Cons: Trying to get out of the place onto 535 is a nightmare. Traffic at all hours. Noisy if you have room that abuts main road due to cars going by. Rooms need modernizing, very dated. Washer and dryer very noisy. Still better than staying at a hotel as far as value and comfort. Did not appreciate time share pitch when checking in and him calling me at my room to repeat again. No means no!

Cons: We visited in late January 2019 (low season ?) for 9 nights. Check in took an hour of our valuable time. We arrived early at 11 am. Our room wasn’t ready until 4 pm. Exterior corridors. Cocorroaches at night. Rooms run too small for a family of 3. You can’t walk and eat on a table or store your luggage if you need two beds. Decor is nice for the kids (new toy story area room) Food is the same every night. They give you no plates but they throw your food on a tray covered with a thin paper ??? No plates, really Disney ?? Try cutting a steak on a paper with a plastic knife. Pillows are terrible for your neck. No value for money. Now you have to pay 12 extra usd per night for parking your car !! They should charge people for using their buses which they don’t (as for now).

Pros: Value good for Disney area. Appreciate transportation to various Disney locations. Food Court had good variety & quality, but very expensive. All Star gives opportunity to bring your own snacks, mini-fridge in unit & public use of microwave in Food Court. WDW now allows private food/drink brought by you into parks, which was not allowed when our kids were young. *Take advantage of that! All-Star Movies is NOT a luxury hotel, but clean & safe, and very agreeable & helpful staff. Overall, positive stay.

Pros: We were able to check in before 3 pm before we headed to Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas, we are also Annual Passholders so we could get into the park earlier. We liked the checkin early so we could get to the park, spend time there and not have to go back to the hotel to check in, then head back to Magic Kingdom. I also like the updates by texting when our room would be ready.
Cons: I did not get the Preferred room that I had paid for. Our own magic bands did not work on our door to our room, so we had to go back to the front desk to get another band.

Pros: With Covid restrictions in place, Disney’s All Star Movies Resort (along with the WDW parks and Universal) made it work. With people from all over, we felt safe. They made it extremely clear what protocols would be in place BEFORE making any reservations. The Disney cast members were graciously reminding the few we saw that needed to be reminded, and from what we saw guests graciously complied. It is not fun to spend your vacation wearing a mask, but we CHOSE to go knowing masks were required and we were grateful to see that cast and guests alike took it in stride - for the health and safety of everyone.

Pros: The All Star Resorts are a great, value option for anyone who wants to stay on Disney property (which comes with many perks) without spending a fortune. It is very bare bones, but who needs a swanky 5 star hotel when you are going to be spending most of your time in the parks? It is still fun and feels very Disney. The staff is nice, and the bus service into the parks is super easy to use. We've stayed here many times!
Cons: If you are looking for a luxury hotel experience, this is not for you. Try the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, or Contemporary. The rooms, food, and pool are all very basic. It is a little far away from the parks, so expect to drive or take the bus.

Pros: Pay the extra money for a savannah room! There was nothing better than coming home after a long day at the parks seeing giraffes, zebras, gazelles and many other African animals right off your balcony. I've never been that close to exotic animals and I didn't want to ever leave my room! Plus, the service here was impeccable. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Cons: The rooms in this hotel are very old. Everything is dusty. Beds are uncomfortable. Bunk beds hurt to sleep in. Top bunk creaks so badly, you think you will fall off. No convenient wall outlets. Very, very old tiny TV. Every corner, molding was dusty. Nails missing from wall mirror. Dings in every piece of furniture. The whole room needs more lighting, it is extremely dark. No room to put the luggage rack out to actually put your suitcase on it. I will not be staying here again. If you want to stay at a Disney resort, pick a refurbished one. Pool is not well themed, like other Deluxe Disney Resorts. This hotel does not meet expectations of a deluxe resort experience.

