Nice facility. I was locked out of my room twice. I made two separate reservations and told the individual at the front desk about both at check in However, I was locked out at 3:00 pm after the first night. I had to go back down to the front desk, four individuals deep and wait while my food got cold. Then it took the front desk person about 15 minutes to get me an updated room key to get back into my same room. Very very frustrated by that experience. Other small issues when checking in but nothing major. Was not offered my complementary water or breakfast as a Gold member. However, at check in the place was packed with a basketball tournament and lots of people were in line. Long lines maybe more staffing! Thanks for your time and efforts. Best regards, Joe Culligan
The pool was good size for short laps and it was clean. The restaurant was nice and the breakfast buffet was excellent. It was convenient to print my airline boarding passes in the business room and the free wifi was good. Overall most things were good and we are returning in August for another three night stay. Our desk lamp had cobwebs. The fitness room has a treadmill with some unidentifiable buttons and the media function on the treadmill I used did not work; there is not a lot of room for floor exercises. There were no clean towels for use in the pool area when I finished my laps and I had to get to my room on the fifth floor dripping wet.
Close to the airport and the shuttle back and forth to the airport was amazing. We had a great stay!
Quality of suites. Great full breakfast. Firendliness of staff. The first night of our stay, we returned to room to find carlpet soaking wet below the desk. Called front desk to report problem. Maintenance man was there in less than 5 minutes, found the leak behind a plumbing panel. Went to fron desk and returned in less than 5 minutes with keys to a new room. Offered to help us move. Waited outside and then went in to solve the problem. A bit of inconvenience but problem resolved very quickly. One big duvet on bed instead of multiple layers to adjust. Plumbing leak on first night, BUT see likes.
Price was less at the hotel front desk than booking it via Kayak And next time I will check it before I book it on line via Kayak Hotel rate was $99 at front desk with breakfast included All was good and breakfast was good too
Loved the layout of the hotel and the service. The TV in the bedroom wouldn't turn on.
We stayed here before in May this year and enjoyed our stay. This time they were renovating all the rooms and we got one of the newly renovated King suites which was beautiful. All the hall and breakfast areas had new carpet and paint and still had lots more to be done over the next month. Lots of workers and noise going on in the public areas so be aware if this bothers you. You still get the free breakfast and happy hour drinks but things are moved around a little each day. We were out for most of the day plus we didn't hear any noise after 5 pm or so. We used this as a base for day trips to parks and nature areas of the Everglades And even a day to key largo. You're only a few minutes from I-75 and can bypass all the traffic on US 41 when going north or south. We enjoyed a big breakfast in the morning and the evening drinks when we got back from a day of sightseeing. A beautiful park with historical buildings is the Koreshan State Park located just about 10 minutes down the street. We found it very interesting and has beautiful grounds to explore. Now for the reason of only a 4 star rating or less. During the renovations all of the room doors were removed and replaced after the room was done. The problem is they were not replaced properly on a lot of the rooms and don't close or lock properly. Be sure to check your door and make sure it closes and locks completely, ours did not. I reported this the day we checked in at the front desk and the lady made a note and said she would report it right away. Well it was not fixed. We came back to our room the 3rd day and sure enough when I tried the door handle it opened without unlocking it with my card. Someone had entered our room during the day and hadn't checked to see if it locked when they closed the door plus it was 4pm and our room was not touched by housecleaning. I immediately when down to the front desk and told them what happened. Luckily a construction boss was at the desk and he went up with me and checked the door and got some tools to fix it. He had it working perfectly in about 20 minutes. I thanked him and my wife and I checked our room to see if there was anything missing which there wasn't. The maid came by about 4:30 pm and we told her to skip cleaning the room so late and just give us some clean wash cloths and hand towels. She didn't speak a word of English and brought the wrong stuff. We tried to explain the best we could and finally she came back a second time with twice the amount we needed but we just took them and let it go. I have no problem with foreign workers but they need to at least understand the basic words to do their job. They don't have to speak fluent English but just enough to do their job correctly. This was the second time I Have had a problem at this hotel. The last time I started to check in May I was told they didn't have my reservation so I ended up taking a room I didn't want . I called booking .com and they corrected it and got me another room the next day like the one I reserved. I'm not sure who was at fault but it was corrected. I have a feeling the hotel is understaffed because of cost cuts and that's why things don't get done. A person can only do do so many things in 8 hours. Maybe the upper management should run the hotel for a week and see if everything goes smooth like they expect their workers to do??
room and location. Excellent breakfast as well
You have a wonderful staff and a very clean hotel I couldn't find anything I disliked.
