The Dairy House is a wonderful stand-alone stone cottage, wrapped in a beautiful, secluded and calming garden, and tucked away in the family owned parkland of Dillington House. The house has four double rooms, the master ensuite has a superking sized wood bed, the others all have zip & link singles / superkings. One is an en-suite, the other two share a bath / shower room. Cots and high-chairs are available on request. The Dairy House is to be found in the middle of Dillington Park, the family owned parklands that surround Dillington House (which is the nearest property and a couple of hundred metres away). It has a modern kitchen, with two electric ovens and an induction hob, which opens directly into a large dining space and sitting room. The sitting room has a beautiful and very old stone fireplace with a wood-burning stove (wood is provided). There is also a conservatory adjacent to the kitchen that looks onto the well kept gardens. There is a separate TV-snug room, with a large flatscreen HD TV. There is no satellite TV, but there is a terrestrial aerial and the TV can connect to the wifi to access Netflix / Amazon Prime / BBC iPlayer etc. There is a bluetooth soundbar attached to the TV that can also play media from a bluetooth phone / iPod. The house is accessed just off the A303. There is private parking for those who come by car. You can also arrive by train from Crewkerne (15min drive) or Castle Cary/ Taunton (30min drive each). Keys can be left for you and, in office hours, the staff at the Dillington Estate are also available to help.