Pros: The room was fantastic. Updated and positively posh. The 12th floor view was incredible with fireworks shows from two Disney parks. The in-room Starbucks was a nice touch. I found a new favorite Disney hotel. Thanks!

Pros: Despite this hotel’s age, the facilities are quite nice and maintained/refurbished very well. We love the comfortable beds, coffee/breakfast cafe near the lobby, and hotel restaurants. The short boat ride to other Disney Resorts and Epcot is great!
Cons: The coffee bar could really be expanded to include more tables. On the mornings that we visited, the counter servers were very busy with a long line of customers. Strollers and kids everywhere! Not enough tables for customers and no staff available to help keep the seating area clean. Tables rather than sofas on the other side of the hallway might be more useful and a staff member to keep this area clean would be great! Dining chairs could use new upholstery. They are getting heavy use by a lot of customers!

The hotel is pretty, but because of covid, personnel is not picking up trash (never seen this before), changing sheets or towels. You need to call them, which is super annoying because when you return from the parks the last thing you want is to call them for service. We realized about this the second day late at night when we returned and we found everything as we left it. Also, beware if you arrive with a car: not only you must pay the $35 + taxes per resort per day but also you need to pay for parking: 29 usd per day per day for self parking, otherwise they have valet parking, more expensive. This resort does not include breakfast either and the cafeteria inside of the hotel is pretty expensive.

Pros: Beautiful hotel! The character dining at Garden Grove restaurant was awesome, have your kids bring their autograph books with them. Staff was friendly and very accommodating to families/kids. We ate dinner at Il Mulino restaurant and despite being more upscale Italian, the waiter was very engaging with our kids and was happy to make them chocolate milk with dinner! The grotto pool was beautiful, large, and poolside food/beverage service was on the ball.
Cons: Nothing really not to like, just some advice: Prices are expensive but hold value. This isn't a Super 8 but then again they treat you way better than a Super 8. Just remember EVERYTHING at Disney World is expensive. Also this: this hotel is on Disney property but is NOT a Disney hotel. You still get the same perks like early park entry and free shuttles to the parks, but what you don't get is free shuttle from/to the airport on the Disney Magical Express. A Disney rep will tell you to use Mears transportation saying it's cheaper than a taxi but don't. Our taxi, with tip, was cheaper than Mears' fare plus we didn't have to wait the half hour for the Mears shuttle. We were in a taxi in about 5 minutes at the airport.

Pros: The staff at the Swan (and ALL of Disney) were all very pleasant and had WONDERFUL attitudes.
Cons: The fact that there was NO shuttle service to Epcot or Hollywood was disappointing...yes there was a boat ride and that was fine, but it's still a diesel boat that spews out awful smelling fumes and it took about 30 minutes total to get to/from either EPCOT or HOLLYWOOD Studios, due to the wait times for the boats and lines. We ended up walking most of the time, except at the end of a long day at Hollywood (11.5 mi walking in 7 hours as the Gondola was broken both days). There should have been a shuttle option. Beds were just OK as they dipped in the middle. I thought it was perhaps just our bed, but my 9 yo son's queen bed did the same when my wife and I swapped with him. When you pay that kind of 5 star price, you expect 5 star accommodations....what we got was about 3.5 stars. Resort fees are, indeed, ridiculous. We were going to have an omelet at the breakfast buffet, but the price was so ridiculous (approx. $30 per adult and $20 per kid) that we ended up going to First Watch, being waited on, eating a great meal....and, oh yea, it was less than half the price of the buffet at the Swan. I will say that my wife and I ate dinner at the Italian place in the Swan and it was very good, with excellent service. Kimonos had excellent, fresh sashimi and all three of us really enjoyed our meal and the service there was outstanding. I probably wouldn't stay at the Swan again because there are superior options for less $$, but the convenience was very nice as you could walk from the Swan to EPCOT easily (about .75 mi) and Hollywood as well (about 1.2 mi). Anyway, I would opt (given the price difference) for staying at a Marriott or Westin that's close....there is one with an amazing waterpark (if you have kids or are a big kid, yourself) as part of your stay, and the price is at least $100 less per night. Let's face it, that adds up. They also have a shuttle that brings you to and from the Disney resorts. I would still give the Swan Resort at Disney a solid B, but it just feels like too much $$$ for what you get.

