9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, nothing to much bother and very helpful
Cons: Nothing not to like
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely BnB with really lovely couple running it from the moment you arrive. Perfect location for us as we were visiting Alton Towers. Breakfast 10/10, only one minor grumble, WiFi was a bit slow but other than that excellent stay and we would stay again if in area.
Cons: WiFi but slow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people were very friendly and accomadating. We will definitely be back
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly hosts. Great quiet location with town only a short walk away. Parking was good and readily available. Tea & coffee facilities. The annexed layout means you have a separate entrance to the owners which makes it feel much more like a hotel we didn’t utilise the games room or garden but for entertaining children you might find these really handy
Cons: Shower was unpredictable with regards to temperature. Maybe not great for allergy sufferers - this is clearly marked a pet friendly guest house which I totally failed to spot (not a problem for me but my partner did suffer during our stay)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable accommodation... close to Alton Towers .. owners are amazing as was the breakfast
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, plenty of parking, delicious breakfast and plenty of it! Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: My bed was quite hard but its what you're used to I guess. Shower was electric with low pressure.

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best night sleep I have ever had!! I wanted to strap the mattress to my back and take it with me. Highly recommended
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Stuart and Jill made us feel welcome. Breakfast was lovely, a good start to the day as me and my family went to Alton towers. Location was good however the distance is a good 15 minute drive from Alton Towers and not 5 minutes as some reviews suggest. Overall a lovely stay, and likely to book again.
Cons: Bed was a little uncomfortable and could have done with a bigger duvet.

Pros: Lovely hotel and nicely fitted out Bar/Restaraunt. Room was nice and shower amazing!!! Staff were great and lovely breakfast too.
Cons: A few things that could really improve in my opinion - Gym Equipment - No weights? Dinner - Steak was overdone and sorry for itself.. Roof top spa lockers not working. Pricey for what is was I thought.

Pros: A perfect stay for a couple wanting to get away from it all, with spa treats and beautiful food and drinks too

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, had everything you could possibly need!! Would definitely stay again :-)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in the midst of an area of new construction. The view of the Manchester Cathedral is stunning and close by. It's walkable to many other areas of the city too. The room and facilities were well provided and if the location made sense I would consider staying again.
Cons: The surrounding construction was a bother and incredibly loud. It'll be over at some point, but right now (2/20) it was in full swing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was amazing
Cons: Some of the dishes needed an extra wash before use
Motel One Manchester Piccadilly - Manchester - Bar
4
9.1 Excellent (19,580 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Motel One Manchester Piccadilly, you'll be centrally located in Manchester, steps from Canal Street and 3 minutes by foot from The Gay Village. Featured amenities include express check-out, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
7.7 Good
Pros: The location is excellent, just opposite to the train station. Room is very small but has been designed to include all the necessary facilities. Plenty of power sockets for laptop, mobile, etc. Wifi was free, reliable and of reasonable speed. Ample provision of tea and coffee in the room. Friendly staff and a good system for luggage storage in the hotel lobby.
Cons: Noise insulation isn't that good as I could hear people speaking in the other room, etc. The stool for the work desk was not suitable for me to do much work as it was tiring without a back support. Occasionally, housekeeping wasn't to the standard required as I found the same pillowcases with my hair on it, carpet was not hoovered, etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, modern rooms with decent beds, noon check out, very affordable price point. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: A little bit more information about the room would have been nice; maybe it's intuitive to others but I didn't realize I needed to put my card into a slot when I first walked in, or that the shower fan was controlled along with the thermostat, etc.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent for station. Staff friendly, helpful and considerate. Food enjoyable at breakfast. The "fake fireplace" on the tv on arrival in the room, made you feel warm and in my case I turned the heating down! Kettle, cups etc, in a cupboard with fold down door to use as preparation area, excellent idea to keep room looking tidy. Multidirectional lighting above bed for ease of reading or watching tv. Barely heard any noise from elsewhere in the building, whilst in the room. Movable computer table for use within the room. Modern bathroom, of a decent size. Very comfortable bed. Excellent decor around the dining room and reception area.
Cons: Wifi was a little patchy.
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff very nice, bar area lovely. Very close to Piccadilly station.
Cons: Very small room

