The resort looked beautiful when we arrived Christmas night 2021. At check in we were told there was a resort fee of 16% of the daily rate which was about $485. The resort fee allowed us access to the rooftop bar/lounge, MIST now known as KUMO, the rooftop pool, the hotel restaurant downstairs, the gym in the basement, and the beach amenities; lounge chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. Pros (+) The location across from the beach is very good
Cons (-) The hotel is more of a 2 1/2 star hotel. The location is great, the beds are clean and comfortable but the rest of the room is old, tile floor cracks and broken, bathroom small and needs renovation. The hotel restaurant only serves breakfast. The roof bar-lounge serves reasonable bar food. Overall the services is unethusiastic and slow. Again a very good 2 1/2 star hotel not a 4 star

Cons (-) Would’ve been perfect but when I asked for a taxi To Avis they sent me to the wrong one. Had to get another taxi from that Avis to the correct one... forty dollars later

Pros (+) This place is great. Clean comfortable room with WiFi. The staff is very nice and helpful. There are two restaurants on site - one is on the rooftop with a pool.