Pros: The proximity to the Disney parks is wonderful. Taking the ferry to Epcot and Hollywood Studios or the bus to the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom was very convenient for our vacation.
Cons: Nothing about the hotel signals that it is on the Disney Property. That would have been okay though because we wanted a more adult hotel for our honeymoon. It was the terrible value for money that means we will never be back. Housekeeping forgot to clean our room (because of the option to opt into a green program, I can see how this mistake might be made when many other rooms decide not to have their room serviced daily). But we were on our honeymoon and wanted this. When we came back and found our room had not been cleaned, we called guest services, which was nothing but a recording that was on a loop. So we went to the front desk, where we were told it was too late to have our room serviced. The staff was never apologetic about the fact that they had already placed us in a room with 2 beds, when we were on our honeymoon, and now our room was not even being cleaned. I have stayed at Westin hotels before that were wonderful. This hotel was not on the level I've come to expect from the Westin brand. I would not come back here and would not recommend it to others.

Cons: Our reservations were for the Swan hotel but when we arrived we were told we were at the Dolphin hotel. We asked why we were there our reservations were for the Dolphin hotel. We were advised we must have read the confirmation wrong. The woman at the Dolphin hotel asked if we had the confirmation. I pulled it up on my phone and she confirmed it showed the Swan. She asked if she could make a phone call. She made the phone call in front of us and advised the person on the other end what I had and what their system showed. She was told we were supposed to be at the Swan and they corrected it in their system. The lady apologized and said that she could check us in but we would have to get our key's from the Swan because their systems were different. When we came back the bellhop that was going to assist us with our bags said very sarcastically, "ladies you are at the wrong hotel. I will tell you very slowly how to get there." We told him that we went to the Dolphin and they found that we were supposed to be at the Swan. He told us he would assist us with our bags once we got our keys. When we turned around he ducked into the back and a different bellhop advised us that he went on break so he would assist us. The room we were in smelt like mildew and we were advised that there were no other rooms available.

We had booked a 13-day stay at the new Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, but since that hotel has been delayed and won't open for another several months, our reservation was changed by Marriott to the Walt Disney World Swan. While we had booked a premium room with a guaranteed view of Epcot in our booking at the Swan Reserve, the room we were given at the Swan did not have a view of Epcot or Hollywood Studios - instead we were put in a room facing the opposite direction away from the parks and looking at the still-under-construction Swan Reserve, which was disappointing given the premium we had paid for the Epcot view room. If you've booked a room with either an Epcot view or Hollywood Studios view at the Swan Reserve and they switch you to the Swan, be warned that you likely will end up with no view despite paying more. The Swan (and the sister property Walt Disney World Dolphin) are within a 15-20 minute walk of Epcot and Hollywood Studios and also offer boat service to these two parks, so it is very convenient if your Disney World plans are focused on these two parks. If you want to go to other Disney parks (such as Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom) or to Disney Springs, the change in the bus service to a third-party offering instead of the Disney bus transportation is a major inconvenience. The bus transportation from the Swan and Dolphin to those other parks and Disney Springs will drop you off a very long distance away from them. For example, if you are going to Magic Kingdom, the bus will NOT take you to the park, but instead drops you off at the Transportation & Ticket Center - and then you need to take the monorail, a ferry, another bus or walk from the TTC to Magic Kingdom. If you go to Disney Springs, the bus from the Swan drops you off at the West Side area, and then you need to walk a good 20 minutes to get to the main entrance of Disney Springs (where the Disney bus system drop offs are). It's very unfortunate that the Swan and Dolphin decided to end their contract with Disney bus transportation, as you'll need to include at least 30 minutes in your planned travel time to get to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs. Given the premium you are paying to stay at a hotel on Disney property (even though it is not a Disney-owned hotel), the bus service to those parks other than Epcot and Hollywood Studios are no better than the bus service you would get staying at a much cheaper hotel option a little further away.

