Pros: We loved the service, the complementary Port wine, the breakfast which included mimosas and our very clean and comfortable room. The house and garden are beautiful and perfectly located!
Cons: The coffee was too strong for our taste.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hidden garden gem frontage with charming and ambient home is a refreshing oasis for journeyers who seek to collapse in hospitable comfort. Though surrounded by more large, modern hotels, here you are greeted by smiling faces eager to insure your delight with Cascais. We stayed here fifteen years ago and though this sea coast town has rapidly grown and expanded, Pergola remains its authentically charming self.

Best moments are never forgotten. Think of a special place for a special moment. Hotel Cascais Miragem is that place. In a luxurious ambience, with breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean, it is the perfect place for either business or pleasure.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Location — 10 min. walk to the sea promenade and old town. Ocean Views. Gorgeous infinity pool and spa (which I never had a chance to use). Spacious room. Huge view terrace. Excellent buffet breakfast. Caring staff. I loved this place. It was posh without being pretentious. There were lots of surprising extras including a small bottle of Port my last night. Cascais is wonderful. I hope I can return!
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast selection is fantastic and the view from the dining area cannot be beat! Beds are wonderful, bathrooms are well appointed and it is a blessing to have a balcony where you can enjoy the fresh air. This is my second visit to the hotel and I'll definitely be back. Make sure to visit the indoor pool area with the sauna, steam room, relaxation area and salt pool.

Pros: Excellent breakfast. Fantastic Spa on the sixth floor. There are very good facilities in the Spa which is also very clean.
Cons: The décor in the lounge is a bit loud
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful hotel! It's a massive resort hotel right on the ocean - I imagine in the summer it's insanely busy with guests, but I had free reign of all of the amenities. Service here is incredible from moving me into a suite down to topping up my coffee because my mug might not be hot anymore, cannot recommend this spot enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and quality
Cons: The rooms was too hot even without the AC connected.

Pros: This hostel is picture perfect. The vibe is awesome, everyone staying here was so friendly and sociable so it would be a great place for single travellers to make friends. Laura, the owner, is incredibly friendly and generous, and really wants you to have an awesome stay. The volunteers were also super helpful and nice. Thank you for an awesome stay - hopefully nos vemos pronto! ;)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great, magical place. I liked easy wibe of the hostel. I came with the bicycle to do some trails in Sintra and there was no problem with the bike beaing inside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked all the facilities, the place is amazing the vibe is very good ...
Cons: The only thing I didn't like is that you can't cook before 1pm, so if you're used to making breakfast eggs while you're staying you'll have to choose other things to eat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: *great location, next to the forrest, walking distance to the Guincho beach *great range of activities offered by the hostel *good facilities, you can easily rinse & dry your wetstuit
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great; yoghurt, fruit, cereals, milk, bread, butter, jam, etc. No meat or cheese, but you can get all these things from local markets that are close-by (one across the street, another at about 15min by foot). I loved the staff. Laura and Valentina are a great time; very welcoming, warm, and fun to be around. They were also helpful in driving me around to activities, booking the taxi to the airport, and other short trips I needed to make. The activities there are also a great bonus. I only tried surfing, but there is yoga (studio in the house!), rock climbing, wind surfing, etc. Definitely something to do every day and for every taste. The beach is not next to the house (about 20 minutes walk), but I enjoyed this. It's a nice walk through the woods, and a nice meditation on your way to the beach. The view from the balcony is also a big plus; you get to enjoy the mountain and the beach at the same time. Great job, girls. Would definitely return.
Cons: The shower downstairs has a bit of a delay for hot water but it was not a big problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is perfectly situated for running in Sintra, reaching Lisbon and water for Kite, Wind surfing or just Surfing. The entire place is spotless. Laura and Valentina my hosts during the stay where super helpful. The place is really relaxed, tried Yoga for the first time. Wow that stuff is hard, but I like that its good. They also can arrange rock climbing and many other things. Nice breakfast too. Many thanks xx
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place, people and vibes. Laura and her staff made every moment perfect. This place is magical and full with positive vibes. My stay is more over my expectations, a wonderful travel, a nice experience mainly because of the people at the Guesthouse. I am very thankful for Laura for everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was really nice and relaxed, its good if you want to be in the nature or so kitesurfing and surfing. Nice atmosphere.
Cons: It's not central if you want to go to lisbon and Cascais. It's good to have a car or go by Uber.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location. Nice vibe in the house.
Cons: As a surfer with sandy feet, I felt I was a bit of a nuisance. The house was spotless and not really made for bringing and storing your own gear.

