Excellent 9.7
Pros: Beautiful and quite just outside oxford with a bus stop almost every 30 minutes going into town.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Freidnly staff, excellent food, very nice clean modern room
Cons: My only minor gripe if there where no walk in shower or shower screen on freestanding bath. The one benefit was I had a really nice soak in the large bath.
Good 6.7
Pros: Big clean rooms, large bathrooms with a wet room shower. Great food and a nice atmosphere.
Good 7.2

Excellent 8.5
Pros: The room was spacious and pleasant. The location was great and parking was easy.
Cons: The hosts were busy with paperwork and not very friendly. We were treated respectfully but not kindly.
Okay 4.4
Pros: The room was big and the shower room was well appointed. The breakfast was good
Cons: Although the shower room was very nice it could have done with a power shower as it was a deluxe room We had to ask for a heater as the radiator was not on and didnt come on during our stay .The traffic noise was verybad .we could here too much of what was going onin other rooms!!!
Okay 5.6
Pros: Delightful premises and comfortable , spacious room providing an excellent nights sleep . ample breakfast .
Cons: Staff were very pleasant by very amateur and senior staff almost casual . The common areas could certainly do with a bit of maintenance and decoration . a request for a snack in the evening was met with the reply that the kitchen was closed early because they had a large party in for a meal ; an offer of something modest would have been nice , rather than peanuts before bed !
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very friendly staff, good food, excellent location in town. A very enjoyable experience.
Good 7.0
Pros: Clean, relaxed, homely & historic. Lovely big room.
Cons: Breakfast was included but cooked option didn't appear fresh-likely been sitting on hot plate for a while.
Okay 4.0
Pros: the location
Cons: the duvet was stained had to ask them to change it. mirrow light in bathroom didnt work. double glazing panes not on window but up against wall. ivy from outside growing inside through windows. radio on all of the time in the bar not giving us any peace. expensive for what you got.
Good 6.0
Pros: Nice ambiance, attractive historic building, friendly staff
Cons: My chair leg slid down a huge crack in the bar floor at breakfast time - in an old building things like this are always possible so repairs have to be done in a timely manner.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The food, the relaxed atmosphere and very good, friendly staff.
Cons: The power shower wasn't particularly good but hardly a bad point
Good 7.2
Pros: Historic
Cons: Could do with bigger portions of cooked breakfast,as not all like cereal beforehand.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Great oldy worldy hotel but needs modernisation of bathroom facilities. Its situation in Woodstock makes it very convenient for visiting Blenheim Palace and Oxford. Good quality full english breakfast served by polite staff.
Cons: Dont book into room one its over the stairwell and you can hear all the noise from the bar below until 12.30 ish at night. Plus when the windows are open you get all the smoke from outside below where people stand at the door. We asked to be moved on the second night.
Good 6.4
Pros: Excellent Staff
Cons: No Power Shower

Okay 5.4
Pros: Nice clean room, good tv. Ample parking. Near main road.
Cons: The way the manager talked to me when I told him I did not like the food. I ordered a hotpot (regular price £12.95). What I got was a tiny bowl of stew with sliced boiled potato on top. On the plate were unappetizing green beans and carrots (boiled from frozen?). When I said that this was not hot pot as the potatoes need to be thinly sliced and cooked with the meat I was told that "this is how we do it". I showed him many photos of hot pots on google but he was having none of it and argued and was nasty. I returned it to the kitchen but he told the lady at the till 'she's paying for it!'. The other lady behind the bar was angry with me too as the 'chef' was her son. Very unprofessional, nasty, aggressive and an altogether horrible experience. I was tempted to call the Police because of the way I was treated (single woman alone). Please note: there was no swearing however I have never had such a bad experience in hospitality.