Courteous staff, friendly shuttle driver, super-easy airport pickup, flexible check-in time, comfortable room, large TV, walking distance to restaurant (Cracker Barrel), immaculate bathroom Dirty/stained upholstery
Night attendant wasn't very friendly. Morning staff was pleasant to talk to,
Althought the hotel was close to airport, we never heard any planes. We also liked the rental car company and Cracker Barrell were walking distance from hotel. Staff were very friendly and always greeted you coming & going. Wished they had a full breakfast.
This is the best possible Airport-Hotel. Great location, great service, beautiful rooms. Near magnificent shopping/restaurant center. And they even take you there for free if you have already returned your car. Nice complimentary breakfast.
Room and property were very nice The "grease spill" that occurred afternoon on 8/11/10 was so incredibly bad that the horrible.....horrible smell permeated the entire 1st floor. It was so bad that I could even smell it in my room. I began to get nausious after a while....and left to go buy air freshener. Something more should've been done as the common areas were uninhabitable for a while that night.
friendlness of staff and the free shuttle bus to airport bus driver was very helpful indeed
excellant room, great beds and shower, good breakfast, would highly recommend
The breakfast was so-so at best The shuttle didn't start running until 9:00 on Saturday. Had to take a $18 cab ride to the airport... So much for airport convenience.
Great location and better deal compared to more expensive motels at next exit. Maintained very well. Conveniently located without alot of traffic. Some Florida visitors may want an outside pool. This indoor pool was great though.
The room was large. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great breakfast in the morning, free airport shuttle, fitness center and pool!
Front desk called me at 10:45 pm asking me to switch rooms because they were gonna change the carpet on my floor the next morning. Breakfast provided barely had options for what to eat.
The staff brought up an extra matress for the pullout bed, which was a nice gesture. The mattress was comfortable. The breakfast was pretty bad. Everything was cold. Eggs were pretty horrible.
We loved the room layout of the king suite. Nice an open not boxed off like the other chain hotel we stayed in before. Had a full size fridge and small two burner stove and micro.even a dish washer too. The breakfast was great each day with plenty of cut fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, make your own waffles, toast ,pastries, plus fresh blueberries and blackberries for toppers. There was also a lite fare from 5-7pm Mon-Thursday. We stayed these 4 days and never had to go any where for meals except our lunches. The evening fare was enough for us each night. You have a soup and salad plus some nights rice and stir fry with chicken another was tacos and pulled pork. It's also all you care to eat so you won't starve.you know ahead I of time what's being served. You also have wine and beer for drinks. This is a great place to stay if you are on a budget. The entire staff at the hotel was great. The check in was quick and the servers at meal times always kept everything fresh and full. We really looked forward to not having to hunt for a place for our main meals everyday. The hotel was just the right size for us kind of cozy not a giant monstrosity with people always coming and going at all hours. They certainly had everything we needed fo our stay. We were very happy. Really no negatives to think of. But I'm sure people will complain about everything just to be whining. We are easy to please people. We just want nice clean facilities it doesn't have to be fancy and Homewood Suites was this and more.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel and room itself was very clean and inviting. I liked everything.
staff was super nice, especially Patrick at the front desk. breakfast each morning was great with a lot of hot and cold choices. Coffee was actually pretty good, too. Very recently updated. Clean and new throughout, very comfortable throughout.
Location to outlet mall Paper thin walls, people coming in very late and made noise for several hours. Space under the door was to wide allowing sound and light into the room.
Close to hospitals and doctors. My wife being too ill to enjoy it!
