Cons: Car was less than 1/2 full at pick up
Car indicated code 82 - oil change soon at pick-up
Car tires - tire indicator came on 1st day of trip and I had to fill up the tires. Had to travel some distance to find a gas station.
One of the tires was missing a value cap. I had to go to 3 different shops to try and find a value cap. Luckily Canadian Tire service was very nice and gave me one.
I am a women travelling on my own. I rent vehicles so I can be worry free. Wasn't the case with this rental.

Cons: The customer representative had an ignorant and condescending attitude at pick up time.
He tried to say that I could not pay for the rental with my credit card while my wife was the only driver. He insisted that their policy was to charge the driver own credit card for the rental. Following a short confrontation, he proceeded with charging my card for my wife rental.

Pros: The hospitality of your workers was phenomenal. I could not have asked for better service.
Cons: Having never driven a late model Caravan I found the brakes to be really touchy. It took a lot of getting used to. The seats behind the driver were not clean. It looked like kids had put their boots or shoes up against the front seats. I tried to clean them before I brought other passengers into the car but I think they needed a more thorough cleaning.

Cons: I went into enterprise and they told me I wasn't allowed to rent from them because I was only 22. Luckily, I went to Hertz just up the street who had no issue renting me a car.

Pros: My original reservation was cancelled by mistake. But enterprise went out of their way to find me another vehicle. It was even better than the one I booked and a little cheaper.

Pros: Within moments of walking through the door you are greeted and helped. The agents are very friendly and accommodating. The cars are always well maintained and in great shape for use. I'm especially a fan of the free drop off/pick up option they offer, making it much easier to coordinate dropping off and picking up rentals.
Pros: It was good value. The car was also very clean when we picked it up. The attendant in the kiosk picking up and dropping off the car was friendly.
Cons: When I rented my car online I made am error...I got mixed up about the size of the car, between compact and economy. I had wanted to rent the larger one and booked the smaller one...I had realized my error after the fact but when I called I wasn't allowed to change it. I was told to ask for an upgrade upon pick-up...I did not receive one. I have received many upgrades over the years with many different rental companies. I was told there were no vehicles available but when I picked up my car, the lot was full of Hertz vehicle. And it was London, Ontario airpirt...we're not talking a large Metropolitan city here.

Pros: the customer service was out standing
Cons: Tried to cancell a rental, got such a round around from Hertz called 3 different times was hung up twice, the people had then tried to tell me that billing was notn opened (was on the phone with billing less than 5 min previous) still trying to get the refound for the services that I DID not use. Good luck with anyone getting back to you, to try to resolve the issues.

Last Minute Rental
Pros: Car was clean
Cons: Fuel gauges were faulty, wipers were low quality, no winter floor mats, car exterior looked like it was in an accident and put back together.

- then i got charged again--- i will calling HERTZ again today

Picking up was terrible, everything else good
Pros: Car was clean, new, drop off was easy
Cons: I waited almost an hour to pick up the car I booked, which ruined a lot of my plans that day that were time sensitive. Despite having two computers and many people who work there just walking around, only one person was processing people. It also shouldn't take so long for me to check in, when I can provide all of this information online when I booked, and it can simply be verified when I arrive.
It said it could fit 5 people, but it was very tight so having a "roomy" rating would have helped.
Pros: The Customer Service at the pick up and drop off were really friendly, helpful and on the ball. The price was as expected from my booking, and I was happy with $20/day for the car.
Cons: The pick up location was changed via email less than 1 day from the pick up time (car was booked 5 days in advance). Every time I spoke with an Avis CSR on the phone, I was given different information as to why that is. The website is inconsistent with information about that as well, as I can still book at the 'closed' location. Very frustrating to be given different bits of information over and over again.
It started with me calling in to confirm my reservation and costs (1 day after booking) and everything, including the pick up location, was confirmed. To the follow up calls about the change in location and the change in drop off location without notice. Definitely frustrating and still trying to work this out.
