Cons:The communication was at times difficult
Cons:Dirty carpets and bedding. No electric points for charging mobiles by the bed. Noisy A/C
Cons:I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Istanbul for business. Upon arriving at the hotel, I learned that the hotel had incorrectly booked my reservation for two extra days at the business rate (I had booked 2 days at a lower rate, as I would be staying for leisure and did not want to pay the higher rate paid by my employer). Rather than fixing this, I was told to deal with it with my agency, even though I had a copy of the email confirming the length of my stay. For a 5-star hotel, this is an okay option--nothing special compared to others in the city. Most of their hotel staff are nice, but many (especially reservation and reception staff) are fairly complacent and could use a refresher on etiquette and courtesy.
