9.0 Excellent
Pros: Free parking. Good breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Super view from the balcony. Very good breakfast.
Cons: We heard and felt wind from the hole between whole and window. Old and need to be repaired.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: At arrival, we were told we got an upgrade for ALL our 6 rooms. It is true we had announced that our family came to celebrate a birthday, but it was still a very pleasant surprise. We were doubtful about the presence of vegetables at the evening buffet, but they were many and tasteful. The breakfast buffet was spread over several tables and had literally everything you can image, never seen before, even three different types of low-sugar muesli, six types of jam, etc.. The view from the rooms over the forest emphasizes this prime location - it was a wonderful weekend!
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: Away from the center of the city nestled on top a hill. Nice view.
Cons: We booked a Leisure Deluxe room. Rooms are listed as follows: On Wyndham Site: Business Room (30 sqm) Junior Suite (37 sqm) Standard Double (18 sqm) Standard Single (18 sqm) Suite (70 sqm) Suite Deluxe (85 sqm) Superior Double (22 sqm) Triple Room (52 sqm) Notice, the only place the word “Deluxe” exists is the "Suite Deluxe" which is 85 sqm! When we arrived, we were told we would be given an upgrade of a room as our room type was not available. We were given a Triple Room. How can we be upgraded if we booked the best room they had? After complaining about the room, we were told that they only had 2 different room types: standard and business. The business room was the same as a triple. After showing the staff their website, they confirmed that it is misleading but that there was nothing they could do. They had nothing else to offer. One staff member said, if they had a suite, they would give it to us. So I proceeded to go online to find that I could still book a Junior Suite. The room was supposed to have a “deep soaking tub”. We got a 80cm x80cm shower. I'm still scratching from a bedbug bite. Mattress was sagging (we got 2 twin beds and booked a king). The room and balcony needed paint. On the balcony the paint was actually flaking off. The shower faucet was old and deteriorated. The radiator hadn't been dusted off in months. The safe was so small that you couldn't even fit a netbook... no key anyway. The sink was installed lower than code. The pillows were several years old. The curtains would not close. And we were given no maid service the first day because we left the room around noon. 4 stars? Don't go there!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was varied and decent enough, but not too many vegan / vegetarian options. The location is OK if you travel by car and parking is free. Staff was friendly and helped us if we had any requests. The view was amazing!!!
Cons: The hotel needs a renovation.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the buffet breakfast. Got upgraded to a suite which was lovely and great to have the extra space for my dogs.
Cons: The double bed is two single mattresses pushed together with a gap that can grow. Not the most comfortable. The closed down swimming pool is an awful sight, avoid seeing it by not walking around the back of hotel.
6.0 Good
Pros: This is the second time we have booked here. The rooms are fairly big, beds are comfy and the space is quiet. If you are searching for a secluded area with beautiful views, hiking and lots of fresh air. This is the place. The Breakfast is buffet style with something for everybody's taste. Panoramic view on the top floor of the restaurant or request a room on the top floor facing the river for spectacular views of the castle ruins. We usually book a room here after we spend the day swimming at Bad Ems Therme. If you are looking for a party this is not the right hotel for you. It has the overall feel of a ghost hotel as it literally feels like you are the only guests. The front desk is staffed 24/7, Free parking, Free Wifi, and hiking trails all around.

Cons: Difficult parking on the day of arrival.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast with plenty of choice and excellent position on the Rhine.
Cons: Bathroom very cramped and no English TV channels.
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel is just opposite the train station.
Cons: The twin / double room on the first floor facing the car park did not come with a kettle (and no complimentary tea or coffee, obviously). The water in the room costs 3 euros. Very basic facilities - no fridge in the room. We could hear the water rushing through the pipes whenever the guests in the next door room used the toilet. Very distracting when you're trying to sleep at night! As the room is on the ground floor, right next to the car park, it can be quite noisy with the sound of people talking and rolling their luggage along... You have to make sure the curtains are always shut for some semblance of privacy, as the door-cum-window opens directly onto the carpark... If you are a late riser, make sure to hang the Do Not Disturb sign on your door before going to bed at night, or the housekeeper will open the door on you in the morning, even if you are supposed to check out that day.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Boppard, Germany is a great place to stay. This hotel is right on the Rhine, along with many others. It's an easy walk to the city square. The hotel is quite nice. There was a Wine-Fest the night of our stay which turned out to be a blast! Some rooms overlook the river but ours did not. As with most hotels in Germany the room was very clean. The breakfast was very good too.
Cons: The clerk at the desk evidently didn't know how to use my credit card and told me the charge had been denied. Someone else in our party had to pay my room. When I checked with my credit card company I learned there was no problem, my card was fine. Also, there is on premise parking but it cost 12euro per day.

Pros: The staffs, room, view, quality everything was great.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location, large warm room with adjustable heating.
Cons: Rather unvaried breakfast. No electric kettle in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We’ve booked the apartment in the guesthouse and it was excellent. Travelling with a baby, we appreciated the separate living area with a big comfy sofa to watch the tv and not sitting in a dark room once the baby goes to sleep. The whole place was sparkly clean, the beds comfy and not squeaky like in other hotels, the staff super friendly, welcoming and helpful and breakfast in the morning delicious. the location was also perfect, right in the middle of the town! If we could, we would stay for another day, but unfortunately the room was already booked up again.
Cons: The only thing we missed was the kettle and the tray with teas/coffees you usually get. Few things could be touched up like a peeling wallpaper on a corner, or broken seal at the shower door, which made it leak on the floor a bit, but honestly these are just the minor things which didn’t bothered us in the slightest! (Thought I’d just mention it for the hotel?!)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The warm and friendly welcome of the staff.
Cons: Breakfast could have been a bit better.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff.
Cons: Dodgy Wifi.
