Pros (+) The Eklund hotel was built in 1892 and restored in 2004. All of the century-old charm remains - including bullet holes in the saloon ceiling from its Wild West days. The staff is amazing - friendly, helpful, and filled with enchanting stories of the hotel's early years. The restaurant/saloon had delicious food and fun ambience. Cons (-) I hate mentioning any negatives since we had such a lovely stay in such a unique hotel. - the rooms are quaint and do not include the typical hotel extras (coffee maker, refrigerator) - we did not mind the sound, but rooms overlooking the train rails will hear intermittent whistles throughout the night

Pros (+) The atmosphere was fun. It was western and had been updated well. The room was cute if a little on the small side, but to be expected with an older hotel that's been updated. The room and the bathroom were both meticulously clean and cute. The bed was pretty hard, but given that is my biggest complaint I would for sure use it again.
