Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's pool area and convenient location, with many finding the pool inviting and the proximity to local attractions or the airport very helpful. Cleanliness and service received mixed feedback, with some guests noting clean rooms and attentive staff, while others reported issues such as pests, maintenance problems, or lack of housekeeping. Parking was a frequent source of dissatisfaction due to confusing arrangements or additional fees. Overall, while the amenities and location were highlights, improvements in cleanliness, service consistency, and parking would enhance the guest experience.

Pros (+) Worst experience ever
Cons (-) Never been more horrified by a hotel visit. The hotel was a deal so you definitely get what you pay for. The hotel is located across the steeet from airport but all of the crime in Irvine must happen at the hotel. Even before we got out of the car we noticed two police vehicles at the gas station that is found next door. We walked in and were greeted by a stumbling man. He seemed threatening and g...

Pros (+) Located right by John Wayne airport.
Cons (-) Our room was not updated, when we first checked in because we used a third party we received the worst location until we complained. We had to pay $12 parking a day. Our daughter checked in with their team got an updated room and breakfast buffet included. This is our second time at the Atrium, and we won't be coming back.