Okay 4.2
Pros: Breakfast except for The coffee
Cons: Small room, tiny bathroom, small pool Long walk to room No Soap in bathroom No minibar in room
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Great Staff! Great workout room and Sauna!
Good 6.8
Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: THe hotel is geting a big refurbishment. Restaurant is closed, so rather than eat breakfast in a conferance room, we went into the city instead. In the bedrooms, the choice of opaque glass door to the bathroom was an odd one. Especially as in my room it faces directly onto the bed. I may look stylish, but is not particularly sound proof! And if anyone wants to us the bath room in thhe night, the doors is lit up like an enormous night light!
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: the place was clean
Cons: Jurys Inn had no charm. It was a modern space, dorm room style maze. A lot of eastern European workers with no charm. The red head curly haired euro woman need to learn to smile. I hated my stay here. No food at night. Cold AC. Wankers!
Excellent 8.2
Cons: No elevators. Long walks to
Good 6.3
Pros: Even though we had asked for a twin room on booking and had called before checking we were told there no twins available, but the reception staff offered us two rooms for the same rate as a double which was extremly generous!
Okay 5.7
Pros: Staff were good and the hotel facilities were aslo good
Good 6.7
Pros: Room was clean, warm and quiet.
Cons: Parts of the room were tired, paint chipped etc
Good 6.0
Pros: It takes 15 min. from city centre to the hotel. But it's clean, confortable and good sevice
Okay 4.3
Pros: breakfast, nothing special but both cooked and continental meals
Cons: Internet was supposed to work and free of charge in the public area of the hotel, whilst it was a pay per hour in the room. Internet in the public area didn't work. We had to repeat a wait-and-trial for over half an hour in the lobby area. Others had the same problem. The front desk staff would not give half an hour free access to internet in the room in lieu of the inconvenience caused, whilst we were in urgency in sending messages to overseas counterparts who were waiting to hear from us at their end. Bathtub drains didn't function properly. TV reception was poor.
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: Leaving the hotel during the day
Cons: Poor service, poor food and sub standard room
Good 6.8
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: The choice in the restaurant was very poor.
Okay 5.6
Pros: The food was generally very good - the service was quick - we liked the call bells on the outside tables
Cons: The premium room was disappointing .. very small. We've stayed in many better quality bigger rooms in othe hotel chains for the same or less price. Also the views from the hotel when in the restaurant were very poor - roofs / aerials / ventilation ducts etc.could be improved with plants etc.
Okay 5.2
Pros: I liked that the size of the room was good and that we had a good dinner for a gour star hotel
Cons: The staff seemed a little overwhelmed at breakfast
Good 6.8
Pros: It's location to the NEC is perfect
Cons: My late request but unable to book an extra night

Pros: Very comfortable room, loved the jelly beans!
Cons: Bathroom a little cold and no proper mirror.
Good 6.7
Pros: The ambience and service
Cons: All fine
Good 6.7
Pros: excellent english country hotel food is good but breakfast should be better.
Good 7.0
Pros: Excellent position relative to Blenheim Palace and Oxford. Attentive staff and a first class restaurant.
Cons: Lack of air conditioning in higher level rooms. Hot air tended to rise up the stair well.
Good 6.0
Pros: Brilliant range of continental and English breakfast in a nice setting. Really nice staff and good service. The room is better than the five star Randolph hotel in the Oxford city centre, and has a decent size en-suite bathroom.
Cons: A pot of green tea for two in the afternoon was £6.50 in the back garden, although we had the garden all to ourselves that afternoon. There was no lifts in the hotel but we did leave our baby's pram at the reception.
Mediocre 3.2
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: Rooms, esp bathrooms very tatty. Wallpaper peeling, paint in need of refreshing, bathrooms very tired and tacky. Food ordinary. Luggage service non-existent. Price extorionate for what was offered. Unimpressed

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very pleasant stay. Helpful and pleasant staff. Full room rates feel a bit expensive though.
Good 6.0
Pros: Location
Cons: The bedroom was very cold and there appeared to be no heating. When we asked they sent up an oil filled radiator.
Good 7.3
Pros: Friendly staff, close to Oxford city centre
Mediocre 3.7
Cons: Having stayed in a great number of hotels this year, the Holiday inn at Oxford was by far the noisiest. We could hear every word the guests next door were saying, as well as toilets flushing etc.
Good 6.3
Pros: Hotel was very nice, staff very helpful and friendly.
Cons: We used the dining room for Dinner and the quality of the food was not good at all. Three of us had different meals and none of us liked them, especially in view of the high cost. We also had breakfast which was very good, all food warm and tasty.
Good 7.7
Pros: Service was excellent, as was the food, which is always a big bonus, particularly the breakfast.
Cons: Bar prices were expensive
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We were very pleased with the sevice given to us throughout our stay at the Oxford Holiday Inn. The staff were fantastic! We have suffered quite badly in the past staying at hotels due to being a same sex couple and it was lovely to not experience that this weekend. We would definatley book with you again in the future without any reservations - thank you!!!