Motel One Manchester-Royal Exchange - Manchester - Building
5
9.1 Excellent (17,201 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Motel One Manchester-Royal Exchange in Manchester (Manchester City Centre), you'll be steps from Deansgate and 4 minutes by foot from Albert Square. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean convenient and central with efficient relaxed staff.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s very clean and fancy hotel The room and amenities are clean..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a budget hotel only by price. The staff and the location of the hotel were exceptional and we would stay there again based solely on those two things. With the city centre right outside the front door, you can't go wrong. The rooms are small...no I mean really small. But they are clean and functional, as long as you don't have a lot of luggage. The bed was very comfy so that was a nice little bonus.
Cons: Well apart from adding a metre or two on to the room size, we would have really appreciated a small fridge for keeping milk (for our tea) and a couple of cold drinks in. Sneaky tip...if you are there in the winter the windows open so you can leave your milk on the windowsill if you don't mind a bit of a draught. :-)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location with everything you need and friendly staff
Cons: The rooms were a little too hot. We couldn’t lower the temperature. But it didn’t spoil our stay everything else was perfect
Overview Reviews
From football fanatics to foodies, business and leisure travellers - Hotel Football Old Trafford offers something for everyone. The 133-room hotel has unmatched views over Old Trafford, and offers an industry leading medley of award-winning service, food, unique bedrooms and event and meeting spaces, designed to take your experience to the next level. Hotel Football is the brainchild of the Class of 92 - a world renowned group of players including Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Philip Neville, united together not only by football and friendship but heritage, quality, ambition and an unrelenting desire to win. Since launching in 2015, Hotel Football has become one of the most talked about hotels in Manchester. In addition to the rooms, it features the restaurant 'Cafe Football', as well as a number of events spaces (many of which transform into hospitality areas on Manchester United matchdays), including the rooftop football pitch 'Heaven' and the Old Trafford Supporters Club.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was excellent as I was there for a football match at old Trafford. I was very pleased to be offered a view of the old Trafford stadium which I didn't think I would get for the price I paid
Cons: There wasn't anything major that I didn't like. The shower in the bathroom was overhead however a shower cap was not provided. The bathroom had some wasted space, as I believe the shower area could have been made as a cubicle and the wall opposite could possibly have a longer towel rail. The current towel rail next to the sink is very small for the towels provided, therefore guest may not choose to keep existing towels for longer stays.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the little extras that they provided. Hpe big and comfortable the rooms are. Tv with sky sports. And there is everything you need in one hotel. The bar/restaurant was reasonably priced as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My son Oliver went with his best mate to see Kano at Victoria warehouse for his 18th birthday prezzie. I decided to book the hotel because it was close to the venue and the reviews on booking. Com were excellent. They had a brilliant time and loved the hotel.

7.4 Good
Pros: Tantastic Manchester United football atmosphere and hype before and after the game
Cons: The beds were a little small and of course on game days it's a bit pricey. They could use a better gym for a hotel dedicated to Sport

