The location was perfect, it was right in the thick of the tourist area - surrounded by the Walk of Fame; the Chinese TCL Theatre & Dolby Theatre are across the road. Shops, food, restaurants & tour buses are all close by. The hotel has a large area for guests to sit and have tea & coffee; the bar/restaurant at the front was nice. Hotel was clean, bed was comfy.
Reception can be a bit tricky to find if you enter property from Hollywood Boulevard rather than the side street where taxis and Uber's drop off and pick up as there was no signage and no hotel staff around to ask at the time we arrived, so we had to walk around a bit and lug heavy suitcases up and down stairs to eventually find reception. There were a group of noisy party animals in the next room for most of our stay and the walls were paper thin. We stayed in a standard queen room, it was quite a small room and the bathroom was very small, but sufficient enough.

The air conditioning really was super hard to use, when it was on Heat it was cooler. It just never warmed up.

Location. Staff was also very helpful. Hotel is beautiful with a very rich history.
A microwave would be helpful. Also a coffeemaker. A fan in the bathroom would be nice, also.
