Actually it was not Dollar rental car but Hertz rental car. I presumed Dollar was bought by Hertz in Palawan operation. Still the Hertz staff are warm and hospitable and the rental car was clean and full tank when it was turned over to us in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

Instead of blocking the security deposit amount on my credit card, like everyone else does, they made a payment equal to the security deposit and then, sometime after I returned the car, processed a refund. This resulted in me losing about 12% of the money to the bank to cover the exchange rate differences.
