I didn’t like anything, because there was nothing to like. I went to get my rental at the time that you told me to. But you didn’t have any cars available and didn’t allowed me to have one. I had to buy me a ticket on Amtrak. For the money that you took from me, get prepare, I’m going to sue you. An less you put that money back on my card😡 you should not had made the reservation if you didn’t have a car to rent.

Budget upcharged us $691 for a change in drop-off site , after telling us that there would be no additional charge. Speaking with them yielded no refund. we are now going to our state's attorney general and the Better Business Bureau for help. BEWARE.

I was unable to pickup my vehicle. Avis stated that vehicle was at a different location but my reservation was the correct one in my email. Avis would not honor the reservation I made with you. I tried contacting Kayak and I was unable to contact or get a hold of anyone to correct your mistake. I had to rent another vehicle with budget and it delayed my whole trip and added expenses I hadn’t planned for. I will not be using your company again.

Computer systems were slow or something so the guy running the desk says. There was one guy working the entire line. He was multitasking so he was great but really needed more people working. Took over half an hour to get thru 4 rentals. My rental took 3 minutes to so I’m not sure what the other people’s situation was but I paid extra because I figured Avis was better. Could have paid 2/3 less and gone with Payless for probably the same wait time.

My first comment: At check-in I advised that I would fill the gas tank prior to drop off. At drop off i requested to get a printed copy of the receipt from the person checking the car in. I then noticed that she charged me $18 for fuel. I then asked her why I was charged for fuel when I brought the car in full of fuel. She asked to see the fuel receipt. I gave it to her to review. She then corrected the charges. She then commented that it was good I checked the receipt. Charging me for fuel should never have happened. Had I not asked for a printed copy of the receipt this would have been much more difficult to correct at a later date. I am very disappointed that this occurred and will think twice about using Avis again. My second comment: The windshield was dirty on the inside. I needed to clean it myself to see out better.

My flight was delayed and when I arrived, they could not find my reservation. They offered to rent me a car for the same period of time for $360 while my reservation was only $115. I refused the offer and went to costco.com to book a car to pick up 20 min after that for $156 with Budget. Never again with this company.

They didn’t have the vehicle we booked. We went to the first lot at the airport but realized we had to take a cab to a different hertz dealer. Then they didn’t have the correct vehicle. They were going to send us to a third hertz, but we ended up settling for a different vehicle.

My rental was not at the expected location. When I searched in Kayak, I searched for car rentals near the San Diego airport. Apparently there is a small municipal airport near the border with Tijuana and there is a Hertz car rental location there which came up in my search. Since I would not have expected this type of option to come up in my search parameters, I did not think there was a need to check the address of the rental location. A mistake I will never make again. However, I also will never be using Kayak or Hertz again. I will not be using Hertz mainly because the person at the rental counter in the actual San Diego airport location was not willing to help me other than to indicate that I was at the wrong location and that I should go to that other location if I would like my rental car.

The drop off was complicated moving the charges to another credit card despite our telling them our intentions before we took the car and as we dropped it off. It required a manager and quite a bit of time. Fortunately, we didn’t miss our flight but it was close despite the extra time we allocated and TSA-Pre.

I rented with the understanding that I could pickup the car at the San Diego airport. It turned out the location to pick up the car was 22 miles away and a half hour drive. And there is no free transportation available. It’s on your dime to get there. This is insanity. You need to make it very clear that the location is 22 miles away from the airport. I seriously doubt you will have any takers.

My experience was terrible I had to carry my dog and luggage each way from CBX after waiting for nearly 30 minutes ( way slow) to be assisted by someone that was not customer service oriented didn’t speak English fluently to be told they could take my debit card!!! Never again will I rent car from this place

My experience was absolutely horrible. I showed up at Thrifty to pick up my rental car that I had already paid for in full. They advised me that they were out of rental cars for the night and to try someplace else. I told them I already paid for it and they told me "too bad". I was left scrambling and had to use Budget renal service and pay almost 4x the price on top of what I already paid. I've been trying to get ahold of someone to help but they keep pointing me in different directions.

Everything was sketchy from the minute we arrived. Horrible experience picking up car. All cars offered were filthy. We, we along with other customers, were stranded at their off-off airport location when returning the car at 9am on a weekday as their office was closed during business hours. We had no transport options except for getting an Uber/Lyft back to the terminal. Never will rent from this company again.

Car was very clean. Getting ahold of staff for pick up and drop off was not easy and required multiple calls. Payment for insurance coverage did not feel transparent.
