The car had issues with its electronics. Check engine light came on and stayed on. Parking sensor alarm always going off and couldn’t be cleared. License plate was loose and rattling.

I did not like that they held $750 on my credit card for a car that I only rented for 1 day. After returning the car, 3 days later, I am still waiting for the money to be returned to my credit card. What if that was all the money I had for my trip and was depending on it?

Car was not ready for pickup, despite having a reservation. Waited 90 mins, only to end up with a different car than reserved. They do not keep cars onsite. Missed my brothers wedding rehearsal due to the delay.

We were unable to pick up our rental car be the credit card reader could not read my visa chip. They could not enter the card manually so we couldn't pick the car up.

The pick up was absolutely terrible, they were understaffed and we had to wait over an hour and some people had been waiting 2 hours. In addition, they charged us extra to add my spouse which is usually free. Drop off went very smoothly.

I have reserved a standard SUV, Hertz did not have a standard SUV available and they provided a van. I specifically wanted a four wheel drive and the van is not a four wheel drive. The big problem is I have been mislead by the Herts agent who told me they will give me a discount but in the end I was charged more than I was supossed to be charged on the standard SUV.