Clean, quiet, staff was courteous. This was our second stay at the hotel and we enjoyed it.
Location Was never informed that there was construction going on right next to our room. They claimed they sent an email out to everyone, which I never got, yet I was even there in person a couple weeks prior to our stay to upgrade our room and at that time there was no construction going on and was never told there would be. We have a 3mo. that kept being woken up with all the noise. No cable the fist night. No internet the entire stay until the couple of hours the last day. Was told it was an island wide problem, yet the resort next door had working internet during the time they did not??? The toilet wouldn't flush unless you held the handle down for 30 sec. There were ants all over the kitchen. When I notified the staff about all these issues, rather than providing good customer service I was treated like, "oh well, nothing we can do about it" and got the feeling like I was being treated without respect because I booked through a deal site and not directly as if that didn't make me a true guest. Not once did any of them even apologize for the conditions. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Ever!
The proximity to the beach Staff is pleasant Tiki Bar No music after 8pm on Friday night or after 5pm on Saturday Outrigger really needs a bigger pool or a second one
Nice weather and location The ice machines location
The Tiki Bar was incredible, all made possible by the bartenders...Kimberly, Jim and Kevin. They were a blast! The patio was a great place to group up and re-live memories.
Loved the oceanfront suite, great view, full kitchen(not used though),room comfortable, balcony with fabulous sunsets, chairs and lounger, 2tv's, Staff very nice and helpful. Sent us champaign for our second honeymoon. Tiki bar very friendly, great view of sunsets. Will go again.
The room and the staff. Construction late morning after arrival in hallways. It was very loud and no warning.
The hotel was very nice, the room was immaculate and well furnished. The hotel was under renovation but that didn't bother me at all. Change requires some headaches! Didn't include breakfast. Residence Inn next door was cheaper and included breakfast. It's 2015 and hotels that charge this much and don't include any breakfast are a joke.
The lobby area is bright and inviting. A reception is held early evening with drinks and snacks. Coffee and tea available at all times. Breakfast was very good. Overall, hotel and rooms are well kept and clean.
Convenient to the airport but quiet. Many restaurant options close-by. Nice staff. As nice a Hampton Inn as they go. No particular dislikes. Shower water pressure pretty low--but typical.
Very noisy, bathrooms could be better
its availability really nice rooms clean great coffee stand in lobby comfy bed small showers a lot of kids were running around elevator looked sketchy expensive your directions on google maps is wrong, takes you to the other hampton next to miromar
Breakfast was good, staff polite Room was very hot. Very uncomfortable entire time.
We passed 4 or 5 times to find the hotel, it was difficult to spot it. They told us that they were not allowed to put a sign on the road. AC was right beside the bed and it was very noisy. No fan in a bathroom which was unusual in a hotel.
My husband and I were in the area for the weekend. Good location for us. Also liked that there was a free breakfast and Wi-fi. We'd stay again. We requested a quiet room. We didn't exactly get one. They put us at the end of a hall where there is door to the outside. It banged until quite late with guests going in and out. Thank God for earplugs!
Very clean and great location No
MY GPS could not locate this facility. I had to call the hotel to get directions- this needs to get cleared up.

Nice place All good
The room had a wonderful view of the lake behind the hotel. The location was perfect being near Gulf Coast Mall and the restaurant in the hotel was also great. The first room I was in smelled like smoke to the point that i had to leave it as am allergic to smoke. The television did not get the local channels and there seemed to be blood stains on the curtains and on the bed sheet.

Modern, generally clean, good service, and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The small details need better cleaning (doorjams, corners, etc.). I also think it is strange they have secure door locks to access their ice and soda machines.

Everything was very Clean, the staff is really nice and the hotel in general is really confortable and pretty. the breakfast was a little poor maybe if they add scrambled eggs and some pancakes will be better and the restaurant although the food is really good they don't have much variety.
