Pros: It’s in a good location with good facilities, pool and jacuzzi and walking distance to the town. The staff were friendly and the breakfast, which is delivered to you door, was excellent and very reasonably priced.

Pros: The dining, toilets and shower facilities were good and clean. The staff member was really accommodating and gave us information about the shops and also the area. It was easy to find and had a lot of different activities on site to kill time like the tramp, pool and basket ball court.
Cons: The sight said that they had a heated pool and it was opened in Summer til 10 however the pool was cold and closed at 8.30. We booked 2 units and we knew that we were sharing facilities however we didn't know that we were sharing facilities with everyone as there were so many people walking in and out and they were not from our block of units.

Pros: Staff were helpful, even when we came after the check-in time. They were very welcoming. The unit was spacious, with 2 good size rooms. They were clean and organised. It would have been preferable to have a fan in the rooms as it got hot. Beautiful surrounding. We did not have a bbq, but I would plan for that next time.
Cons: Toiletries were limited. There were 2 packets of shower gels to be used by 3 people during the stay, barely lasted the one shower. As well, no extra towels were provided in the room.

Pros: The location was excellent just a few minutes walk from the town centre. The relaxed approach of the owners was welcome and very homely. The studios are spacious and have everything we needed. They don't build them like that anymore with space at such a premium.
Cons: Can't think of anything to improve. The downstairs rooms are not very sunny but on a hot summer day this was welcome. Outdoor areas at front and back and a communal bbq area made up for that.

Opened in 2015, the Jacaranda Lodge is a great accommodation choice in Coromandel. This property features Free in-room Wi-Fi. The hotel is located close to many of Coromandel's attractions including Tri Sail Charters and Waiau Kauri Grove. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent.

Pros: Super location on a small farm. This is a guest house so bathroom ensuite options are limited, however it was not too much of a problem as it was on the same level just a few doors away. There is a shared communial lounge and kitchen area. Breakfast on the outside patio with hosts was a nice touch. The area is wonderful for scenic drives and walks and the few restaurant options in town are good and more than adequate.

Pros: Wonderful and thoughtful hosts Judy and Gerard with great recommendations for activities, tours and sights. Nice location - a few minutes drive into town which worked perfectly for us. Spacious room with very comfortable bed and linens and spacious bathroom. Quiet with beautiful surroundings. Spotless! Good WiFi. Delicious and plentiful breakfast both hot and cold with all kinds of homemade goodies and garden bounty. Kitchen facilities to cook dinner if you wanted, which we didn't use. And, a common sitting room with tea/coffee. Judy and Gerard have thought of everything to make your stay pleasurable. And it was.

Pros: Everything about our stay was wonderful: beautiful sunsets, no light pollution, so wonderful for star gazing. Only sounds were the birds calling, the perfect end to our month touring NZ. Evelyn, our host, was so friendly and accommodating. The property is packed with her artwork and it has a really safe, calm aura. Breakfast was amazing. All organic, freshly prepared and home grown. Cannot recommend this highly enough.

Each window was meshed so the lack of air-con wasn't an issue as we slept with the windows open. Evelyn made us a wonderful breakfast in the morning and could not have been more accommodating during our entire stay.
Cons: The only thing I disliked was the mosquito that munched my leg whilst on there balcony watching the beautiful sunset. I can't blame the lodge for that and it was worth it.
