The hotel far exceeded our expectations for what we paid. The hotel appeared to be very new. The room was comfortably & attractively furnished and had a balcony. We enjoyed having drinks and dinner at the 5th floor restaurant which had a spectacular view of the harbor across the street. It was very convenient to walk to shops and the ship that we were about to board for a cruise. The hotel staff was very professional and friendly. The food was very good and attractively presented. My only small quibble is that the salad seemed to have been prepared earlier and kept in the refrigerator rather than prepared immediately before the meal. But this is a minor quibble!
There is nothing good about this hotel except the location. Look elsewhere. This is not a 4 star hotel. A very dirty hotel. They do not have double beds, only twin beds which they will stick together although their height do not match.
excellent position in town more choice at breakfast
Slippers provided in room-------nice touch
Excellent location and value for money. 4 star!! not really its a 3 star. Not enought umbrellas and beds at the pool.
Excellent location, very good facilities and very helpful staff Lack of non-smoking rooms and the smell of cigarette smoke coming through the air conditioning
Location was perfect! Room was cute with a great view overlooking the water. We had a great stay and would recommend it to others!
Location, sea view and continental breakfast pillows too hard
Location and views. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was just perfect we just wish we could have stayed longer
At departure time we've been tempted to take out two of four stars posted on the hotel doors in order to properly describe the atmosphere behind elevator doors: ugly and tricky personnel, poor services especially cleaning ones, etc.,etc., etc. We don't want at all to visit again this hotel. It would be more easier to write what we did like therefore we give up.
staff were very helpful and warm, however hotel isn't in city center but you can go there easily by mini bus and just with 2 TL.but it is good and is appropriate for whom like quiet. I think they should more emphasize on cleanliness of hotel
I didnt like much my stay there. There was a problem with my credit card but afortunately the manager solved it. I didnt liked much the food and the behaviour of the staff.
I like that the staff and manager were very nice and helpful. I didn't like the food. Sometimes it seemed to me that they served same food over and over, I got bored with it after second day.
The hotel was renovated last year. Good position in city center, nice sea view, big windows, good interiors the fridge was not working, and it was not only in my room. The wi-fi connection was bad or out at all.
The view from the room is amazing The furniture is old, also the carpets
Good placement of the hotel, very nice view from the hotel room (to the sea and port), good wireless internet connection in the lobby. The hotel description on booking.com was accurate and there was no bad surprise regarding the rooms. If you take a room with the view to the sea you might also experience the bad side of this: meaning that near the hotel is a pub with loud music until 3-4 am. But for us was ok because the balcony window is sound proof (take into consideration that we've stayed on the 4'th floor)
The seaview. The old furniture, and the non fluent hot water.
Friendly reception Shower - curtain do not prevent the floor from getting wet. Stairs - carpets old and dirty.
The room service was very quick along with the check-in and out process. Because we are American picking the correct amount of beds was different from what we are used to. We got twin beds instead of a queen or king.
We got an excellant price for our stay here and a great balcony view of the sea. The staff were extremly helpful in setting up tours for us.
We were pleasantly surprised by the design of the hotel (it was just renovated we acknowledged). It seemed new, comfortable and modern. The restaurant (breakfast) on the upper floor had really nice views and every morning, there was taken good care of the breakfast. Our compliments for this!
I believe this is the best hotel in city centre Kusadasi. Everything in near the hotel and the view is amazing. I wish i stayed more than 3 days to enjoy more... no problems whatsoever.
The view from the balcony, the very nice hotel staff who know enough english to guide you everywhere you want to go. Good and comfortable beds. Very close to the sea, town center and shopping area. Some very nice restaurants and cafe bar near, on the way to town center the room air conditioner only works if the balcony room is closed and during nights in august it is hot if balcony room open and a bit cold even on 25-26 air conditioner
Location, breakfast, dinner
The price is so good The smell of the room is not good
Good value for reduced price, the promissed internet did not function. The furniture worn. Not very welcoming reception. We booked a suite but got a regular double room.
nothing. Arrived ar 4am, advised no room. Had to find alternative acc for the night. Had advised 2 weeks prior that I would be arrivided early and subsequently phoned 2 days before advising of my arrival. Rude staff, would not recommend. Woman travelling alone - disgrace.
I found everything perfect with this hotel, I stayed with my elderly mother and two teenages .
close to the sea shore and we had fantastic sea view. The hotel room was very clean, provided breakfast. Hotel has restaurant - a very good one. Almost everything is within walking distance. none
location ,close to centre, shops dining out. staff very serious, somewhat un-friendly, especiall front of house staff(reception).
The location is their only asset. The bed matress was the only good thing in the room. Furniture was old, room was dirty.