I understood this room #444, was newly constructed....has anyone tried hanging a suit in this closet? very poor planning. Secondly air conditioning was malfunctioning when I was there. I doubt I'll stay at the Swan again. p.s. Note I didn't mention the bomb scare...that could happen anywhere. The closet is ridiculous.

Pros: This hotel was a fantastic value. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the resort. The room was very clean, and the area was mostly quiet.
Cons: The hotel room--and it may be designed this way--felt as though it was designed in the 50's and refitted in the 90's. The amenities were what was expected, the decor just seemed a little dated.

Cons: It took us 30 minutes to check in. They kept telling me that we booked with a third party and that was the problem. We had a 2 year old with us and when we checked in we asked for a pack n play. Went to get something to eat, and when we returned it still was not in the room. We called and it took another 1/2 hour to receive. Very crowded, and the food was just mediocre. Room was very small, if not Disney it would be 1/2 the price.

Pros: As it is described it is a Value Resort, the cheapest Housing by Disney but kids friendly invironment, but misses basic shopping needs like fresh milk and cereal as it has a small useful Kitchenette. With a fridge, microwave, wide cabinate but they use USA electric sockets only, you can buy a converter from the gift shop but bare in mind USA only uses 110V electricity. so make sure your device is dual current or you'll end up grumpy like my wife who couldn't use her own hair Devices ;) .

Finding a dark hair on top of a white towel is pretty gross.

While I didn't have much experience with the Polynesian or any of the other Magic Kingdom Resorts, my wife was very familiar with it from when she was visiting there frequently as a child in the 90s. We weren't sure if our experience was a direct result of Covid-19, but we were very disappointed that for over $1,000 a night, we ended up having to do doordash most nights, the food we did get on-site (Kona restaurant had an identical menu to Ohana, the latter of which was even more expensive) was subpar and felt like you could get similar cuisine at a grocery store. Most disappointingly, housekeeping was altered to only provide service every other day and even with this statement we checked in on a Wednesday but didn't have beds made or the room tidied until we requested it on Saturday night/Sunday morning. I have seen better service at a Motel 6. Similarly as part of a deal with one of the restaurants (Captain Cooks), we ordered dinner one time with commemorative 50th Anniversary cups but instead we're given generic Disney World cups in the package. When we went to complain we were told that the exchange could not be made as we'd already used the cups. Luckily we had a very helpful cast member named Sheila who took care of it, and we appreciate her stepping up and going above and beyond. That being said the location was excellent as we could hop on a ferry or take a quick monorail ride directly to Magic Kingdom which is where we spent most of the time. Overall this was not worth the money and given the chance again we would not stay at any of the Magic Kingdom Resorts. I think we're going to go with Universal next time. Just really disappointing overall, unfortunately.

Pros: The hotel staff makes the first and last impression, and everyone from the desk staff to housekeeping was so friendly and accessible. The rates were reasonable, and they offered free busses to the Disney Parks. And the pool and it’s staff was perfect on a hot day.
Cons: Having stayed at the Wyndham part of this hotel last year, we were really looking forward to returning. However, the Wyndham Garden featured hard beds and brown-yellow walls that made us feel like we were in a cheap apartment on the South Side of Chicago.

Pros: Very close to Colorado Springs area.
Cons: Not worth the money. Remodel was nothing like in pictures. Old section of resort. No amenities or resort perks but still charged a fee. Without the shuttles and pools just stay offsite and dive in. The room was very clean but not worth the extra cost.