Cons: -
6.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a perfect location in Cascais surrounded by restaurants and bars with lovely views over the harbour. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: It is expensive to stay and probably not up to 5 stars. Tea and Coffee facilities are not in your room they are in the hallway - Tea bags only. Taxis booked via reception are by private limo and very expensive.
6.7 Good
Pros: Quaint, clean/elegant and great location
7.0 Good
Pros: We thought we had booked the Hotel Albatroz so the Villa and its location was a big disappointment. However the staff made us most welcome. The bed was most uncomfortable and the room not quite what we expected. However we did enjoy our stay.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing special, maybe the location and the breakfast. People in receptio were nice.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Central location by the seaside.Villa Albatroz is the sister hotel of Hotel Albatroz and therefor allows access to the pool of Hotel Albatroz where one can relax when the beaches are too crowded and/or too hot. There one can have lunch as well, with a fantastic view to the sea and beaches.
Cons: Villa Albatroz is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, but I expect a few of those stars are "inherited" from Hotel Alabtroz. It has a good location but unless you get a discount it's not good value for money. Our room was a Standard Double with Sea View, but you had to stretch your neck to see the sea. Most rooms do not have a balcony. Breakfast was a bit dull as well.
6.0 Good
Pros: Service was very good. Location was excellent.
Cons:
7.2 Good
Pros: High degree of servises.
Cons: No.
5.6 Okay
Pros: Good staff and location
Cons: Standard of decoration was fair, given the 5 star rating this was poor.
5.2 Okay
Pros: The view and the quality of food
Cons: The noise outside and the lack of modern facilities
7.2 Good
Pros: the ^restaurant was very good - they have an excellent chef who creates innovative cuisie with local ingredients The wines offered were excellent. The staff were friendly and helful and I felt like I was known there rather than room number one - take the room 1 as it has a small balcony and you can hear the waves from the beach - it was very comfortable.
Cons:

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service everywhere was very good, especially welcoming part: we came for 1 year celebration of our marriage and got very nice compliments from hotel. It was very unexpected and felt very good. Also cleaning service was impressive: we just had coffee, left room to see sunset in the bar and when we were back coffee was already refilled and cups were washed. Small thing but felt very good. Historical place. Balcony in the room with a view was very good. Bar and terrace with nice view. Restaurant with high cuisine and cool chef.
Cons: Noice from the bathroom, no ashtray in the balcony, not very comfortable tables and chair in restaurant to sit for many hours. But it’s small things
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast and dinner. Food was excellent. The settings near guincho is terrific
Cons: Our room was near the reception- very very noisy and close to the aeration system, super noisy. Such room does jot justify the price.
7.5 Good
Cons: Price of food at both bar and restaurant
7.0 Good
Pros: Splendid location and a breathtaking dining room
Cons: Standard room at first floor are too small for a five stars hotel Rooms are not soundproofed
9.6 Excellent
Pros: You arrive being treated like royalty. The rooms are amazing and the view is ever better!!! We had reservations for dinner in the restaurant as well, and when we sat down and realized it was all fish (which none of us like) they were so gracious in letting us move over the the bar area for burgers and fries! Haha :) They were so kind and helpful every step of the way! Wish we could of stayed longer! Thank you for the amazing memory with my family!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location and service. Michelin restaurant impressed us too. The hotel which is a castle with history itself is worth of visiting too. Loved it

Pros: The hotel was lovely, friendly and comfortable. Our room was beautiful and lovely view over the garden and house. Really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: We did not like the no door to bathroom. But hey,
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location is great, walking distance to the Cascais centre. The house and surrounding gardens are lovely. Very pleasant and relaxing when you can't hear your neighbours. The decor is also nice inside the apartment. Staff were very friendly and nice.
Cons: We stayed in the Casa Vela Garden, in the ground floor room, we had neighbours directly above us, so we could hear everything, the floors and very thin, basically you wake up when your neighbours wake up. The bathroom was very smelly, the pipes must be old and every morning there was a bad smell. Cleaning could be better, we asked just for some hoovering one morning, and all the dirt was left in a corner. Also every single 'fresh' towel was dirty with some sort of stain as well as the seats outside so we had to use one of the towels to clean otherwise our pants would be dirty. There are no reserved parking spaces for guests, you have to pay for on street parking which will cost you around 7 euro per day (public holidays discount)