Big enough room, with a balcony. Other than that, nothing much to like. Our experience with the hotel stuff was quite unpleasant. They were almost rude, not helpful and couldn't care less if we were satisfied with the services or not. The rooms have old furniture, the cleanliness clearly suffers (dirt on the sink and in the shower cabin); when we arrived there were no towels at all (and we had to ask for them 3 times, before getting a couple ourselves from the receptionist). The matress is hard as a rock. The wi-fi only works in the pool and reception area, not in the rooms.
excellent hotel, very clean and cozzy
The public areas (ie: pool) were very nice. Room was quite large, with aircon. The room itself felt very budget - no TV, poor mattress. Did not have a proper bathroom - a basin in the corner that only had cold water. Wireless internet did not work in the room - had to sit in the pool area to use it. Pool usage times were very limited.
I had a suite, with a french bed, kitchenette (single electric burner, dishes, refridgerator, silverware, sink and hot water kettle. worked The air conditioner worked perfect and I had a balcony with a table and two chairs, the free WiFi worked on my balcony. The hotel receptionist charged my credit card for the room without verifying that was the method of payment I chose. Would have prefered them to ask at check in what method of payment I would be using.
Great value for the money. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good location.
We were very pleased with Hotel Sezgin. We visited in early October which may be a slightly low season, but it was certainly the best value hotel we encountered on an extended trip. Sezgin and Dennis make a good team and went out of their way to make sure we got the most out of our trip to Kusadasi. Sezgin's help in getting us to the places we wanted to visit was much appreciated and I would say that his arrangements were tailored to our preferences and certainly not more expensive than other options - in particular the arrangements he made to get us to Ephesus were just what we wanted and much less costly than an organised tour. The room was very spacious and the bar fridge and electric jug appreciated. The bathroom had been cleaned ok, but it was in need of a scrub.
The staff here are very helpful and welcomes you like part of their own family and go out ab their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are unbeliveble big great and new beds and parket floors .The rooms are very very large clean and new renowaited and 5 star level maybe ower Family atmosphere and the location and the staff they can speak fluently german english and japanese.
Good location, right in the city center, near the sea and not far from the dolmuş stop. Many facilities in the nearby (shops, restaurants, travel agencies, ...). Very good breakfast. There's a pool, a nice common room and a pretty garden. Free internet and A/C. Good accomodation for backpackers. The room was really tiny (less than 10m2), the bathroom was very old and unclean. Many broken things (soap dispenser, water tap, mattress, wardrobe). Completely different from the description and pictures on the web. No kitchen in my room, nor minibar, TV, bath or balcony (they declare such stuff as room facilities). If you want to book, ask about which room you'll be given. No credit cards!
My partner and I are keen travellers, and like our independence. When passing through Kusadasi we stayed at the Sezgin for three days, walking the beaches of the Delik National Park during the visit. We had the pleasure of a large, airy spotlessly clean room, very reasonable rates and a friendly staff. The staff are attentive without being ovewhelming, and we were not pressed with the usual requests that we take organised tours, though these were available if required. We reccommend the place highly.
The swimming pool, the room. Nothing
near shops The front staff was very helpful and nice but the night guy was sleeping when he was supposed to have started breakfast. Breakfast hours are rather late. The room itself was large but the beds did not have any blankets (only sheets, no mattress cover and no fitted sheets). The sheets on the queen bed were for a double bed size so they were too narrow. You could see the mattress thru the sheets. There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom - not sparkling clean either...I went to the fron desk about it and they were quick to answer my requests but they did not understand what I meant about the fitted sheets and mattress cover. They tried their best to help but I think that they don't have the proper equipment
The hotel was charming (location and looks) and had internet facilities the beds were uncomfortable (old?)
The Hotel was really good for the price. For the independent traveller, Kusadasi isn't really a destination I would recomend, but as a stopping point or exit point for greece then it's fine. Hotel was good though.
Absolut tot,in special personalul hotelier- extraordinar
The hotel is worthy of his class. Everything was on the level. Unfortunately the hotel beach is not suitable for swimming.
Not much at all, I thought the welcoming staff were quite rude. A form was placed in front of me on my arrival and told to write in my details while reffering to my wife as "her". Air conditioning did not work so we were moved to another room. In the other room, there was no hot water and when reported we were abruptly told that it would get hot if we just waited and stopped calling about it. The pool area was very dirty and the man behind the pool bar could not stop telling us about how bad the Australian soccer team was, to the point that we left the area. The breakfast was very bad and unhieginic. The tiolet leaked all through the night. Could not wait to get out of there!
The hotel was built by renovating exisitng old houses in the area and has character. It is very clean, and tastefully decorated. It (though difficult to reach by car at first) is centrally located with convenient access to the center by foot. No.
It's necessary explain better about the hotel direction. It was hard to find the hotel, we need to hire a taxi.
The only word I can use is excellent with the exception of an unheated outdoor pool. I have nothing bad to say about this facility
Comfortabale and homely environment
When the owers were on site it was a warm and cozy place breakfast was very repeatative...very little fresh fruit, in a place where fruit is everywhere
Amazing place, nice rooms, great pool and great food! The Staff was also really great! They treat you like their own family, and even have afternoon tea all together. The owner is always hanging around and they do a great job of making sure you enjoy your stay! I highly recommend staying here!
