4 Star with minimal customer service
Long check-in lines with little awareness of prompt customer service. No shower caps in the room! Difficult to procure any service. Inattentiveness even on concierge floor.
Staff was extremely professional, hotel in general was very nice, including the room, pool, etc. close to all stadiums, restaurants...Will definitely stay again.
Inadvertently booked the Westin in downtown rather than the airport but glad I did. Imposing, stately building and very good spacious bedroom.
appreciated updated room
seemed like the room I had was roomy, updated, and very clean. the bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated. The bed and bed linens, pillows were very comfortable. Nice lighting. Staff very attentive at desk and at entrance.
The restaurants downstairs were either very expensive, and mostly for meat eaters, or the other bar did not have any healthy food. If alot of people are there for business (i.e. not on vacation and therefore not there to indulge) would invest in more healthy eating venues.
3 hours in line to check in
We had a three hour wait in line to check in before the Lions game. Once we checked in, our room was not ready and we received no discount on the room for it not being available for the entire reservation time frame. The staff was slow and very unaccommodating. Completely unacceptable.
room service hospitality of staff
Very professional staff. The place is beautiful. Great location.
Parking was not included in the price.
Would return again
Lovely accommodations in an iconic Detroit hotel. Great bar, great restaurants, friendly staff, beautiful rooms.
Spa does not match the quality of the hotel. The space is small, cramped, and dark; the equipment mismatched and broken. Friendly staff, but disappointing experience overall.
2 day stay for Valentine's Day
-great response time -professional/courteous customer service -comfortable bed -spacious -excellent food -pool/jacuzzi -shower was amazing
-$30/day valet -small tub -internet fee (although they removed it from my bill) -pricey food -snack bar was locked, never figured it out -limited tv channels
The dinner at The Roast and the friendliness of the staff, also the location.
Our view was blocked by a parking garage construction, but they did not charge us for our upgrade.
The overall décor of the hotel. The staff is extremely friendly!!!!
The room was comfortable and very attractive. The bathroom was quite nice.
No free internet unless you joined Starwoods and when I did I got an email confirmation in Arabic! Which freaked me out. The desk staff said they didn't know what to do and maybe it was some problem with my email. I pointed out it was only the one from Starwoods. The breakfast staff were very attentive, but the meal was overpriced for the quality.