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, personnel friendly and house beautiful.
Cons: Pool looked slightly unclean.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Charming family run large house with pool. Really relaxing and very comfortable. Attention to detail in every aspect. The breakfast excellent. Staff very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended.
Cons: Location not ideal, 10/15 minutes walk from centre of Cascais.
6.3 Good
Pros: Beautiful house and lovely pool. Great place if you need a break from a day sightseeing, to come back to a beautiful garden and lay on the comfy sun beds at the pool. Breakfast options are good and tasty.
Cons: We arrived at 13h00 at the property and were welcomed by a lovely lady, who informed us that our room wasn't ready yet. We expected that, so we left our bagages at the reception, were given the key to the room and continued our day. About 6 hours later we can back to find our bagages still at the reception, it would have been nice gesture if they were brought to our room, but it was probably a misunderstanding at our end. We booked the Twin room, but I do not recommend it. It's not in the main house and you have the feeling of sleeping in a garden shed. We obviously booked this room knowing this, but it was still a bit of a disappointment especially for the price we paid (€183 a night). The room was small and felt a bit damp. The floor of the bathroom needs a re-do because you can see where people walked as it is discoloured. I won't say dirty because our room was cleaned daily, but it gives this impression. Especially to see the marks where people put their feet when sitting on the toilet is not very appealing... We've had 2 occasions when we turned on the shower a foul smell came out of the shower drain. Didn't report this because I saw it was reported by another guests on the internet, and assumed nothing would change anyway. One morning around 9am we were surprised by the music played on a big speaker next to our room. I'd advise to move the speaker, as not everyone might appreciate to have a speaker next to their room. Overall we didn't have a great experience and unfortunately won't come back. We didn't feel the warmth of a guesthouse. Upon check-out we were bringing some of our bagages to the car before doing the checkout as we had quite a few bagages, where the hostess came "running after us" saying that we still needed to check-out. We got the impression she thought we were leaving without checking out... Not a great feeling to leave with.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing environment. Good service . Clean . Good breakfast and food. Hosts do everything to make live comfortable .
Cons: Sometimes it ook some time to get thins done but this is probable that we are coming from hectic working environment where things have to be done immidiately. Pool could be heated with solar energy to make it possible to swim even in colder periods. Will be appreciated by several guest during our stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very nice guesthouse / hotel, our room was particularly nice and the staff were very welcoming and eager to please. Breakfasts were a treat!
5.8 Okay
Pros: breakfast was good, although extra was charged for any coffee not out of coffee flask. It seems that the property wasnt quite as advertised...no free pick-ups from airport...no afternoon teas...no wine tasting or yacht trips available.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: All good
Cons: The dog barking in the next door garden. Not a lot you can do about that but it reminded me of home!
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff were amazing. Friendly and so helpful.
Cons: Was just a little far away from the village and beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A real home from home. We stayed for 3 nights after travelling down from St Malo, France, to visit the Harley Davidson Rally in Cascais. So I was more than pleased when the guest house more than exceeded my expectations. They allowed us to park our motorbikes behind the security gates, which is always a bonus. We had a big comfortable room with big light bathroom. Breakfast was full of choice, and very well presented. What more could you say, everyone made our stay perfect.
Cons: Nothing

