The food wasn't. I flew 8 and a bit hours and before landing was asked if I wanted a coffee, I needed that coffee. I didn't get that coffee. We flew for 8 hours and then they ran out of service time. I thought that was rediculous. I also got this feeling that every milliliter of water and milk and everything was being counted.
Really need to improve the food options
Night flight and the crew took 2.5 hours to serve the food / cleanup till after midnight with multiple announcements on load speaker preventing people from sleeping. This is done by other airlines much better and the seats are very tight and small to try sleep for long flights.. Better for day flights not overnight.
We had booked seats 1A and 1B on our original booking, however, when it was rescheduled by Jetstar, we lost our seats and ended up on a later flight, and we’re seated in another row.
when rescheduling a very convenient flight time (in my case 11am) to a very convenient flight time (in this case 6.10am) it would be best to put all the people from 6.10am on the 11am flight instead of the other way around. Then when there is a delay of several hours due to a technical hitch, the very least that Jetstar could do would be to provide some food and drinks for those waiting - or at least when we eventually boarded
We'd have appreciated a coffee or tea as this was an early flight It was really complicated to locate the feature to purchase additional luggage. We tried several times on the computer to no avail, and managed to succeed after several attempts on the app
On time always better
It was fine. Because it was longer the staff were more attentive and the whole flight was better. Was also a bit delayed leaving.
The staff were lovely. Flight was delayed. Again, always an issue with jetstar before a flight, very annoying
Every jet star flight I’ve ever been on has had an issue. Really frustrating
The airport experience. Check in and bag drop at Adelaide airport was terrible. Security even worse.
The seats are hard and no leg room
Is really budget airline and the lugagge handling is bad, management also bad. Constant delay and lossing luggage
Jetstar changed my flight plan, adding hours to my original time then every flight I took was delayed
A330 instead of A320 Cramped up on a 5hr flight. Rest ok
the flight was delayed both ways to and from auckland
The captain and crew were very good at keeping passengers up to date with flight progress and arrival.
Delays are not pleasant
The seats on the plane were quite close and cramped but for short travel and if you're looking at saving it's ok.
Flying domestically in Oz now has got worse and worse. It is shameful how pathetic it is on Jetstar: no inclusions whatsoever, not even a magazine anymore. They don't take contactless payments so I couldn't even purchase snacks. So no tea or coffee even. Seat pitch, legroom, etc, omg., dont get me started. Seat in front is practically in your face. There is no eye or verbal contact by ground staff or any of the stewardesses. They make it known how insectile the pax are. Horrible Horrible Horrible.
Plane was delayed. No update from crew while waiting to board. Flight was good and made up time.
Every single one of my flight were delayed. On top of that when I asked for water I didn’t get it the first time. I had to ask for it multiple of time.
People were able to leave their masks off during the flight. A passenger in row 2 was using his phone on take off and landing - this was ignored by the crew who were in eyeshot.
Boarding on time and no delays once on the plane
The flight was delayed by more than four hours. We had to be at the airport 4 hours before the flight because of road closures for US Secretary of State. We arrived and got to our Sydney hotel after 1am.
Why is it so hard for Jetstar to get boarding a plane correct? In this current environment why have everyone on the plane early to just sit on the plane while they work out where their boarding system went wrong resorting to using a hand held counter to check numbers on the plane Having everyone on the plane for longer than necessary is very annoying then when arriving at the destination it takes 1/2 for ground crew handling baggage to get the bags out again this creates issues with keeping people in confined spaces longer than necessary
No entertainment at all and any food or drinks had to be ordered and paid for...crew was ok as they looked more worried about Covid rules and restrictions instead of the well being of myself as a passenger...
They experienced problems with the opening of the front door when we flew into Adelaide
Pros: All fine
Cons: I would have liked to be able to move to the empty rows
Pros: Nice cabin crew, nice boarding, ontime departure, clean aircraft.
Cons: Check-in agent at bag drop counter was a sour puss.
On board Jetstar flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 22x14x9in. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Jetstar assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
