Pros: The staff are great and the food in the resturant was billiant. Easy 10 minute walk to Birmingham International rail station and NEC. Plenty of parking for the rooms available. Common areas have been updated and are bright, clean and plesant.
Cons: Internet slow (but reliable) , room was a bit dated and bathroom needed a little TLC but clean and functional. some rooms are very close to busy A45 but more than adaque sound proofing as long as you don't expect to have your windows open, there is no Air Conditining so this can make regulating the room tempreach a balancing act.
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: Not much really, the breakfast was pretty good.
Cons: Our room was double booked, an irritation but these things happen. We came back from our evening out and were promised a room had been sorted, we went upstairs and walked in on another guest sleeping! Fortunately they extremely calm but this is completely unacceptable. We then tried another room and the same thing happened! Finally on the third attempt and after an hour of waiting we were provided a room. This has completely ruined my hotel experience and simply cannot recommend this hotel.
7.0 Good

Pros: Lovely hotel in nice surroundings and friendly staff.
Cons: Very expensive but chose to stay as it said we could walk to the nec for crufts, however in the morning the passage ways through were closed so had to drive and pay extra for parking after already paying an arm and a leg for the hotel. Plus other dogs were barking all night which set ours off so we slept terribly!

Pros: the room was very clean and tidy. the staffs are very helpful and polite. would love to go back for another Break.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Rooms very clean & staff were very nice
Cons: hotel itself is a bit tired looking & could do with a bit of a refurb.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in a great location for the NEC and the airport with free parking and within walking distance. The rooms are nice spacious and clean. I've stayed here 5 times now
Cons: I have to say that this time we found the hotel cold. From arriving the room was cold turned the heating up but took several hours to get just warm. Went down to the bar which was also cold. I said to the barman how cold it was and he agreed it was and turned the heating up but with the doors continually opening and one remaining constantly open with the temerature outside -2C it wasn't comfortable most people had their coats on. The same the next morning in the breakfast room I could feel the cold air on my feet and legs!

Pros: staff are helpful.
Cons: dirty Old rank. bad odours
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The property is close to the bus station (2 minutes walks away) and train station (5 minutes walks away).
Cons: You have to request hot water for bathing at the reception. The fire alarm is always on at night although there is smoking room.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The fact that it was a smoking room
Cons: I had a chair and it had only one arm I nearly cut my leg on it it was dusty windows dirty and the smell of weed the noise was realy bad the night duty man was no were to be seen the Cummings and goings all night I didn't sleep at all the staff were not friendly there were no hand gel untill this morning we know the top manager was in building that's why the hand gel was on counter other than that it was not a pleasant experience at all this is the second time we have stayed but it will be our last
4.6 Okay
Cons: Room was freezing, rarely got hot water from the shower or the tap. Window in the bath had thick black mould, ceiling on the bathroom had spots of mould. Got woken up at 07:30am by management banging on another rooms door to speak to them. Despite having a lift, which consistently smelt of urine, there wasn’t step free access to my room. Which was highly inconvenient considering I was travelling with two large suitcases. The ceiling in parts of the corridor look like it’s about the collapse with damp. Found the lady on reception incredibly rude and patronising. The no food from outside companies policy I found quite frankly bizarre, especially as the only option for food inside the hotel was a Chinese food menu, which had very little option.
7.0 Good
Pros: Comfy bed. Pleasant staff. Room was clean and tidy
Cons: No heating came on all night. No parking

Cons: The separate toilet seems unhygienic. And the room was rather bland.

Pros: Location
Cons: Very very expensive bar prices
8.0 Excellent
Pros: All good.
Cons: Only setback was the shower. Took ages to get it to work at all and then when it did we couldn't control the temperature. So it was either freezing cold or boiling hot. Other than that excellent facilities. Never even had to wait for the lift. Also thought breakfast was a bit expensive. I went without. Would have been £26 for two of us which is a lot when having to eat out for evening meal as well. Felt that the price we paid should have included it.

Decided to get bar snacks from the bar and when they arrived the chicken wings were cold and when complained was told that they are cold because we ate the nachos first :/ We booked with late check out but was woken up by the cleaners knocking on the door and eventually checked out before 12 so kind of pointless asking for late checkout . Shocking hotel.

8.2 Excellent
Pros: They gave us a room in a quiet zone so the baby wouldn't be disturbed. We got a very quiet room and were delighted.
Cons: Room service wasn't great. Stained teaspoons in the coffee/tea caddy were worrying. The baby's crib had a solid base and he really didn't like it. We used the bedspread from our bed as a mattress and he slept straight away. The next morning Room Service put the bedspread back on our bed. Obviously a comfy baby isn't a priority
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Temperature of room, size of bed, average staff
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the fact that the beds were extremely comfortable and that the family room could easily accommodate my family of 5. I liked that there was a bath as well as shower and that there were free toiletries. I liked the complimentary bottles of water and biscuits. The breakfast was very good and had a good selection. I especially liked the fact you could make freshly squeezed orange juice - this was a very good touch . Location was ideal as could walk to restaurants across the road. I liked that parking was free for guests. I liked the look of the hotel lobby.
Cons: I wish the pool was open earlier and later for the younger guests.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The bed was nice
Cons: I was put next too a class room full of people watching us come and go, the mini bar was empty and took 3 members of staff to sort it out. The room was too hot even with what little a.c came though the vents.

Pros: Location was fantastic straight opposite touchwood shopping centre

4.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff - always keen to help
Cons: Room walls are ultra thin so you hear all noise outside. Being next to a major freeway, there is regular rattling in the room when large trucks come past. The bed linen appears to be polyester, instead of cotton - which is a problem for me becuase I get too hot with polyester linen and pillow cases
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, bar, gym and the room was really nice. Shame about the hard bed
Cons: The bed was rock hard and all breakfast items were cold. On a Friday evening the were people smoking in rooms near ours and the hallway stunk of cigarette smoke.
