Cons: First of all my sister had rented the car and I was the driver unable to pick up vehicle and Tony was no help and very rude. 2nd the next rear tire kept going low and we had to stop frequently to our air in the tire. We called a lost the tire issue and was told we needed to take it to Firestone and have the tire fixed or have them change the spare. There was no sense in Alamo sending someone out for just a tire. Well if that tire had blown out you would of been doing more than just a tire. I don’t feel it’s my job to fix the tire on a rental care but then again pick was terrible so why would I think custom service would be any better. Do not rent from Alamo ever

Pros: Friendly staff and very accommodating. I wasn’t able to get the SUV I wanted but was offered to come back to get a bigger car the next day. My family & I were able to make it work though so no worries.Cons: They were really busy and I think they did well with helping all of us and getting us out of there as fast as possible.

Pros: Staff was a delight early Monday morning when I came to pick up a vehicle for a long ride North. Additionally when explaining the purpose of my rental Herman Patton, not only attentively listened but, was helpful in guiding me to a vehicle that better suited my needs. His advice has proved to provide to me a safer, more economical , and appropriate rental choice. So much so that I have just extended the rental for another week. Thanks again to all 4 of the staff, and I wish to reassert my opinion if it will help settle the issue of whether the agent claiming it was her 50th birthday was being truthful - doesn't look a day over 35.

Cons: On pick up, they gave us a choice of 3 mustang convertibles “upgrade” because our 4 door std was gone . The agent tried blowing smoke up our butts. Traded it in next day. Drop of was easy but agent was unable to print a receipt . Said they would email it. Haven’t seen it yet so don’t know if charges were correct. Not impressed.

Pros: I liked the comfort of the car and it's cornering. The staff was very nice and accommodating.Cons: I HATE all the assists on the car. It would constantly grab the wheel and forcibly turn it back into the lane if I got too close to the line. I also could not figure out the display panel without reading the manual. Also, the wait time at the Gallatin Pike office was exceedingly long. We had to wait for them to go pick up a car from the lot and it took a long time.

Pros: The vehicle itself was new and it was comfortable. It was great for the amount of people in my party.Cons: I was charged a $500 dollar deposit. Which I was told it would be $250. The customer service representative couldn’t tell me a reason why it was elevated amount. She even told me it should be $250. Second. The car itself was new and clean but it definitely had a smell of smoke. I wish they would have cleaned the air out before renting it again.

Pros: NothingCons: Everything. There was no SUV available whatsoever and that’s what I requested. I ended up with a Passat with 10 miles left of gas. The guy there told me I would have to take it to get it filled or wait for a while because they didn’t have another “big” car. When I opened the trunk to load, it was completely full of trash and boxes so I had to clean that out. I had to wash it because the windows were filthy and the inside was dirty as well. Horrible experience.

Cons: The SUV smelled like someone had smoked weed in it. The inside passenger door had vomit on it that had not been cleaned up. The interior middle console was sticky as if Soda had been spilled on it and never cleaned. The tires were worn out and made the truck vibrate.

Cons: Upon arrival, they did not accept our reservation through Kayak because the person on the reservation was not present. We tried MULTIPLE times to adjust the reservation to reflect the change in driver through kayak. Kayak was never available to do so. Because of kayaks lack of adequate costumer service, Thrifty made us make a different reservation. They charged us an OBSENE price for an average car. I understand Thriftys policy. Our frustration is with kayak and their horrible customer service.

Pros: Car was okCons: 1. Arrived Friday evening. There was a 1 hour wait in line to get a car. Thrifty shares space in the garage with Hertz et al and there was just one man behind the counter. Unbelievably bad service. Waited longer in line than the drive to Clarksville. 2. Upon return, I didn't have time to fuel the car. Knew it would be costly, but it didn't help that they lied on the form and said they had to put 18 gallons in it. The gas level was at half. Do Kia's really have 36 gallon tanks?

Pros: The gentlemen at the gate leaving the rental parking lot was friendly and welcoming.Cons: There was a long line to pick up outside, we had a reservation for a specific time. Also, when I book there was the option for economy, compact and “staff choice” for the same price, choose staff choice and got the smallest car available (economy), I would have picked compact if I knew. The wait at the airport was the worse for sure, it was windy and cold. We found out later they had a counter indoors but there was no signage guiding us.

Cons: I had the dealers choice option. But they were short cars, so then to pay $60 more dollars to get a Jeep Wrangler, but that was the smallest one they had , and it was just the 2 of us. We didn’t need a large suv like suburban or a van.

Pros: It was an easy check-in/check-out experience. The car was nice.Cons: We paid for and ordered a Range Rover Discovery (7-seater), but were given the Evoque (5-seater). The car had much less room than we ordered and paid for. We also had to buy and add coolant as it was VERY low and the light came on. The light also came on for low tire pressure so we had to take care of that as well. Then, on the way home the "Service Now" light came on, so it makes me wonder when they checked out the fluid levels, etc. last.

Pros: Pickup staff very helpfulCons: The Nissans lock down themselves with keys in the ignition. There is no note about this in the car. We were locked out fir 1.5 hours and missed our tour. The safety of this is unacceptable if we had a child or pet locked in the car with it running we would have had to break the window. Could be a very dangerous situation in the heat.

Cons: Check out process was slow. Too much pressure sales tactics to purchase pre paid fuel and extra insurance. Car was good except that it had a low tire which was corrected at a local gas station. The checkin process was unclear as there was no attendant. No signage about the key drop box. The cost was also high for basically a one day rental. The larger companies are more efficient but we where grateful that they had cars available.