Friendly staff and location close to very good restaurants at the Promende Mattresses. There was a somewhat musty smell in the hallways on the 3rd floor
The pool floor was filled with algae. This was a nice hotel 25 years ago. Also, breakfast wasn't included.
location and comfort no problems
This hotel was excellent for the price we paid. The room was very roomy and clean. The hotel is small but has a nice pool and deck/bar area in front of a lake. Plenty of nice restaurants close by, driving distance from the beach. Recommend it for the value and quality
The location was very convenient. When we checked in, no assisted us with our luggage. One of the days when we returned to our room the door was open and no one was in the room, Housekeeping had cleaned and refreshed and had not shut and locked the door behind them.
The beds were great, the staff was wonderful and everything was aesthetically pleasing. It was in a perfect location for what we were needing. I slept well, and I would stay again. I would just bring my own pillow. The pillows were flat and the AC was insufficient size to properly cool the whole room. I would say it was about 77 degrees, cool enough without blankets but not ideal. Housekeeping has room for improvement, as the corners under the vanity had a collection of dirt and dust that didn't just happen overnight. The carpeting needs replaced, it feels almost 'sticky'.
Location Because we didn't book direct and paid less they put us in a room close to the highway, with all that noise which was made worse be a use the ac unit did not get cold. As a result we had to sleep with the sliding door open. The beds are not queen but full size. There are little ants everwhere. The carpet is buckled and a tripping hazard. We were there 4 nights but they only cleaned twice. Once without even vacuuming. When I complained they told me below market fairs don't get the nicer rooms and I should book directly next time!
Pretty appearance, close to restaurants. Parking convenient. Really dirty carpets in our room- our socks were black in short order. You have to pay for the continental breakfast, and worse yet, you have to pay for a cup of coffee at the breakfast bar. Very poor business type office with old equipment and operating systems. There was even a charge for using the business center that I avoided because I could not get my work done. Extremely poor wifi signal everywhere. I had to use my phone hotspot the whole time. Staff shrugged this off as an "xfinity problem", offering no other solution.
The hotel was an excellent short stay location convenient for visitors touring the Everglades and on route between southern Florida coastal resorts and Key West. If you were lucky you would see the hotels own resident Aligator in the adjacent lake!
Location Rooms need a refresh, wear and tear of everyday use has the facility needing improvement compared to other Hampton Inns.
The location related to where I needed to be for my trip. I was able to walk to the location from how close it was.
I like bed bed Nothing It wasn't ready when promised.I got 4 not 3 or 2 or 1 one like like you should have. I've stay in hotels before, probably about 10 a year. This one is the worst of the worst. The first one wasn't ready so they put me in a different one, which was occupied by her children, the next one had been cleaned yet, now I've been waiting 4 hrs. Then they put me in a 4th. you don't know it until you go to bed if they have BED BUGS. OMG you could see them and the staff said "this is Florida, what do you expect?" The place should be torn down.
Good size room with every thing we have been looking for in a hotel for the 2 weeks we have been in Florida but have not found until now. Will definitely book into Comfort Inns in the future. Stayed 2 nights instead of just one. Brenda
I really enjoyed my interactions with the staff.
We were located on the 11th floor with a Gulf view. We were able to sight dolphin, manatee, heron, egret. The bonus was that there were at least 4 pairs of osprey nesting nearby who often put on a flying display for us. No - despite the fact that 2 of the beach tiki umbrellas were burnt down by vandals on consecutive nights.
The room was dated and not what was advertised on the website. The majority of the the room detail and the picture on the website were of the hotel next door!
decent location no mattress cover, dust ruffle, or beadspread. Just a thin sheet, with bottom mattress and top mattress exposed and a thin blanket. Very cheap pillows. a dirty old worn out futon, that was told to us would be a queen sleeper sofa. staff very rude!
View was outstanding of the Gulf & Lovers Key State Park acros the road. Area was very secure, pool area was clean & private. Daily change of bath towels & trash removal a plus. Full kitchen well stocked for cooking. Plenty of wild life to view. Room was smaller than wished for, but sufficient. No room safe, no clock in bedroom, no cork screw in kitchen for wine bottles. Couldn't pack bulky beach towels & none available for use at the pool or beach area.