Don't look anywhere else as Villa Konak is simply incredible. The hotel manager (Harley) and his staff go out of their way to make your stay the best experience possible. He spoke english very well and was more than helpful with travel trips, basic city information and anything else we could think of. The room was spotless, breakfast was excellent, and there is plenty of room on the grounds and around the pool to relax. Big library of books and free pool table and internet (+ Wi-Fi). Villa Konak makes you feel at home with your self serve bar and snacks...if you want something just help yourself and mark it down on the clipboard. It doesn't get any easier than that. Great location as well, 150 m from the centre of all the action.
There are many spaces for relaxation within the hotel and I appreciated the lounges for reading designed in certain quiet places around. I liked that the rooms are designed to keep the coolness throughout the heat of the day. Parking is a real pain...
Spacious and confortable rooms, nice atmosphere and open common spaces in courtyards and gardens. Very good located near the Kusavasi Bazar and central restaurants. My bed had and eiderdown instead I would had prefered a sheet. It was still good tempeture at night in October.
Service was great and room very spacious
Original hotel with unique experience of Ottoman style accomodation Problematic neighbourhood, access to the hotel and limited parking space
the hotel very convenient to walk in the city center no
Good location, big rooms, staff and manager very helpful and friendly. Very small shower, not very clean the room.
the location This hotel is well past its sell by date. It is tired and grubby looking and needs a full overhaul and repainted
The location was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, the accommodation spacious and comfortable.
I liked the location of the hotel, which was perfect for me. Also, the staff, and the manager were very helpful and trying to help in any way. The price of the hotel through your website was very reasnable for a family, and we liked the rooms, which they are very will equiped for a family with four adults and one child. Next time , I will conceder staying in this hotel. Thank you. the only thing is if a shining products are used for cleaning the bathroom, it would look more cleaness at least if it used when a new guest come .
The staff at the hotel make the whole experience amazing so helpfull and kind they looked after us so well.
It was casual and comfortable. It had a pool and great location. Not all rooms are renovated yet.
the staff are excellent, makes u feel at home. they very friendly and helpful, there,s nothing to complaint about the services. recommended for holiday and honeymoon. u guys did a fantastic job, well done. just bit noisy at nite, coz the nite club just next door to the apart hotel.
Good location if you want to stay close to the bars and shopping. Don´t expect any kind of luxury though. Cleaning during my 6-days long stay was basicly non-existing.
The staff was sincere and nice... It wasn't clean enough.. Hotel needs to be looked after more..
Great location and value for money!
Good view, on the beach, can see Pigeon Island, fair rate. I think it is a not very new hotel which request some modernizations. Very simple rooms, poor bathrooms, the smell is not so god, something usual for Turkey at 3 stars.
The view in the morning was great. I also liked the coffee at the breakfast. It is old. Two separated beds as if we were in the communism. Old furniture (an antique non functional radio built in the bedside), door not closing very well. Noisy. Pool is like a bigger bath tub.
It is close to the city center. 1. In spite of the announcements at the web site, there is no internet available at the rooms. 2. Rooms do not have a regrigerator. 3. After booking, hotel management attempts to charge additional fees for a room with sea view. 4. Kitchen provide bad quality food, without any alterations throughout the week.
Location to beach and town Reception staff very surly
Easy access, quality of the bed Old equipments, small room, poor light, very noisy (even with closed windows), cheap breakfast
The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff was excellent and the hotel met all of our needs.
We had a quiet and cold room so we slept well. Small parking that was already full so we had to park to other place for extra money. Food was horror, no other hotel had so horrible food in Turkey, impossible to eat at dinner, breakfast was a little better. Very old furniture in the room, hotel really needs a renovation. We have booked for this only to be able to see Efes.
Location is good, right in the middle of the beach and our room is facing the sea and opposite to the beach. The hotel is very old, a lot of salt damped on the wall and our toilet is leaking. The breakfast can be skipped as very poor. Fly everywhere in the restaurant. The staff was not helpful.
All the best!
we really like the service. all the staff was very polite and friendly. they never clean the room it was already dirty when we check in,the sheets had hols the towels really old, bathroom and kitchen dirty. we make reservation for 4 rooms, and 4 of them was same. we don t care very much about it because we ve been to Kusadasi for party,(4 young couples) but we would not go back.Even for 25euro per night they should keep clean the rooms.
English-speaking staff, reasonable sized rooms, some seaview I had to pay extra for the Aircon
it was low season and the rate was cheap Sing $50 one night
Its location was adequate. Dirty rooms, hard beds, cigarette smell throughout and dirty run down hotel. Dont be fooled by the photoshopped pictures.
Proximity to the town central and the weekly market. Great pool. Front desk staff was unfriendly & unhelpful. The room was not very clean and the bed was horrible.
Rooms are big with a kitchen. Good shower. Nice tv channels. Not just Turkish channels but for example also National Geographic or bvn. The staff was far from friendly. Instead of welcome you they asked to pay immediately without showing the room first. Really noisy at night which make sleep difficult when you want your window open. Sun hides behind the buildings really soon when you are sunbathing next to the swimming pool.
