The general cleanliness of the room as well as the breskfast was very good. Room was kept neat and tidy through out my stay.... I believe the Hotel did more than meet my expectations..i have beeen to dubai before but never had a great experience like this time especially since i was accompanied by my wife and our two lovely children. Keep it up hotel staff and management.....i had no complains whatsoever...just compliments. Kindly consider providing an extra bed for families in the family room especially those who have two or more young children like we did. Thank You!
Staff was unfriendly and he wanted to overcharge.
The XVA is a jewel and a great "find" from my perspective. As first time visitors to Dubai we wanted to avoid being overpowered by the bustling growth and development for which Dubai is often noted. Additionally, we were ending a rather lengthy tour around south Asia. The term oasis certainly fit our bill. The predominantly vegetarian offerings of the in-house cafe provided refreshing and much needed sustenance to our inner being while the decor and ambiance soothed our travel weary outer beings. The terraces were perfect for soaking up the "chill" of winding down in brilliant "alfresco" fashion while our ears were blessed by the background audio soundtrack. If we'd stayed longer I could see this as the perfect place to initiate forays into sight seeing. Even without that intent being in Dubai's historical old town invited us to stroll its maze of walkways on warm, languid desert evenings. We look forward to visiting again. We weren't able to stay longer. As music lovers we couldn't access the hotels splendid playlist.
The location was very good for walks nearby. Very quiet apart from the morning prayers! Lights in the bathroom poor! Pricing vis a vis facilities of hotel quite expensive!
Staff amazingly helpful and friendly in organizing tours for sightseeing. Location excellent for walking to gold and spice souks. Tasty breakfasts with much variety.
It was in the old part of the city and enjoyed close access to gold souq and spice souq. And just enjoying a fresh juice on the sidewalk watching people. Breakfast was very basic