Good 6.0
Pros: Lovely room. Very comfortable and cosy with a good bed and plenty of hot water. Friendly Head lady on at breakfast. Plenty of gluten free options.
Cons: Very slow breakfast. Waited along time for the breakfast to arrive. Not very comfortable restaurant or bar area. No evening menu until the restaurant opened at 1900 and then very limited choice.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: The room was clean comfortable and surprisingly modern, refurbished sympathetically. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen. Very friendly welcome and old fashioned customer service standards
Okay 5.3
Pros: The fact that we were within walking distance to Blenheim Palace. Apart from that we used the Hotel as a stopping off place on our journey south and nothing else. We dined out at another restaurant in Woodstock because we did not fancy the menu at the Bear.
Good 7.0
Pros: Location nr Blenheim Palace and central of Woodstock; Staff were excellent in dealing with a booking error; room was newly furnished; food was great
Cons: We booked a four poster bed room; which wasn't available- we'd been allocated a standard room - error in their processing- staff quickly rectified by finding us an exec suite and adding breakfast and £20 off bill; bathroom was very cold - mentioned that at checkout; chimney fire at 5.25am meant that we have to vacate our room in -5 degC temps
Okay 4.3
Pros: The location is excellent. Right on the main street in the delightful village of Woodstock. There are a lot of super eating places around every corner.
Cons: We did have lunch on the first day of our stay. Lets just stay that it did not inspire us to book dinner for either evening. Try to make sure that byou do not have anyone sleeping in a room above you - the creaking will keep you awake.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Our room number 6 was fantastic, extremely cosy and value for money.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I booked the Blenheim package, when I arrived and was shown to the room, was suprised to be given the Marlborough Suite, which was awseome. With a seperate lounge, two plasma screen t.v.,s and a wonderful four poster bed. What a lovely suprise. We used the dining room in the evening, and had a deliscious 3 course meal with wine. What a lovely treat, can,t wait to return, especially as at Blenheim they turned our tickets into annual passes free of charge, so will definatelly be visiting again.
Good 6.4
Pros: Beautiful setting, lovely surroundings, good food and friendly staff. Accommodation clean and comfortable.
Cons: $review.cons
Okay 4.4
Pros: Fine old building with lots of charachter. Staff helpful and friendly
Cons: Very pricy for the room we had which was basic and we could hear clearly all of the activity in the next room. Prices of the mini bar are outrageous-also a dinner of modest proportions came to over £90 for two.
Good 6.8
Pros: Its position in the town; furnishings of a high standard, staff very well presented. Although many foreign staff all spoke English of a very high standard.
Cons: I think the costs of breakfast there is excessive, really. The bar area could do with freshening up a bit.
Okay 4.4
Pros: the bedroom
Cons: there was a big coach party in the breakfast room we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated and the noise was dreadful with people standing close to our table carrying on conversations. not relaxing at all. this hotel is over-trading on its facilities.
Okay 5.2
Pros: Visit Palace
Cons: food and drink cost

Good 6.0
Pros: Breakfast was excellent.
Okay 5.3
Pros: enjoyed dinner and breakfast and friendlyness of the manager and staff - enjoyed the open fire place - hotel was easy to find
Cons: located a little too far out of Woodstock which meant we had to use the car to visit Windsor central as opposed to leaving the car and walking we didn't realise this at the time of booking - also free WIFI only worked in the bar area not in your room - no real problem but just a little inconvenient
Good 6.7
Pros: friendly helpful staff, good beer.
Cons: noisy pipework
