Cons:The process of checking in was very inefficient. They made us go from one counter just to check in and then go to a different counter to pay for the checked bags and another counter to check the bags in and then another counter to get our documents check. All of that could have been handled all at once at one counter. On top of that, their website didn't provide any details regarding how much it would cost to check bags in, which was very frustrating.

Pros:I don't anything about JetStar. This is my second time flying with them. First time delayed 2 hours both ways. No explanation on why it is delay. No weather issues on both sides. This time it was delay 3 times and a total of 8 hours wasted in the airport. Now return flight I got noticed that it will be delay for another 4 hours. Now I don't feel confident about this airlines will ever be on time. They might hit me with more delays. I hope not.
Cons:I don't like that there is no explanation on the delay and their only explanation is operation requirement. What does that mean? Does not explain anything. You pay cheap flight u get headaches. Next time I pay more for better reliable service. Jet Star I told everyone not to fly with your company again. It is terrible experience.

Cons:It is a no frill airline ,however they even change your for water
V
4.5 Mediocre
Pros:The check in process took over an hour as evidently my payment for extra baggage was "pending" which made no sense - I had to wait at the check-in counter and then go into back room to talk w a supervisor who told me I needed to pay more for my baggage - It was a ridiculous process and was over an hour - makes me think the budget price not worth it for such a bad process

Cons:Just a glass of water would be so nice....but how can you lock someone in a metal tube for 2 hours or more and not give them a glass of water if needed....and to have to pay such a big price for a bottle of water is cruel.....we are talking water!!
V

Cons:Just before boarding they made us throw away the brand new waters we'd just bought in the airport. We couldn't figure out why until we got on board and they tried charging us $4 for a water! Beyond ridiculous.

Overview of Jetstar Asia

Based in Singapore, Jetstar Asia is a low-cost airline that operates both domestic and international flights. For those that are hoping to visit a country in Southeast Asia, you can go to destinations like Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia, and the Philippines. If you are interested in traveling to Asia, you can book a flight to Russia.

This airline is a subsidiary of Jetstar Airways, meaning that it has several sister airlines, including Jetstar Pacific and Jetstar Japan. Additionally, it has codeshare agreements with Emirates, Finnair, SriLankan Airlines, and Qantas. The company also maintains interline agreements with many other airlines, such as Air France, British Airways, Fiji Airways, and LOT Polish Airlines.

Jetstar Asia generally offers two travel classes on its flights, which are Economy and Business. With Economy, you are able to choose your seat, bring a small carry-on, and enjoy the plane’s in-flight entertainment system. If you fly in Business Class, you will be provided with a free hot meal, a wider seat that reclines further, noise-canceling headphones, priority boarding, a checked bag, and a comfort pack that contains items like a sleep mask and earplugs.

Out of the 18 planes that make up this company’s fleet, almost all of them are Airbus. The airline generally opts to use the Airbus A320-200 the most frequently, as it has a high passenger capacity of 180 people and is particularly convenient for medium-range flights, such as between two countries in Asia.

While the airline’s main headquarters can be found in Singapore, it has three additional hubs that are placed in South Korea.
