6.0 Good
Pros: Interesting timber building. Nice surroundings. Close to a valley (sight of interest).
7.0 Good
Pros: The secretary was very helpful. She rang taxis for us and also recommended places to visit.
Cons: On the final day, the restaurant was closed at 7pm when we were told that it closes about 8pm or 9pm. Maybe this was due to an emergency or lack of staff but we should have been pre-warned. We had to have a meal over the road at a more expensive restaurant.
5.6 OK
Pros: Very easy to book and organise stay over internet + email in English. Very good location just outside the Tatra national park.
5.6 OK
Pros: View and quiet. Full relax for sombody tired with crowded citylife.
Cons: Cleanliness could be improved.
5.6 OK
Pros: Location (close to hiking and biking tracks), inexpensive and spacy room (at least the one we stayed in). Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: A lot of flies in the restaurant during the breakfast.
5.6 OK
Pros: Great location to hiking trails and the natural beauty of the Tatra Mountains
Cons: Not as clean as it could have been, but was fine. Linens were in terrible shape.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room and beautiful location.
Cons:
6.0 Good
Pros: We booked a single and a double room for a family of 4 (these were apparently the last rooms available) but either room was large enough for all of us with a mezzanine bedroom for 2 children as well as a balcony. Location is good for mountain walks and is away from the crowds of Zakopane. Very friendly young staff with good English. Free parking, internet, table football. Overall good value at £60/nt for B&B for a family.
Cons: Breakfast buffet was OK, though consistently late to open, but the evening meals were not good - lots of deep-fried and microwaved items and nothing fresh. The Lesniczowka restaurant (1 mile west on main road) was way better and highly recommended. Hotel has a mountain stream on one side and three huge dusty carparks on the other (its a very popular starting point for day-hikes). Jacuzzi in listing was not available during our stay. No kettle in rooms so no morning coffee until breakfast at 8:15-8:30.