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Villa is a beautiful property, and very tastefully decorated. Our room, number 3 is a lovely light-filled room with a view of the back/side garden and the pool area. The bathroom in number 3 is very luxurious, full walk-in shower with Rainfall shower head and a hand-held power shower. The bed was very comfortable. (Two twin beds pushed together to make a huge double) There is ample storage space for clothing and other items with a rail and two big drawers, as well as a very handy hat stand which we used for our jackets and scarves. My partner used the pool a few times and said it was lovely, and that it was deep. The location could not be better, it's a short stroll from the Cascais town centre in a lovely residential area. There are a couple of very good cafes and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. It rained a couple of days while we were there and the accommodation had plenty of umbrellas for guests to use.
Cons: The cooked food for breakfast was just ok, it was quite cold a few days that we had it. Although the cook, Isabelle did offer us fried eggs a couple of mornings. And everything else at breakfast was lovely and well stocked.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was heavenly! Pillows and linens super comfortable! Room very quiet! Breakfast was good. Nice variety, with yogurt, fruits, good breads and rolls and adequate eggs. Coffee was okay. Service was friendly. Room was very pleasant.
Cons: I didn't care for the floors in the rooms. They seemed like they might have been difficult to wash easily (maybe because they were old stone or something?) so I did feel sure they were clean to walkon barefoot.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great decor, great breakfast and a well stocked bar
Cons: Our door handle fell off a couple of times but that happens eh. Not a case of not liking really. The step down to the bathroom at night was a little bit of a surprise in the middle of the night but we got used to it
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice little property a shortest walk from the center.
Cons: Soundproofing of the rooms
6.0 Good
Pros: Well located. Nice property.
Cons: It felt a bit grubby. The breakfast room floor was covered in crumbs. Our basement room smelt a bit of damp. The area around the pool was a bit grotty. A huge tv dominated the bar making it unusable unless you were keen on endless sport
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are friendly and helpful
Cons: No tea coffee and water in the rooms Double bed was two singles pushed together
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent, walked everywhere. The breakfast was lovely - plenty of meat, cheese, fresh pastries and bread, fruit and yogurt. The room was very comfortable - we stayed in a loft room so there was a slanted roof which got a bit annoying but otherwise loved it. We were on our honeymoon so we got a free cocktail each which was a lovely touch. The staff were excellent - so helpful. The pool was fab, so nice after a long hot day.
Cons: Cheaper drinks in the bar! There was no mint or limes in the bar so some cocktails were unavailable. Lots of stairs which could be an issue for anyone with mobility problems but no issue for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The villa exuded luxury and comfort.
Cons: The stay was too short... would have to stayed longer.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect resort for a family. We stayed in a duplex 3BR property with fully equipped kitchen and a large living room, during Xmas vacation. Property was cleaned daily (sometimes a bit too late). Property has a small private pateo and even during Xmas we had a few lunches outside. There’s a big garden and a wonderful swimming pool. Resort is very quiet.
Cons: Well located in Cascais, but a car is required to go to town center or to the beach - just plan accordingly. The resort has a high-end bakery and a nice restaurant, but the supermarket is in fact not working properly.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Plugs on the sides of bed, please
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice resort, with all needed facilities. The bakery in the resort is awesome! Car needed as the beach and also the Cascais downtown is bit far by walking. We did not use the bikes, but rental possible. Thank you to cahrwomen, as they did every day a very good job. Obrigado Bicuda!
Cons: The bathroom needs some renovantion, but very clean that is most important.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, nicely kept area. Car needed but easy access. Golf next to resort, horseback riding close.
Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place, great for a nice relaxing holiday but close enough to everything if needs be, you will need a car for day trips, supermarket etc. Very clean, staff are extremely nice and helpful. Very minor issue is that the villas would very much benefit from a washing machine, the onsite laundry is expensive and being a family of 5 with small children it would be a real benefit. Other than that no complaints at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff extra friendly and eager to fulfill every need... cute litte bakery with awesome fresh food. Convenient mini market.
Cons: Indoor pool would be nice

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really friendly and gave loads of great tips on what to do in the local area, the facilities were surprisingly good and I really appreciated being able to shower despite having checked out several hours before! The yoga on the pier in the morning was incredible (what a setting!!!), and the room I had was great. It was really easy to find from the train station/Lisbon. It’s not in Cascais, it’s about 20mins away but the walk is beautiful along the coast.
Cons: It’s not a dislike, just something to note- the hostel is split over several houses, so not everyone or everything is in one place.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Extra long bed
Cons: Overpriced considering there is a communal bathroom and we were positioned on a floor with an adjoining dormitory room The hotel is more suitable as a hostel than a hotel Breakfast was very poor, no mugs, no juice, no water, just fruits and seeds Would not recommend for the price, might as well stay in a hostel

7.5 Good
Pros: Relaxed and friendly property with helpful staff. Delicious breakfast and BBQ’s
Cons: This is a yoga and surfing retreat, although I booked as a hostel stay through booking.com and couldn’t do the yoga or surfing due to injuries and it left me a little out of the loop with everyone else.

Cons: Wi-Fi quality is very poor. So, take the opportunity to relax and disconnect :-) Spa is overpriced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I would rate our stay at the Grand Real Villa Italia Hotel as six stars. The location was ideal, right by the beach with fantastic sea views. Our stroll into Cascais town, was just the right distance not too far or too close. We had requested for two connecting double deluxe rooms with a sea view and breakfast, but upon check in we were allocated two rooms that were side by side. The conscierge made an effort to switch rooms for us, and to our delight we had our connecting rooms. And what lovely spacious rooms they were! We were impressed with the well planned space, luxurious bathroom and large terrace. There was a complete array of amenities, toiletries, and a travel adapter. We couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast was a good selection and the staff were always so attentive. An exceptional hotel over all!