I don’t live at that apartment address that he on my license so I could not produce a bill. I had to cancel and then book with another company, day of and was very disappointed with paying full price. Will never use this service again.

Pros: The gal that leased me the car was amazing! My reservation was canceled because my spouse used the default time rather than my arrival. She matched the price and was very friendly!!Cons: There was no one at the rents booth when I arrived and when I walked all the way back to the airport terminal there was no staff there. Although I do appreciate the sign that said they’d return.

Pros: The car itself was nice, clean and good quality.Cons: The day after we ordered the car through Priceline (nonrefundable), our flight changed to 1041pm arrival. We had ordered for 8pm pickup. I tried for weeks and weeks to contact the Nashville Payless desk to ask about a late pickup. There was never any answer. The phone system was apparently out of service, as it always went to a fast busy signal. We tried to work with Priceline for help, and we also called the Payless national customer service number, but neither were any help. All they could tell me was to call the local desk and nobody would offer to try to contact them directly for me due to the phone issue. The best I could get was that I could come back the next day and pick up my car at 7am when they opened again. Well, when I arrived at the Nashville airport at 1041pm, I tried to go to the desk just to see if anyone was there. There was not. I went up to the car lot and there were three floors with various rental brands, none of which were marked for Payless. There was no signage at all as to where to go for Payless cars. I went to one of the floors and asked one of the other companies as was told that he was pretty sure the Payless guys left for the night, so I took an Uber to the hotel and another Uber back in the morning at 7am. I went to the desk again, and nobody was at the desk. I went back out to the parking lot and talked to a person from another company and he said yes he could help me for Payless cars. Again, no signage, just randomly asking someone and he luckily said he could help me. I told him about the experience the night before and he implied that if I would have come to this floor last night, there would have been someone here to help me. I was very, very frustrated because I could have saved approximately $50 on Uber charges. Then, when trying to return my car at the Atlanta airport, we followed the signs to the Payless lot, where again, nobody was present. I went to another desk and asked where to return Payless cars, and they said Avis lot. We ended up have to go around the loop 3 times until we figured out how to get to the Avis lot and finally yes someone there could accept the return of the car. It was unbelievably difficult and frustrating.

Pros: Car was perfect - clean, newCons: Picking up was a nightmare. I wait over 1.5 hours to get to a customer service person to get to my car. There were not nearly enough people working. Price was very high for only two days.

Cons: The airport cashier did not explain clearly all the additional charges, which were totally unexpected. Also gave very unclear directions to shuttle, which we never found. Had to stand in a line for 45 minutes before someone came and answered our question as to whether we should be in this line. The answer was no. Some one should have answered our question way sooner.

Pros: No, rude as I so not have a 680 credit score. I was approved by Enterprise but decided to drive my vehicle.Cons: A nicer person than Sarah Losacco and less discriminating policies. I was ready to spend $600 dollars for a 3-4 day rental and they should have indicated the ridiculous credit score requirement before sending a reservation and confirmation number and wasting my time and making me feel small. Never going back!!!

Pros: Despite a very confusing mix up with a reservation I had made months in advance, they gave me a very nice car.Cons: Hertz needs to recognize apple credit card (digital) as a valid form of payment. They claimed Apple Pay was not a real form of payment, and that they had to "swipe" a card in order to verify that I was who I said I was, which is absurd considering I have multiple forms of identification, not to mention all my Apple Pay (Mastercard) information readily at hand. All of this resulted in having to cancel my res and start over from the beginning.

Pros: Staff at pickup was excellent. Car (Camry) was even better than we expected.Cons: Price was high, but we know that there is a shortage of cars available. Person at check-in didn't visually check out the card or give us a "clean bill of health" until we asked.

Cons: Travel plans change and you can't always be on time to pick up the car. I was three hours late and they gave my car away so I had to take a smaller car at the same price. This is not a good practice. The time set ups need to be more flexible.

Pros: The person who processed my rental upon my arrival in Nashville, was very rude, humiliating and treated me and family as if he was better than us. This was my first time renting a car from Avis, and my experience was obnoxious. I would never ever rent from your company again, because I normally rent from Enterprise where am treated with respect and dignity!!! Your company need to train your workers to treat people with respect and dignity, no matter your race, religion or ethnics!!!Cons: Teach your workers to have respect to human, no matter what race you are.... we are all humans!!!

Pros: Service at location was outstanding. The best ever & I have rented lots of cars !! Can;t remember her name, but she was the BEST !!!!!Cons: I didn't like that Avis was part of Budget. I hate Budget & Thrifty !!! Budget let me drive a car with a cracked windshield from Nashville to Chicago then charged a new windshield to my credit card & acted like ooppss sorry when I went off on them. Thrifty agents stole my wallet with $500.00 in it & I know nothing good will come to them from it. They did throw my wallet on the road where a nice person returned it to me. This was in Greensboro, NC. Budget sucks and Thrifty is shifty!!!!!!!!!!

Frustrating Avis experience, took my business elsewhereCons: The Avis pick up location did not have a car for me even though I had a reservation. I was told to go to the airport. I spent money and time on transportation to the airport. When I got there the Avis counter did little to remedy the problem and charged an additional fee (about $20) for airport taxes. I canceled the order and ended up renting from another company at the airport. Very frustrating experience.

StipulationsPros: The agent was helpful and helped me rent with another company.Cons: I didn’t realize renting with EZ rent a car had stipulations. I was renting locally so I couldn’t rent a mid-sized SUV and wouldn’t be allowed unlimited miles in the compact car rental.
