I got there and they did not have the type I reserved available. Tried to upsell me at almost double the cost. Would up getting down to $20 more for a car size that was bigger than I needed. Felt like a bait and switch
Good experience. Small store and short wait. Only thing I could take issue with, was the car not being ready at the exact moment I had ordered for, as the car was still undergoing cleaning. The car was however ready within 15 minutes from me arriving at the store.

I had the same clerk for drop off and pick up. Never smiled, didn't even try to be courteous. Didn't even look at the car during drop off, but was charged an additional $200 the next day. No email, no reason. How?
I booked a car but it wasn't there when i arrived - that was a little bit stressful. When i returned a few hours later to make sure the car was then cancelled, they had another car for me which i was very happy for. So a small bump in the delivery of the car, but over all a great experience

The car was great! Very clean and new and served our needs well. Drop off at the airport was quick and easy. Pick up took 45 minutes, was way too slow, and did not value my time.
Rented a Cargo Van had to wait due to no one had cleaned or gassed up the vehicle even though I was told it was ready. The van was very dirty inside and outside and couldn’t even see through the window.

The location we went to had terrible customer service. Their website said they close at 4pm. We booked for a car pick up around 12 pm and I got to the location around 12:15pm. Come to find out they stuck a printed piece of paper on their door saying they close at 12pm. We did not receive a curtesy call saying they are closing early. No email from them either. When I got to the location, there were still employees inside that can clearly see me and another couple there who had a 12 pm pick up as well. No associate came to talk to us. No associate even acknowledged us. Later on we see them run out the back door really fast and lock up. I went up to someone to ask what was going on and all one of them said was “we are closed already.” Customer service was just absolutely terrible. Had there been better communication or at least a heads up that they planned on closing early, no one would have been upset but the way they handled everything was terrible and upsetting.

Anaheim branch doesn't offer after hours return which is very inconvenient. Hertz is also not able to change drop-off location for prepaid contracts. Only after calling them numerous times they offered me to change the location for an additional fee of $320.
