Great log furniture in room. Very comfortable.
Cons: New tub is needed as bottom is stained.
Pros: Adjoining rooms available
Cons: This is an old place! We were comfortable, just had to overlook the age and carpet. We stayed in many places across the US for same amount of money that were a lot newer and nicer.
Pros: They employees were all exceptional. I dont know how you found all the nicest people in Butte Mt and got them to work at your establishment! They were so welcoming and accomodating. The breakfast lady talked to us on our first day then remembered we were there for a volleyball tournament and asked us how it went the second day we saw her. It was nice to be remembered.
Cons: Needs new carpet in rooms and halls. Pool area was kinda icky. Lots of mold on walls and rust covered ceiling. Dead plants need to be cleaned up but there was always plenty of towels and ample seating which was nice. Huge chunks of wall were missing as well.
Pros: Staff at front desk was very courteous.
Cons: My daughter and I planned to stay here based on reviews from previous guests. We will never do that again. However, the room was a totally different story. We open the door and just about died from the nasty smell. It smelled musty, moldy. We didn't even sleep there. Instead we went across the road to a Comfort Inn. So we ended up paying for a room here that we never stayed in. This hotel needs major renovations and updates.
Cons: Rooms were filthy. Large chunks of rust were falling from the ceiling into the pool, the hot tub water was a gross green color and cold. When I approached the staff to inform them of what we found and that we were less than satisfied, we never got an apology. They did nothing to try to get us to stay. As I approached the front desk the clerk was on the phone with another guest who was also complaining about their dirty room. Terrible, terrible experience. Will never go back.
Pros: Our room was very clean. The breakfast was ok.
Cons: The staircase leading to our room very dirty. We wondered what the room would be like but it was clean. At breakfast, the 2 ladies were really behind in getting new products out. I felt like there needed to be more help there for the size of the guests at breakfast.
Pros: The staff were super friendly & helpful. Breakfast was great.
Cons: The mattress was really worn out. The A.C. could barely keep up
Pros: The free hot breakfast in the morning was nice.
Cons: The motel is very run down and out of date. There is a reason the picture of the motel is taken at night. Our room did not look anything like the rooms in the pictures. Carpet and paint were old and I was afraid to walk barefoot on the floor. The bathroom was tiny and hard to move around in. Pool area was rusted and dinghy. I would recommend paying the extra $20 for a nicer hotel
