Pros: Special thanks to Ivana at the front desk, such a warm and hospitable welcome and departure. She secretly upgraded us to a junior suite much to our delight, as it was our anniversary. Suite was very well appointed and had perfect views. Breakfast was lovely, so was dinner at the restaurant. Heated indoor pool had excellent views and was a great refuge when the weather got chilly. Special thanks also to the housekeeping team for being so very kind and offering to dry our swimwear since the heated towel racks were not yet switched on, and we had to get them packed for an early flight. Initially we were torn between choosing Execlsior and Bellevue. As soon as we set foot into the property, we knew we had made the right choice. Atmosphere was very intimate and personal, and the whole feel, luxurious.

Pros: The hotel views from our room were breath taking and accommodations were superb. Our room was a nice size. The decor was modern and chic. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very nice and check-in and check-out was so easy. The location to the main pile gate was a nice walk along the coast. The private beach attached to the hotel was beautiful and a must to see. The hotel restaurant Vapor was the best meal we had in Croatia. Such a wonderful experience in a beautiful, magical place!

Pros: Absolutely loved this hotel. Lovely modern decor with hip nautical touches. Spa facilities clean and comfortable. Very welcoming front reception staff. Good restaurant food. The small beach was delightful even in early November. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. The location is much better than hotels closer to the old town.

Wonderful location, beautiful clean sea to swim in straight from the hotel, amazing city of Dubrovnik in easy walking distance- close enough to get to but not right in centre so very peaceful location. The room and the entire hotel exceeded expectations, staff excellent even though right at the end of their season. We were lucky enough to have wall to wall sunshine at the end of October. We are sad to leave and will definitely return!

Cons: Hard to find and only accessible on foot. Older folk with baggage would find thid hard to do. We arrived about 11 p.m. and had to walk through the Old City with our bags. Someone finally directed us and we did get there.

Pros: I truly appreciated my stay in this hotel. It is situated in a beautiful historic building and it possesses the true legacy, taste, style and comfort. The location is wonderful and even the mountain views are amazing. The facilities are excellent, all the services are impeccable, the staff is super professional and attentive, the breakfast is generous, various, beautifully served. Delivery of the food with the room service was fast, menu was extensive and the food was delicious. I stayed with a small child and I was given all the possible support. Exquisite experience.

Pros: I truly appreciated my stay in this hotel. It is situated in a beautiful historic building and it possesses the true legacy, taste, style and comfort. The location is wonderful and even the mountain views are amazing. The facilities are excellent, all the services are impeccable, the staff is super professional and attentive, the breakfast is generous, various, beautifully served. Delivery of the food with the room service was fast, menu was extensive and the food was delicious. I stayed with a small child and I was given all the possible support. Exquisite experience.

Pros: The hotel is absolutely perfect! We had a room with a beautiful sea view and it was stunning. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful and really comfortable. We had breakfast each day in the main restaurant and sat with a beautiful sea view. There was a good selection of food to choose from for breakfast. Another excellent feature is how close the hotel is to old town The walk is about 10 minutes and its relatively flat so it is very pleasant. We are already sad to have left and are definitely coming back. We didn't spend a lot of time in the pool but it is a lovely area. There are two pools an indoor and outdoor and you can swim in the sea also. Will definitely be better prepared for swimming next time.

Pros: We booked this as our last "treat yo self" night for our honeymoon, right before we had to fly back to the States. As soon as we arrived, we quickly saw with regret that one evening there was not enough. So we made sure to make the most of it! When we arrived, our room had lovely special touches since we indicated it was our honeymoon. The view from our room was absolutely incredible. When we inquired casually about spa services, the staff scrambled to call in an additional masseuse so we could get our massages together. Even after we assured them it was no big deal, they wanted to be sure we got what we inquired about! Our favorite part was definitely the pool deck. We loved jumping into the sea with the view of the city walls in the distance. The walk to the old city for dinner was easy, even when we returned pretty late that night. Altogether, amazing stay. We'll be back!

Cons: The only minor thing was the availablity of service in the lobby bar. We had a bit of a wait a few times and on our last day we sat on the terrace and there was nobody to take a drink order. We were there just over an hr during the happy hour so it would've been nice to get a last drink before leaving.

Cons: Only thing I would say was bad is the food at the hotel restaurant. Went up to try it one evening and found out it was buffet style, which is fine but unfortunately all the food I tasted was awful except the fries. The fish tasted old, the tortellini chewy, and the pork was bland, Felt like such a waste of a meal especially since all my other meals were amazing! This place certainly got the prize of the worst meal in Dubrovnik. Maybe the breakfast is better but the dinner was surely a disappointment.

Pros: Is located just 15 min walking from the old town, I booked a room with sea view and the view was amazing. Very confortable and spacious room and bathroom, the breakfast buffet was very complete and the staff was just amazing! It was my birthday during my stay and they left in my room a slice of cake and fruits basket! I traveled alone and they looked after me all the time, the manager Ugur personally he made sure that I will not miss anything. Thanks to all the staff that made my time there unforgettable!
Cons: Honestly I can’t think about anything. I would just mention maybe the temperature of the water in the indoor pool wasn't hot enough for my taste.

Pros: Staff, even the one not speaking Croatian were very nice. Bed was very comfortable and massage was divine. I have been told that major renovations are taking place as of next week and I could not agree more, it is time.
Cons: Carpet in the room is worn and ends up looking dirty even when cleaned, if you can not maintain carpet condition, you are better off without putting one in the room. Sweet corner has Oriental influence in making cakes that are trying to look something else. I would suggest you either produce typical Croatian cakes, typical Turkish/Oriental or you get a French pastry chef and produce a real pastry. Maccarons might have a few ingredients but it is a true art to make a good ones. Yours were not. Food - please do not make any more burgers and cevapcici as you currently do. It is truly not edible by those that know how this is usually prepared.

Cons: The sink and bathtub didn’t drain well. Coffee in the room wasn’t restocked. Empty cans and bottles from the room weren’t removed.

Pros: The hotel is perhaps a little past its best but is comfortable and the room I had was quite spacious. There is a great view across the port and the hotel is close to the bus station, bus stops into the Old Town and a large supermarket. I've stayed in Dubrovnik before so appreciated not having to climb up a large hill to get to the hotel!

Pros: The hotel is perhaps a little past its best but is comfortable and the room I had was quite spacious. Cons: As it's on a main road, it can be a little noisy and the room got quite hot in the afternoon sun, not helped by the fact that my air conditioning didn't seem to work.