Cons: We booked a suit got there realized it was small, stayed 2 nights and took an extra room.Day 3 we booked a two bedroom suit which really isn't it's just them bringing two rooms together. We were shown a suit with a balcony & since my artist is super claustrophobic and has a lot of luggage we agreed to that.Upon going to pay they claimed someone booked that particular room for 2 nights and we booked it right with them less than an hr ago for 3 nights. These super racist hotel people just because the person was black almost even lied they never showed us the room.We left the hotel and booked a huge 3 bedroom penthouse suit somewhere else.Mind u we had no issues we these people we just decided to leave after realizing it was more of a racist thing, I forgot to mention their services suck, they barely help with anything like umbrellas and opening doors smh we never even had a conversation with any one except the manager the day we left but go this email today claiming we were rude to their guests.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: OK
Cons: Problem at Check in
9.0 Excellent
Pros: - Great location close to the station, tastefully decorated. - Had the option of soft or firm pillows. - Plenty of outlets for charging phone/laptop/power bank. - The night/blue lights in the bathroom were a great feature - I'd love to see this more places. - Lots of general seating near the entrance, great if you're popping in and out frequently. - Bright exterior lighting makes the hotel easier to find in the evening.
Cons: - The mattress wasn't that comfortable and the duvet was narrow only covering the top and not the sides of the bed - first time I've seen something like that, so not sure if it's commonplace in hotels. - There was no network signal at all in the building. Granted, free wi-fi was available but it was pretty slow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good indeed, a Breakfast Buffet is much better rather than one getting put in front of you. A good selection of everything all around. We had a quick bite the night before in the bar before we hit the town and the food was spot on, Had the bangers and mash with a twist and it was real mash and not the powdered kind,
Cons: the only downside of the breakfast was that i had to pay extra for a Latte because they had to go to starbucks for it. Other than that it was really decent.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Stuart and Jill made us feel welcome. Breakfast was lovely, a good start to the day as me and my family went to Alton towers. Location was good however the distance is a good 15 minute drive from Alton Towers and not 5 minutes as some reviews suggest. Overall a lovely stay, and likely to book again.
Cons: Bed was a little uncomfortable and could have done with a bigger duvet.

Pros: Staff were great in every way. Very accommodating, helpful and always with a smile. Lovely character building, beautiful views and scenary. Great for bridal photographs, rooms have modern amenities and overall great Manor hotel as close to Manchester City centre as you get.
Cons: No lift and layout of junior suite was a little tricky to manoeuvre but it still worked for us to get ready for my wedding. If you're looking for quirky yet comfortable place to stay this is a lovely place.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Overall good, 4 star for me based on facilities really, staff 5 star, food 4 star, very clean, again down to staff. Food nice just too many flavours going on for us. Price a little bit high for what’s on offer. Probably wouldn’t stay again. Only due to price. Better hotels for cheaper in my opinion. wouldn’t eat here again due to personal taste not the quality as this was really good. (Ate the 7 course taster menu) 4 stars.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Location excellent for Manchester airport. Didn't have breakfast. The room was well equipped although would have benefited from more USB ports. The bathroom was compact and needed a few more hooks for hanging towels etc
Cons: Lack of bath robes. The evening meal in the bar was overpriced for the meal provided. There were not enough parking spaces at the hotel.

Pros: What a find so close to the airport after a long flight. Pizza, beer and bed. Slept like a dream and woke to a brilliant breakfast thoroughly refreshed ready for my journey North. Thank you.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice welcome. Good location, close to the family we were visiting. Breakfast first morning was quite good
Cons: Bathroom needs redecorating, towel rail rusty. Duvet cover was split. Bed not made, bins not emptied for our second night. Breakfast first day was quite good second morning not good. The cooked food came far too quickly, before we had eaten cereal. 2 out of the 3 orders were wrong, having been asked the morning before if we wanted the same again. 2 should have been exactly the same, only 1 was. My husband had asked for only one of everything and still got 2 of everything apart from 1 egg. I should have had 2 eggs, only got one, had hash browns which I hadn’t ordered and when I said I didn’t order them was told they had been put on my plate in case I wanted them! The plate was taken away to remove the sausage I hadn’t ordered so by the time I was eating the food was cold. Not a good experience. Staff making coffee for themselves while guests are eating also isn’t a good thing. I don’t think a return visit will happen.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Really nice historic building. Foyer was decorated well and kept its original character.
Cons: The bed was 2 single beds attached together, was quite an uncomfortable sleep as I ended up in the crack in the middle :/ … Forgot my tooth paste, so had to buy some from reception which I would have expected included for the price... shower head wasn't working properly so the tap in the bath was running at the same time as the shower... and had to wrestle the shower gel bottle out of the dispenser as it wasn't dispensing the shower gel on pressing the pump nozzle... room was pretty small.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Andrew and Sian on Reception were welcoming, with great personalities! We felt lovely and safe in the hotel while storm Ciara was causing havoc across the North West
Cons: Other guests were very noisy outside our door, but I realise the hotel can't do much about that except perhaps better soundproofing