The manager was super friendly and accommodating. Love the fact that they have chairs, coolers, sand toys if you aren't able to bring them. Pool area is big with great chairs and lounges. The room is huge & has a great kitchen. Easy access to the beach. All in all I would stay there again. The only problem with the room was that the beds seemed old and sunk in the middle.
Good location and beach very close. A bit noisy
good staff. Very comfortable beds with good pillows. Safe. television was bolted to the wall. This made the television’s HDMI jacks inaccessible. Your viewing options were the hotel's limited channels selection or nothing.
Nice patio for smokers. 24. Hour coffee. Basic breakfast. Nice lobby and breakfast area. Nice pool. Ask for remodeled room. Un rehabbed rooms are tired.
The property was clean and well renovated. The staff was quite rude and uncooperative. No early check in, no late check out, no extra pillows.. Asked for a quiet room and they gave us the loudest room in hotel - closest to the lobby adjacent to the elevator and housekeeping. They were not even willing or able to provide a receipt for the bill.
Facility is conveniently located near highway, restaurants all around the area. Facility is newer/ remodeld, good decor, comfortable and clean rooms Hallways were being painted, not aware of staying in those conditions. Staff was inconsistent and not helpful when requesting late check-out.
I have stayed here numerous times even when it was under construction ayah wad always pleasant, place wad always clean, and it is convenient to many places. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are so clean. Breakfast was great would recommend to anyone. Nothing was wrong
Price Everything was fine until we fell asleep. We were awakened by a horrible smell we think it was co I got from the air conditioner. We had to finally turn it off and sleep without it and it was very hot! We would have called the front desk but this happened at 1 am and we didn't want to switch rooms in the middle of the night. We told the front desk the next morning.
Very nice and new hotel. Attentive and helpful staff. We had a large comfortable room. The breakfast very good and well organized. We would certainly stay again.
Breakfast was delightful. Little difficult to get in and out if property initially. Once you know how it's fine.
It was clean and everyone was very friendly Same old breakfast,
I liked everything except my room location. Room #205 shares a wall with the speaker system for the lobby area downstairs. Fortunately, the music was shut off at a decent hour. It is also, directly above the sliding doors to the breakfast nook. When those doors opened and closed (occasionally throughout the evening, again at 12:45 a.m. and again at 4:45 a.m.), it woke me up, sounding like someone dragging furniture on a hard floor in the next room. I suppose I should have mentioned something upon checkout, but I hate complaining in person, because I always get the impression the person to whom I'm complaining, really doesn't care. I actually planned on speaking to someone this time, I simply forgot. Oh... BTW, I do like the Hampton Inn very much, in general. I stayed at 3 different HI locations this summer. Coincidentally, he sink in each of those rooms drained very slowly (filling up as I used it).
My room had a great view, and I was close to the beach. I had lots of room to spread out and even invite friends over. The ac in my living room didn't work at all, so that room was very hot. Both ac units were SO noisy! The rooms felt clammy. I wish there had been an onsite place to eat breakfast, but there were places nearby. It's just that the construction made it tough to get to places easily. One of the pools was not available, so we we couldn't find chairs near the operating pool.
Very relaxing stay. Nice Room and service. Employees were very courteous to us. Easy access to beach. Just couldn't stay longer.
great location to beach and pool since we were on the ground level we had no way to dry beach towels and bathing suits.
This motel is a real value if you want to stay directly on the beach. The older south wing units are large, clean, and comfortable with a perfectly functional kitchen and a wall of windows overlooking the two pools and the beach view/sunset. Carpeted floors are the only negative we could find. The updated north wing units have more desirable tile floors and a separate bedroom, but you pay the price. It's a nice and easy walk to tennis at Bay Oaks Park, or up to the Times Square area of Fort Myers Beach..."Should we walk the beach or the street?"
time of relaxing and fun for the whole family some of the hotel staff is not really what you expect, a little rude and did not care about guests
I liked the proximity to the pier and Times Square. It was a short walk to restaurants and shops but far enough away from the crowds at the pier to make it family friendly.
