The courteous service personnel at the office at Frisco, Dallas.The response for help while I was driving with a warning sign on the dashboard of the car was far from satisfactory.

FantasticoI have always used kayak. And each time I used Kayak I was always satisfied. The reason for my satisfaction goes beyond the pricing. But I also enjoy the comfort and ease at booking my rental very swiftly. And one last thing I like about kayak, is the opportunity that I get in spreading my choices among different rental services.

"Intermediate" SUVReserved an Intermediate SUV, but found out what that actually is, is the smallest SUV you can get. They only call it intermediate, but there is no size they offer smaller, that is the smallest. Intermediate MEANS middle so this is deceitful. That wouldn't have even fit three of our suitcases, so we upgraded to a larger one, which is of course what they intend. They also had us down to pick it up at noon, and online it shows their hours on Sunday as closing at noon. So, we got there at 11 to pick it up, and they tried to charge us extra for picking it up "early." They ACTUALLY closed at 2pm, but that's not what it says on their website so we had no way of knowing. Plus, we're not keeping the car any longer than planned if we drop it off at 11am. My husband took issue with the charge and they ended up taking it off. So there are ways they try to sneak in more charges, just pay attention. Call for hours, you can't trust the website. And intermediate actually means SMALL.

Charged me for an extra day because they did not cCar was clean. I ordered a smaller car (Ford Focus) because I wanted good gas mileage. They did not have one when I showed up so after spending 10 minutes trying to get me to pay more money for an upgrade they gave me the bigger SUV (Chevy Equinox) at the same price. The care was very nice, very comfortable so it is hard to complain but it is not what I asked for.I called the Frisco Location I rented from and confirmed they had a dropbox and that it was OK to drop the car off after hours Wednesday night. I was paying through Thursday morning but I had no problem with that. I received an conformation E-mail that they received the car on Friday morning. I asked them what they charged me and they added an extra day charging me through Friday even though the large white SUV was parked a few feet from their front door. I asked them to remove the extra day and said I had the gas receipt from the gas station they share a parking lot with to confirm the time and date I dropped off the vehicle. They said there was nothing they could do but they would talk to the manager next week about it!!!

Watch the small print!The car was new and clean.Thought I was getting unlimited mileage but the small print said 1750 miles included. Went about $400.00 dollars over that. My fault but I am sure many people missed the very small print.

They did NOT have the car I rented or a similar car! What they had was nothing close to what I had rented. The person at the counter was rude and unhelpful. I ended up renting from another company while standing in the lobby at Budget. This was on Christmas Eve and it cost me 250.00 more. I want that money back from soneone and am ready to go after them I will NEVER use Budget Rent car again.

They never gave us our rental van, which was previously paid for, because I didn't have a separate credit card for them to swipe for a deposit, which they never told me I needed until I drove 45 minutes away from home to pick up the van! I told them to use the credit/debit card I used to pay for the rental, and they wouldn't do it! THEN, they were rude as hell to me and told me to "move so they can help the next customer" as I searched for another credit card....which i didn't have on me. They basically wanted me to drive 45 minutes back home to look for another credit card to physically swipe because they wouldn't even use the credit card number and information I had online for a separate card! These people were rude assholes, and I quickly found out why they had nothing but negative reviews online. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Car wasn't ready after 2 hours past my reservation time and I had to cancel.Have cars available when customers are set to pick them up. Don't book here if you have a schedule as you won't make it on time.

Took almost 3 hours to get our rental three different vehicles before they gave us one that was able to be used. The manager told us that he would give us a discount at the end of the rental which never happened. When they change the vehicles they never change the dates on the return and had it as a one day rental with a week rate. You got a call two days before it was due back saying it was to be returned on the day I picked it up and it was ready for a week. We let them know ahead of time that I had a service dog and they gave us a vehicle which will lock the dog in the back of the vehicle not being able to get to us. So we had to wait for them again to clean a vehicle talk to hours and 45 minutes to get the vehicles that they offered clean. However everthing Else was excellent as far as the vehicle itself and the return was easy it just to close almost 3 hours to get the vehicle which made us rent a motel room for an additional night instead of being down while we needed to be for a meeting

Nothing....Had an extensive wait time when picking up the vehicle simply because it just wasn’t ready. This location cleans the cars before they are picked up instead of after they are returned. Hertz was unresponsive when I called them on multiple occasions. I Did not get help with roadside emergency when I needed it, had to make my own arrangements due to extremely long hold times. Vehicle cleanliness was terrible, had to wait over an hour for the car to be cleaned to find it was only vacuumed. I had a problem with an air leak in the passenger front tire, I cannot prove it but I suspect vehicle was rented to me in this condition simply because the tire was low the next morning after I picked it up, just seemed like too much coincidence but You never know. Hertz did not acknowledge this and said I was responsible for tire replacement if it was irreparable. Haven’t heard back yet on the outcome of that but the car has 29k miles, well over half the life of the tire, so I should not have to pay for a new tire since I did not have a new tire to begin with. Will not be renting from this location again, nor will I rent from hertz period. Very disappointed.

The cost for the rental was great. Drove Well out of my way to this location just for that.The car wasn’t ready at my pickup time. The vehicle type I requested was available but the associate insisted I upgrade which I refused. I looked at 3 cars, all of which were dirty and needed to be cleaned so I had to wait for that. It looks to me that the cars are not cleaned when they are returned but before they are rented out. I finally drove off 2 hours after my scheduled pickup time Which set my trip back. I ended up having to keep the car for 3 extra days due to unforeseen circumstances so I had attempted to reach someone at that office Several times on several different Occasions over a period of those three days to let them know I had to keep the vehicle longer but was not able to reach anyone there or leave a message for someone to call me back. I also had gotten stuck in a mud rut on the side of the road when I pulled over to check my phone. I was in need of roadside service which happened during normal business hours but the roadside assistance line said the wait times were longer than expected so I had to wait on hold for well over 30 minutes. I ended up calling a local tow truck to come and help me out. Fortunately I was able to wait but I’m not sure what would have happened had this been a real emergency that required immediate assistance. I’m not sure when this happened so I can’t say the car was given to me like this but during the course of my trip Starting a few hours after my trip started, the low pressure light came on for the front passenger Tire. I put some air in and went on my way. This happened a few times during my trip so it was clear there was a leak in the tire. I didn’t have to fill that often so I just filled it up when it needed it until the last couple of days. The problem had gotten significantly worse which forced me to fill it several times a day. Just overall, a mediocre experience.

My reservation was for 5pm. I arrived at 4:45 to find the location had closed at 4 and would not open until 8am the next day. I was leaving town at 7am so I had was forced to cancelled the reservation.

The staff was not friendly and did not explain the terms at all. The extra charges were not explained or pointed out and only when it was time to pay, we realized how many extra costs were added. When we asked about this we were told "that everyone knows what extra costs need to be included". This was very rude and very wrong. We almost cancelled the reservation.The sales person needs to spell out the terms and if there are extra costs involved, he or she must point them out and explain them and not just go ahead and charge for them.

Kile, one of the employees, was mouthing off to us & unprofessionalThey did not have my car, but the manager, Luke, gave me a nicer car instead.Kyle, one of the employees, was mouthing off to the other customers and then was mouthing off to us saying that he never talked to us on the phone even though we showed the manager our phone log that had his phone number on it. Only the manager was working because Kyle was sitting in the back being loud and rude, and one other employee was locked out of his computer so he couldn't do anything, either.
