Really great location and also really nice vibe to the place but some improvements are in order. The staff is the biggest asset as they are incredibly friendly and helpful. Where the hotel can improve...The mattress in the room is of low quality and way to soft. The HVAC system is antiquated. The paint in the room was cracked and peeling.
The staff is very nice and accommodating, but the value is relatively poor. First, the famous resort fees that really don’t include anything of real value. Second, the rooms are relatively old. The worse was what happened to my sister: after flying from Australia, she wanted to check in early and indeed they had rooms available. They charged her $50 for early checkin. This may be understandable, if you are sending a housekeeper everyday to the room, but that is not the case for them. They charged the fee, not because there was a cost associated with occupying the room a few hours earlier. They charged, because they could!
